Soooo. She kind of needed to pass her owls, and that kind of meant she needed to attend lessons, and that was why Brody Summers was stood outside the transfiguration classroom. She wasn't particularly interested in this subject, but her Mother had made her take it, so.
With a sigh, and then a flick of her hair she wandered into the, rather emty classroom. "Hello Profes---" Who didn't look anything like she had remembered her from previous. Brody decided not to continue her sentence but instead took a seat

Lorelai, sunken into a slump of a hair-do that hadn't been done in a while and absolutely no makeup, stepped into the Transfiguration class, and managed a small smile at the Professor. Managed and small, being the key words. Both equalling forced and fake; something she had never wanted to do. But she just wasn't in the mood. She was tired, term was nearing the end, and by golly was she revised out.

But it was just to pass her OWLs. That was it. Other than that, it was revision solid, catching Adam around the grounds. more revision and even more revision. SIGH.

She took a seat towards the middle of the class, but near the door aswell, easy to make a get away if needs be.

Ivory walked into the near empty classroom with high hopes. Her usually bright smile was dimmer than usual and she had certain expectations for this class that she was sure would bring it back to full force...that is until she saw the Professor.

Seeing Professor Pilliwickle made Ivory's heart sink. Where was the bubbly woman she enjoyed so much and kind of secretly thought of as the grandmother of Hogwarts she hadn't gotten to know yet (Of course Professor Kazi was the grandfather but she'd never tell him that)

Not knowing how to fix the situation, Ivory did the only thing that in an eleven year old's mind was deemed the solution to every problem. She gave the Professor a little hug.

"Professor...don't worry be happy!"

Kellen walked into class, noticing the rather glum look on the professor's face. He sent her an encouraging smile and sat down, still distracted by the nice weather despite himself. At least that Ravenclaw kid was giving the lady a hug. That should help. Hopefully.

Oh, what a sweetie pie.

With a small half-hearted sigh, Professor Pilliwickle offered the small Ravenclaw girl that had given her a hug, a light pat on the before sending her on her way.

Just as she'd thought, not many people in attendance. Sigh. And she had something a little more fun up her sleeve for this lesson too.

"Lets give the others another five minutes," she smiled softly.

"Hello Professor." Carter said brightly walking into the class. He almost looked back to normal now. Maybe there was a bruise or two. But after all that dueling he was glad just to be in one piece. And this was his favorite class. So, even better.

But Professor Pilliwickle didn't look like she held the same enthusiasm. "You alright Professor?" he asked. Maybe she was ill and needed the healer.

He took a seat near the middle of the back. Seemed that was his new favorite place to sit in classes.

Hmm.

This class would be quite interesting. That was the only reason Destiny showed up. Just kidding. Transfiguration happened to be her FAVORITE class!

Aww! But poor Professor's Periwinkle looked so sad. 'Helllloooo Professor! Turn that frown upside down!' And upside down frown would be a SMILE!

And smiles were goooood.

Oh...Oh jeez. She really didn't want to come to this class today.

The happiness. It was just too much! But here she was, standing outside the door, staring and hoping that everything will be calm.

And, strangely it was. There was no annoying laughter or butterflies or...well no. Destiny seemed particularly happy for some reason. Eh. "'Ello Professor." she mumbled before going to a usual seat on the back.

Perhaps this class will be okay this time.

Marie walked into the class surprised to see the professor not being her usual bubbly self. "Hello Professor, how are you today?" Spotting her friends at the back of the room she went and took her usual seat by them.

"Hey I'm glad to see you two were able to make it to class, how are you feeling?" she asked Destiny and Evelyn as she sat down next to Carter. She had been really worried about her friends after everything that had happened to them so it was really good to see them now.

"Hey Carter, how you feeling?" He looked like he was doing pretty good after all that dueling but she knew looks could be deceiving.

Arya walked into the classroom cheerfully, it was a good day for learning how to transfigure something new.

Taking a seat beside Ivory she smiled up at the old woman, trying to make up her her lack of cheerfullness, "Hellooo, professor!!"

Carter smiled. "Good, thanks." he said. Although his mouth still did hurt a bit thanks to a kick from Evelyn. But other than that he was fine. He was just glad that everyone was okay.

"How about you?" He knew she took some nasty falls when she got stunned.

Tiberius slipped into the classroom feeling rather morose adn quietly took a seat.

He didn't want to talk to anyone. He didn't want to look at anyone. He just wanted the term to be over. It had been even worse than his first! And he hadn't thought that possible at all.

He'd take the muggle school bullies any day.

Evelyn was pulling out her notebook, weird quill, and ink as usual when she heard Marie next to her. Well not next next to her, but close enough.

How was she doing? For once, she wasn't wearing a sweater, and she had her short sleeve shirt on, revealing the pink scars on her arm and the slightly larger one on her neck that were still extremely sensitive. She just could not, for the life of her, remember how she got these things OR that charm her mother taught her that would have been perfect to cover all this up! Plus now, the dark bags under hers eyes were quite noticeable too.

So, how was she doing? Sitting up, she turned and glared at Marie with her still black eyes instead of hazel, not really in the mood to speak, interact, or look at anyone. It was rude and mean, yes, but she just wanted to go home.

Kay ran into class and sighed. made it. She looked around the room and saw the Professor. Why so sad she thought. "Hi Professor, Is very thing alright?" She asked taking a sit. Class as going to be a little weird after want had happened.

How was she feeling? How many times can one person be asked that question? After a while it just really gets old and one gets tired of answering it. That's what was happening to Destiny at the moment.

Pulling out her things after she took a seat, she glanced at Marie and shrugged.

Let her figure out what that meant, since Destiny had no idea.

"I'm doing okay." If you count all the bruises and aches and pains as okay. Yes, she was rather sore from all that shaking and kicking Destiny had done to her.
It appeared Evelyn was NOT in the mood to talk to anyone. Marie just smiled at her then started getting her things out for class.
And it looked like Destiyn wasn't in a talking mood either. Maybe she was still mad about her wand.

"Hey, you still got Destiny's wand?" she whispered to Carter. Destiny wouldn't be mad anymore if she got her wand back.....Right?
Wow, Ayra seemed rather cheerful for someone who didn't have a wand. Yes, Marie still had her wand up her sleeve with her own. She really should give it back.....But she won't, she will just wait and see if the Huffy even knows who has it.

Fiddling with her thumbs, she looked around the classroom. Ever since she had lost her wand she felt incomplete, like some part of her was missing. The girl didn't even remember how she lost the wand, or when for that matter. All she remembered was leaving the hospital wing with Sabel, then the next thing she knew, she was on her way to this class wandless, hopefully she wouldn't need it for class.

Turning to her friend, she wondered if she could tell her were she might have misplaced it. "Hey Ivy, have you seen my wand?"

"Yes, yes.. everything's fine," Mildred managed a small smile as she watched more students filter slowly into the classroom. Everyone appeared to be down in the dumps today. Hopefully the class she had planned would do some cheering up. On their part anyway.

"Shall we begin then? Who can tell me about human transfiguration? What do you know about it?"

Human transfiguration? Were they going to be transforming each other today?

Marie raised her hand, "Professor human transfiguration is when you transform from yourself to someone or something else, like say.....a werewolf." Yes, she still had the memories of her little lesson with Kazi and Lupa fresh in her mind.

Oh my...Human transfiguration?! They were learning about that today?

This class was going to be amazing. "Aren't there several types of human transfiguration? One from being an animagi, another from polyjuice potion, and three from I think metamorphagi..." She didn't know if being a werewolf counted as human transfiguration seeing as those people had no choice, or if even the polyjuice potion counted...Or even metamorphagi! Pretty much listed whatever came to mind for that matter...

Mildred actually managed a small giggle.

"That's correct," she nodded, "although poor werewolves don't really have much of a choice.."


"Right you are!" Professor Pilliwickle nodded at the Slytherin. This one hadn't looked very interested in previous lessons.. she looked PLENTY interested now however. "Some good examples of human transfiguration there." HEHE.

"Unlike animagi and the polyjuice potion however, human transfiguration doesn't always have to be a complete transformation. Anyone know a point in history where someone has used partial human transfiguration?" Time to see if they'd paid attention in History of Magic!

Ivory's head whipped back and forth between the whispered conversations everyone was having. What on earth were they talking about? Why wasn't every body fine? Sure she felt more exhausted then she had in her entire life and she didn't remember anything before coming to dressed outside the door to this class but so what? She'd been having nightmares recently and she was sleep deprived of course and every knew that meant-

WHAT?

Ivory hunched her shoulders slightly to whisper to Arya. Your wand???

Scrunching up her face she tried to remember...anything.

Shaking her head bemusedly, she nodded her head in a little no, but vowed to help her later.


Ivory listened to what others were saying and jotted down notes. There was quite a lot she didn't know about human transfiguration, a lot she really needed to learn to accept who she was. And it seemed this class was going to help her.

Of course they were good examples. Pffft, she was the one who said them. Duh! But she had to be good today, and listen and be all respectful and stuff. Which meant she couldn't roll her eyes.

"Viktor Krum." she said after raising her hand. Of course she read her history books. Quite a few times actually to really come to a point where she read the words and actually remembered them instead of forgetting five minutes later. Or at least, she thought she read this in a book. She could have just overheard someone saying it before. "He turned into some half fish shark thing in the second task of the Triwizard Tournament. Although I think that was more of a mistake then anything."

Ella recalled one time before in the Triwizard tournament many years ago. "I briefly remember, professor.. there was a candidate from Durmstrang named Victor Krum? He was a Quidditch player too," she said cheerfully, "When they had to do the underwater task, he transformed partly into a shark."

Feeling pretty happy with herself, she continued, "What about bringing inanimate things to life, professor? And werewolves like Lupin? Would they count as partly human transfigurations? Well.. turning into a werewolf isn't by will.. never mind." she asked curiously. Transfiguration was her favorite class.
