Soon enough, Cedes began to get tired of walking around and so she made a vow to sit in the first compartment she walked in... which wasn't smart because what if there was a guy? But she didn't care. She did. But she wanted a seat. But she didn't want cooties. Ahhh... mental debates with herself.
The girl opened up the compartment door to see two girls and a BOY. "Hello. Will I be interrupting the party?" Boy. Boy. BOY. Quote:

Now was her chance to find out if the other Ravenclaw's name was Beth Ann or not - though she was fairly certain not - as she eagerly looked from the Claw to the new girl, waiting to see if either offered their name to the other.
And another? Mariel glanced back to the door once more as a little girl walked in - one that apparently knew Kevin. The sixth year gave her a brief, acknowledging nod as she entered. Oh good, another chance for introductions. Mariel was in the clear now. "Quidditch, huh?" Becca repeated to Kevin, then gave a sly grin. "What position?" She glanced at her fellow Ravenclaw, Mariel, as if to boast of Ravenclaw's excellence even if they failed the last few terms, then raised her eyebrows as yet another Ravenclaw girl entered their compartment. "Be our guest," she shrugged, gesturing to the open seat. Becca crossed one leg over the other and leaned back, observing the present company. They were a silly-looking bunch - two Ravenclaw girls[maybe three, for the new arrival appeared to be familiar?], and a Slytherin boy. But Miss Professor Lainey had always said to go for the Slytherin boys! "Hey... uh, I'm Becca, by the way," she tossed out to Mercedes who appeared to be very nervous about... something. "Who're you?"

The bunny was running out of train. Hopping casually to avoid it's master, the furry creature didn't have time to wonder what that shadow was hanging above it. "Ah ha! Caught you!" The rabbit shook the hat it had been caught under while it's owner dragged his way over to it. By the time he reached his hat, the little guy gave in, and didn't fight when he was scooped up with the hat and placed on the boys head.

It was faster than he thought, but he knew better than to let it take control, especially in front of Marie. Instead, he bit his lips and counted to ten, which didn't help him calm down a bit.
Great. She wanted to leave. Her comments was hostile again, but at least she was leaving. She was quick to pick signals. Or maybe she understood it was a pain for him. He hoped for the first one, and was shocked when she turned back again. Why was she not leaving? Just go away and live your love somewhere else! Hearing what she got to say, his face darkened and he felt as if something hit him. He is a true friend... That meant Evan failed at that too, didn't it, before confessing each other their feelings? And her next comment scared him--what if he had been all wrong and saw everything wrong? Maybe that hug was innocent, like his and Fallon's. Then why this tension between them? And remembering how Marie reacted to Carter's presence, he was once again sure It wasn't simply a friendship. He blinked after her. Everything felt like slow motion--except Marie's leaving. He realised that if he hadn't lost Marie before, she was truly gone now. Shaking, he punched the couch and kept biting his lips in order to avoid a tear escaping from his closed eyes.
This year would be like a nightmare--no, it already was.

Ericks was slightly bored and shooting sparks for hours just wasn't that interesting. He decided to name the raven and screech owl. He decided to name the raven "Crowfeather" and the screech owl "Screechy." Then he accidentally shot sparks into all the nearby compartments.

Keeley was late. Late late late late late! She had barely jumped onto the train as it had started moving. But now, there would obviously be no more empty compartments, and she didn't want to talk to strangers, especially first years, as they were crawling all over the place this year! Flipping aside her yellow-blonde hair, the quirky girl plopped down in the middle of the corridor. Yep, right on the floor. She was a weird girl, and the thought of her action being bizarre didn't even cross her mind. Letting out her fat old cat from his basket, she scratched her dear Aphrodite on her chubby little head, humming pleasantly to herself. This was a funnnnn time.
