He put his head in his hand and started with the fake sobs. He was not so bad at this stuff even though in real life you would know that he hardly ever cried over anything. He hadn't even fully cried when Brody dumped him, he just got teary.

"But I thought she was the one. She said we were forever. She made me love her..." Evil evil girl who didn't care about him. "I could try to replace her, but no one would be the same."

Gold burst into laughter, before quickly composing herself, and slowwwly shaking her head. "I'm so sorry, Mr. T," she said, hugging him and patting him on the back. "Time heals everything."

"Well, she doesn't love you anymore, so no forever, Mr. T. I'm so sorry, but we absolutely have to look for a new girlfriend, for you. I'll go get some quill and parchment, and we can make the banners." Enlargement Charm and all. "What do you think you would like them to say?"

Merlin, this was awesome.

"Why are you laughing at my pain?" he called out sadly as he gave a melodramatic sigh.

"Is there someone else, Gold? Did she tell you who it is? I need to know..." He thew in a few sobbing sounds for god measure and then fake composed himself again. "I dunno. I'm too heartbroken to think. What do you say?"

haha. He was having so much fun here.

"I'm - uh - hysterical!" Gold tried to cover up. Truth was, she was still struggling, not to laugh.

She pretended to look away, pretty sadly, when Torin asked if it was someone else. "I thought you would realize," she said, softly. "I should have told you before, Mr. T. It's - it's -" Pause. Dramatic pause. "It's the new teddy bear, I got her. She absolutely loves him, because he's pink and you aren't." She shook her head sadly.

"I think the banners should say, 'Amazing!Hufflepuff: On the lookout for someone pretty.' What do you think of that?"

Brody was going to kill her!

"A teddy bear? She replaced me with a teddy bear?" What about him? Was he not good for her anymore? He wasn't pink that was true. But he had still always been there for her and he got her a lot of presents.

"I like that for the banners." Cue another sob.

Gold nodded, dramatically. "It sounds awful, I know," she said, still patting him on the back. "But you're not pink, Mr. T, you can't be pink. Plus, the teddy has an awesome button-nose, and eyes that change colour, if you tap them with your wand. She absolutely loves it."

She nodded, patted him a bit more, and conjured some quill and parchment. "What colour do you want the text to be?"

He sniffled and rubbed at his eyes. "Are you sure? Can you not make me pink? I'd be pink for her." He'd do it because he loved her and he would do anything to stay with her because she was amazing and he didn't want to lose her. "Stop talking about it. It hurts too much. I can't bear it."

"Orange." Sniffle.

Gold frowned, as if in thought. "I could," she said, finally. "I could turn your skin a rich pink. But I might also turn your teeth pink, in the process, and I have a feeling Brody doesn't like pink teeth. So that plan is a no-go, we can't possibly take the risk of further alienation."

Poor Mr. T. Well, not that any of this was TRUUEE, but she was playing the part fine enough, Gold thought.

She tapped her wand on the parchment, turned it PINK!, and wrote down the words "Mr. Banana!Torin: In search of a new girlfriend. Possibly pretty and please, please, please single?" on it, tapped them to turn them a deep orange, and then held out the mini-banner, for Mr. T to see properly. "Reckon I should enlarge it, now?

He shuddered. "I'll pass. Not even she is worth pink teeth." He didn't want to be a freak or anything. Not that it mattered because this was all a game and he would really do anything for her because she was Brody.

He watched as she made the banner. "Perfect. Yes, that needs to be enlarged."

GASP! "I'm so going to tell Brody that!" Gold said, giving up all pretense, and pointing a finger at him. "Bad Mr. T! Bad Mr. T!" She was obviously joking again. She grinned, as she fell silent, and crumpled up the parchment.

"I don't want Brody to kill me," she said, with a grin. "I couldn't possibly have enlarged that, you know."

"I thought you told me that she didn't love me anymore!" he exclaimed as now the game was suddenly over. He glared at her. "You play with my heart like that." But he was grinning at the time and trying really hard not to laugh.

"I know. I wouldn't really want you to do that. I know she really loves me very much."

"Get a life," Gold said, sticking her tongue out at Torin, and chucking the crumpled parchment at him.

Hehe.

"I knowwww." She shifted a bit, and beamed up at him. "It would have made a creative banner, though. Even if Brody would have never talked to me again, for it." She doubted that, though.

Brody was her BESTIE.

"You get a life first, loser!" he said as he ducked the paper and then poked her. Mean silly Gold.

"She would though because she would get it was a joke." She was amazing like that and it was one of the reasons why he loved her. "But if it had been put up... That might have been a different story." He was sure that it would have made her rather mad.

"Meanie!" Gold returned, raising her hand to chuck the crumpled parchment back at him, and then deciding against it. They weren't exactly acting like nice!prefects, you know.

"Exactly," Gold said. "She's going to laugh at it, but if I had actually put it up, she wouldn't have been too pleased. I don't think she expects something like that, from me." Besties, right?

He smirked as she didn't do anything to get back at me. "Look who's talking." He stuck his tongue out at her. But he didn't really care because he loved her and he knew that she had only been joking anyway.

"Yeah, that would have upset her." And he wouldn't want her to be upset because of some joke.

"Only the most innocent redhead ever," Gold replied. She rose to her feet, beamed at him again, and then stretched a bit. "I should be getting back to the common room, Mr. T, I have loads to study."

She stifled a yawn.

He smiled at her as she got up to leave. "Later, Miss G. Not a word to Brody." He winked at her to show that it didn't really matter to him if she was told or not. Seeing as she would get that it was a joke.

Time for him to go too. He needed to study more before he went to bed. Fun times.

"Of course not," Gold agreed. "I'll keep our sneaky, little secret." She stuck her tongue out at him, then swung his arm a bit, the way she often swung Lori's because she found it all comforting, before letting go.

"G'bye, Mr. T!"

She waved to Chris on her way out, heading back to her common room where a pile of textbooks awaited her.

Feeling like she'd been awake for a week, Miranda stopped outside the door she had spotted on her way to Vindictus' office. It was...new? 'Captains Only'. Oh, that was cool. Very cool. She touched the handle, and then tried to turn it, but the door wouldn't open. After ramming into it a couple of times trying to get it to admit her, she stopped and took a step back, scanning whatever it was that was infront of her - because it wasn't just a normal door, was it? DOORS OPENEDED!

But, seeing the door knocker looking like...it was broken, Miranda squinted at it and stepped closer. Hmmm... Tracing her fingers around the indentation, she chuckled. Could it be? Well, only one way to find out.

She carefully removed her badge and pressed it against the knocker, and lo and behold, there was a click and the door finally opened. Cool.
Peeking her head inside, she noticed the comfy chairs, the fireplace and the plush sofas, all ready to be used. Exellent. Just what she needed. Hopefully this place would have some piece and quiet.

Walking inside, she didn't think twice before falling face first onto a couch, and felt her eyelids quite easily falling shut.

Brant quickly took off his badge and entered the Captains lounge, Looking around it seemed empty, but then he noticed. His "Bel" almost asleep on the couch. Brant walked over to her and she did seem asleep so he grabbed one of those small blankets and put it over her while he went to go get some food. He was hungry and this place always had a great spread out. sitting down on a different couch he just let her sleep. "Man, she looks soo cute sleeping" he thought while noming on some cheese and crackers trying to be quite for he didn't want to wake her.

There was a chocolate frog hopping around and Miranda was running after it, trying to catch it. It wasn't going that well because she was so out of breath, but the chocolate looked so tastyyyyyy!

Quite suddenly, there was a gigantic shadow over her. Looking up, she saw a fluffy cloud and it totally flopped ontop of her. But...it was a cloud, so she didn't really feel anything. Not that she might, seeing as it was a fluffy cloud...errr.

Her face was scrunched up against the light from the fireplace, but she blinked one eye open and saw Brant sitting there. Eating. Food. CHOCOLATE!
Feeling a little groggy and kind of embarrassed to be seen like this, she sat up and pulled the blanket over her head (she was sure her hair looked like a hurricane), wearing it like a hat or something. "Hi...Brant." Bahaha! But she managed to smile, feeling happy to see him. School and Quidditch had them both busy. "How's it going?"

Hehehe.

Brant noticed that Miranda was moving around alot and then she sat right up and pulled the blanket over her head. "Hahahaha, shes soo cute" he thought, then she said hello. She seemed really tired.

"Hi my "Bel", how was your nap. I was standing guard for you." he said while getting up and getting some juice for her and of course a chocolate Frog because Brant knew how much she loved her chocolate.

"Here you go, I thought you might like a drink" and then he pulled from behind his back the Chocolate frog. "and this. I know how much you love them" he said with wink. Sitting back down on his own couch he let her be relaxed yet again.

Heh. She felt a small blush creeping up on her cheeks at his nickname for her. She even smiled shyly at that. Hehe. Standing guard? Awww. "Thankyou." She smiled bigger now. Actually, she hadn't had such a terrible dream like she usually did. Huh. "It was good. Probably thanks to you."

Miranda watched the Gryffindor Captain stand up and walk over to somewhere. She craned her neck a little (nosy Badger) but sat 'normally' when he walked back. "Oh, thankyou." She reached out for the juice and started sipping on it, but when he revealed the CHOCOLATE, she grinned. And went all grabby hands for it. Bahaha.

Hm. She should say something else besides 'thankyou's' and blushing like a fool.
"How are you? Haven't seen you in a while." Half of the frog was devoured like... whoa. "Hope schoolwork isn't keeping you too busy..." hm, she was starting to miss him, dude.

Brant was happy when "Bel" kept blushing and said her "thankyou's" he couldn't help but laugh. Watching her nom on a chocolate frog and sipping on her juice Brant was happy. "Oh, no my classes are going great. this term feels a bit more bussier then last but I don't know if thats just me?" he said while slouching in the couch.

"Ahhhhhhh Just "Bel" and I. just the way I like it." He couldn't help but think that over and over again.

"How are classes going for you?. Man I can't believe that next term will be our last." he said while looking up at the ceiling.

Nibble. Hah.
She was glad to hear his classes were okay. Thank Merlin they had passed their OWL year...now they could look forward to their NEWT year. Hehhh. Busier? "Yeah...it does feel busier. It's odd. Must be Quidditch." She shrugged, taking another big sip from her juiiiiiice.

"Classes are allright. I mean...they're classes." Snort. Some were sooo boring, but what were you going to do. "Yeah, I know..." Miranda wrinkled her nose, thinking of what would probably be a VERY sad year thinking of how it was indeed their last one. "Do you know what you want to do after you graduate?" Heavy choices.
