Strolling along this particular corridor Jake felt the absolute need to hold his breath and desperately try not to breathe in the icky smell. It was making the hair on the back of his neck stand on end just thinking about it.

Checking his uniform, the boy was pleased to note that everything was so far in order, all the better to make his point. Which a deep breath, which the boy definitely regretted, Jake ignored the ridiculous sing on the door (what bell?) and knocked five times in rapid succession.

Cadence had made a decision that this year was a new year at Hogwarts. Most of these professors probably didn't even hear about her destroying the Common Room two years ago. After all, she had changed a lot since then. This year, she was going to focus on her studies, and her first step towards doing so was to go to the office of every professor of every class she was taking and personally introduce herself. And here she was, at the door of Professor... where's the sign?.... Professor Kazimeriz.

Before she knocked on the door, she took a quick inventory herself. Her uniform was in perfect condition, hair sleek and shiny, no food in her teeth, makeup was very conservatively done... just enough to bring out the golds and browns in her eyes.

Smiling to herself, she finally knocked on the door and, standing confidently, she awaited admittance into Professor Kazimeriz's Office.

Nicoletta stepped towards the door to Proffesor Kazimeriz's office. She knocked on the door loud enough for someone inside to hear. She fidgeted with her fingers while she waited. Nicoletta loved potions, problem is, she's not terrible but she'd like to be better. That's why she came to see Proffesor Kazimeriz.

Tobias stood outside the Potions Master's Office, turning his head slightly to one side as he read the note. Funny sign, he thought, as he raised his fist and knocked firmly three times, since there's no bell at all!

Professor Kazimeriz would be crucial to his becoming normal again. As the Potions Master, the Professor had to know subtle tricks and secret ingredients that would be able to unfurl Tobias's head and return it to its original style. But before all that, a relationship must first be developed. As a Slytherin, and as a resourceful young man, Tobias understood the value of having friends and acquaintances who could double as vital helpers.

Kylie hadn't really spent much time getting to know Professor Kazimeriz the prior school year. She figured while she was making her pre-class welcoming spree, she'd drop by his office for a little hello and gift.
She walked up to the door and knocked proceeding to taking a step back and waiting for permission to enter.

As more and more students showed up, Jake began to get more and more impatient. He moved forward again and this time hammered on the door with his fist, muttering a few choice swearwords.

DUDE! There was something WITH the staff this t-

No… every term.

Nicoletta grew tierd of waiting. She pulled out a piece of parchment and scribbled on it. Upon finishing, she drew her wand and magically glued it to the door.

There was only one thing for it.

Journal.

The boy stepped up to the parchment book and picked up the quill, twirling it between the fingers of his left hand before bending towards it to write, adjusting his glasses.

With untidy and downright attrocious penmanship, Jake wrote in the journal thing that was in the corridor for a time much like this. His spelling was bad and letters were the wrong way round, but on the whole, you could probably make it out.

After writing this, which took a while and exhausted Jake, the boy stepped back and looked up and down the corridor, before... vaguely wondering off.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

The resounding echo of Professor Kazimeriz's cane striking the stone floor announced his arrival moments before the man himself appeared in the corridor.

He surveyed the situation, a stoic expression on his face. There were several students waiting in the hallway and... what was this? He saw a note stuck to his door. "Apparently Miss Davis does not know how to read." he murmured to no one in particular, crumpling up the note and vanishing it. With that, the tall professor unlocked his door with a wave of his wand. He looked back over his hunched shoulder at the students, a sour look on his ancient face.

"Best get this over with, the lot of you. In you go." he gestured into the office with his cane, then shuffled in, presuming they would follow him.

See! Look at that! Everyone else had apparently given up on the office. But still, Jake had grown worried that the man had like... died in his office or something. He didn't like to think about it... but still... he had to get in there and check. Like. Before he left.

Because he was totally leaving.

Yar.

Taking a full run up, despite being ridiculously ill and liable to have a choking fit, Jake sprinted down the corridor and, with a breath of determination, he launched himself at the door, causing a loud FLUMP!BANG as he made contact... and bounced straight off.

Laying back on the floor, Jake was in shock... he didn't move.

Until he started coughing. Great, rasping, wheezing, choking, hacking coughs.

Well, at least he managed to 'knock'.

Nina walked down the hallway, crinkling her nose to the smell and shivering slightly. She got cold very easily. She made a mental note to take her winter cloak with her to Potions class. Whenever that would be. But that's why she was here.

She saw the boy laying on the floor making those not healthy sounding noises. "Are you alright?" she asked holding out a hand to help him up.

Then she read the sign on the table first, then on the door. She picked up the knocker with nothing but her nail and the tips of her fingers. It felt disgusting down here. Like everything was contaminated with some unknown, unsanitary substance. She knocked thrice on the door and stood waiting.

Kazimeriz's voice echoed in the hallway:

"You may enter."

It seemed to have taken forever, but the little group had finally made it to Professor Kazimeriz's office.Or Sarah had anyway.She'd sped up a little once she knew no-one was in sight and screeched to a halt just outside the door.Hopping from foot to foot in anticipation, she looked along the dark and dingy corridor to see the figures of Aaron and Barry not far behind.

Nodding to them, but not sure that they could see, Sarah turned back round to face the door."I'm going to knock now," she told them as they got nearer.Gulping hard she read the sign and took the wand out of her pocket, twisting it between her fingers.Slowly she raised her right hand and rapped three times on the door.

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

Oh Merlin, please say he could help them.

Kazimeriz's voice echoed in the hallway:

"You may enter."

Barry was nervous again. He`d never liked the dungeons much. He`d always lived in the open and in the light. The dungeons were dark and closed. He only came down here if it was necessary like for potions. At least Sarah and Aaron were with him and although he would never admit it he liked their company.

But for now he had to stop being selfish and go on. Kazimeriz would be able to help them find Cela he was sure of it. He just had to stand him and the dungeons for a little while. He nodded encouragly as Sarah knocked on the door and as Kazi opened the door he waited for someone else to go in first. He would not be alone with this man

It took forever or maybe it was just the really long day coupled with the long walk that had Aaron feeling worse for the wear. Sarah and Barry both approached before him and the former had even knocked. The first year DID however, arrive just in time to hear the last word of the old man's voice: enter.

Oh Merlin, please let him be of help. Nervous and exhausted, Aaron followed the two older kids into the office, feeling far smaller than usual.

Lina approached the office and knocked at the door. Hopefully she would get a good chance to talk to him. After all, what she promised her first year directly conflicted with the homework. And while she assumed permission, she would really rather make sure things were clarified.

Kazimeriz burst out of the office, nearly running into Materia. "Miss Materia. I apologize; I cannot take visitors at the moment... We are facing an urgent issue. If you like, you can speak to me as we walk to the Headmaster's office, however if you need to speak privately I am afraid you will need to wait until I return."

Lina jumped back, a little startled. Listeining to the professor she shook her head. "It's nothing private."

"Then hurry along, for a student may be in trouble. What is it you wished to speak to me about?" He walked on, leading the small entourage toward the stairs.

ooc- if you want to go up a level to the kitchen corridor, he'll go as well. We can work our way to the HM office while we talk.

"Alright. I should have come sooner... It's about the homework and something that happened my first year..." she started, following after him."

Aaron knew he was probably an idiot and that he SHOULD be heading down to the great hall for the end of term feast, but instead he walked past the ground floor and towards the dungeon. Really now, going to visit a professor for pretty much no reason at all? Definitely insane. Amelia would probably kill him if she ever found out, but fortunately she wouldn't. If he got in trouble, a letter would go to his parents and since Amelia was neither his parent nor guardian, he was safe.

Approaching the door to the aged Potion Master, he knocked twice, hoping the man was in and feeling well.
