Emily was nervous for her first year of divination, so she decided to go see the proffessor to put her mind at ease. Emily knocked softly on the door and waited politely to see if she would be invited in

Antonio heard a knock on the door, it sounded very soft and tentative but he could still tell that someone was out there. He stood up from his desk, where he had just been thinking for a moment, and went and turned the knob. "Hello, do come in," he told the girl who was standing there. He could sense nervousness on her part and hoped to be able to make her feel more at ease.

Emily looked up at the proffessor and walked in. "HI, I'm Emily Moonfield." EMily paused "This is my first year i will be taking divination and I was a little worried, since i don't know what to expect." Emily said. "what exactly do we do?"

Nicoletta approached the door. Mabey I should... Or mabey I shouldn't. What if he's busy?! Nicoletta brought up her hand to knock on the door. Then she withdrew it. Just knock already! a voice in her head said. Nicoletta knocked four times, slowly. And waited.

Antonio laughed. He could sense what Emily was nervous about now. "Hi, Emily, it's nice to meet you," he said. "Actually, Divination isn't as scary as a lot of people think it is. A lot of it is regarded as a bunch of nonsense, but there is merit to certain aspects of it. Not that anyone can really accurately predict the future, of course. And that's basically what Divination is. People invented it as a way to see what would happen in the future, but because there's really no exact way to do that, of course, it's become somewhat the object of ridicule and fun. It shouldn't be, because, as I said, you can still learn a lot about things through Divination. Just don't use it to try and predict if you are going to become a millionaire, that kind of thing, but if you want to learn a few basic truths about your personality and what may happen in the future, just things to watch out for, then it's prefect for that. It kind of works alongside Arithmancy and Ancient Runes but is a bit different. When you come to class, you'll see. But don't worry, we aren't going to be chanting into crystal balls or that sort of thing. We'll probably be doing chart work, mostly, and working with cards or keeping track of certain things. It should actually be enlightening, at least I hope so." He laughed.

Antonio heard another knock. "Excuse me for a moment," he told Emily, and went to answer the door, admitting another student. "Hello," he told the girl. "Come on in, too."

Emily heaved a sigh of relief... that's all? she could handle that. "Cards? You mean like tarot cards? Because I love tarot cards, I have a deck in this satchel." Emily said holding up her satchel she wore around her waist. She kept her money and tarot cards and tarot book in there (she still wasn't advanced enough to know the full meanings from the top of her head).

Nicoletta entered the office and looked around. "Hello," she said "I'm Nicoletta Davis. I heard the first Divination class is soon and I thought I'd come meet the proffesor." she smiled and looked around at the space.

Antonio smiled. "Yes, tarot cards are definitely one aspect of Divination which we will be covering. We will probably be learning about Astrology first. It's going to be easy, though, and fun. I hope to make it as entertaining as possible!

Antonio smiled. "Nice to meet you, Nicoletta," he said. "Yes, the lesson will be starting and I hope you find it informative. I try to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible as well as a learning experience. Makes you remember better, I think!"

" Hello, Jason told me you had been the Muggle Studies Professor, sir" Rex told him. " I would like to help you with yoru new office, sir" Rex said to Professor DuMont.

Wow! that may just be crazy enough to work. "Thank you sir. I was also wondering what we'll be doing this year?" she flashed him a smile and stood with her hands behind her back.

"Hello, nice to meet you, Rex," Antonio said. This was the first boy who had appeared so far. "I'll try and find some things for you to do. I haven't really had a chance to do much decorating in here yet, perhaps you might be interested in helping the office look a bit more presentable?"

"Well, we're going to be starting with very basic astrology and then move on from there," Antonio smiled. "It should be something where everyone can jump right in, even those with no prior knowledge about astrology at all. We'll be moving on to more advanced stuff later, hopefully with the view of everyone being able to read their own charts soon."

"Sure, I will help you empty these boxes for you sir" Rex told Professor DuMot. Rex unpacked the boxes. He put everything that goes on the Professor's desk on it. He hung up the pictures for Professor DuMont. He put up the chats for the Zodiac signs and the Chinese Astrological Signs.
Done, good job Rex he told himself.

Oh! I love astrology! I'm a scorpio....... I think..... scorpio is october 20th to november 19th right? and the next sign starting on the twentieth? though I'm pretty sure those might be a few days off..."

"Oohh! I love astrology! Do you know if we'll be doing anything with crystal balls?" she asked politely.

"Thank you, Rex. You did a very good job," Antonio said. The office looked great.

"Yes, that's absolutely correct. Very good!," Antonio said.

"We might be later on," Antonio said. "I wanted to start things off kind of quietly, but I think that might be a good thing to work on later," Antonio replied. "It could be very enlightening."

Thanks Professor DuMomt" Rex told him.

SWEEEEEEEET! she was right.... Emily did a happy dance in her mind (cabbage patch!) "Ialso know my other signs.... like all the ones for the planets and the moon...." Emily was starting to get braggy...

yay yay yay YAY!!! "Thank you sir, and I look foreward to more of your classes!" she said. Nicoletta collected her bag and left.

"Sure, thanks again," Antonio said as the one boy who had shown up walked out.

"You do? Wow, that's excellent. You are going to be doing very well, then, I'm sure," Antonio answered. "That kind of gives you a jump on what's happening."

"I look forward to seeing you in class, then," Antonio said. He was glad no one was intimidated by the study of Divination.

"oh that's cool.... then I have nothing to worry about!" emily said. She smiled at him and then said "Proffessor, completely off topic question, but what is your favorite dessert?" She thought he looked like a cookie guy... she wasn't sure though.

An expression of happiness came over Antonio's face as the word dessert was mentioned. "Oh, I'm just like anyone else, I love all things sweet. Sweets are my favorite, I guess I'm a kid at heart." He laughed. "If I had to think of my favorite, though, I would have to say ice cream. Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, to be more specific. What about you, though? What's your favorite?"

"Hmmmmm...." Emily thought, she had never thought about it before herself. "I like most anything sweet too i suppose, I do Like Maple candies and Pocky though. It's like two great countries, only I'm eating them" Emily laughed "Canada, where I was born, and Japan the birthplace of Manga!" Emily smiled, she loved Manga books...

"I've never been to Japan yet, though I've always wanted to visit there," Antonio said honestly. "It's someplace I've always wanted to see, I've heard that it's a beautiful country, and full of wonder. I love Canada, though, and Maple candies. Canada is an amazing country, so much diversity."

"My family might be moving to Canada, to my Grandmothers house." emily said "She died this year, and since I spend so much time in Canada, they decided to consider moving there, that is after we get back from our visit to India."
