So far this year just hadn't started off the way she wanted it too. All thanks to that walking corpse Kazimeriz. What had she been thinking to think the man would have warmed up to her last term. And to think she had baked the man scones! And Paris hated all forms domesticity.

She walked out of the castle. She just wanted to get away from everyone and everything. Why did her terms have to start off so crummy? She was a good person. She always tipped more than what was required, and she always shopped at stores where the sales people worked om commission.

She didn't know where she was going, but when she saw the broom shed she figured she could take her mind off of things by polishing some brooms for a few hours.

She pushed opened the door gently and walked in. She sighed as she was the only one in there. She smiled and took a few brooms off the rack and set them down on the table in the center or the room and she grabbed a cloth and the broom cleaning kit.

It was dull work but it was taking her mind of of things.

Chris had walked out of the castle only a few seconds after his girlfriend Paris Greenwood had. He smiled and then saw that she definately had something on her mind and he decided to let her walked and think before he interupted her. He walked a bit behind her watching the lake and the tops of the dark trees in the forest sway with the wind.

He looked up to see Paris walking into the Broomshed. He nodded and followed her in. He slowly opened the door and then shut it softly behind him. He then said. "Hello Paris!" with as much love as he could put into two words. He walked over hugged her and kissed her swiftly on the cheek. "How are you?! Sorry I missed you on the train." he grabbed a broom too and began to polish its long handle.

She was already on her third broom when she heard the door opened. If she turned around and it was Willow Kovac was some smart remark Paris was going to blow. She just couldn't deal with her today of all days.

She looked up and almost squealed with joy when she saw it was Chris. She refrained from jumping up and doing just that. She might tear the whole shed down if she did that, and she doubted Vindictus would like that. She accepted his very quick hug and friendly kiss on the cheek before she sat back down and went back to her broom polishing. "Oh I'm alright. Oh its alright about the train." she said turning the broom over to clip a few bent twigs. "I just," she didn't know what to say, but she could talk to Chris. he understood her better than anyone she wasn't related to. She clipped two twigs and looked up at Chris. "Kazimeriz is just so horrible," she sniffed, a few tears spilled down her face and fell on the sun bleached table.

Chris smiled brightly at Paris' pure delight of his arrival. He had missed her too. He took a broom and began to polish it as she started to talk about what was up.

Then he heard her say Kazi's name and how horrible he was and then she started to cry. "he looked up an put his hand under her chin and lifted her face up so she would look at him. "Kazi can be a bit hard on people sometimes, but you are Paris Greenwood, a strong woman and you shouldn't let him bring you down." he smiled at her, and wiped a tear away with one of his fingers. He then added something, a bit of his prefect mind, "But even if he gets upset with you, you have to remember that he is a Professor and you have to treat him with respect." he smiled. He knew she would always do so and didnt have to warn her, but he said it anyways out of instinct.

Miranda sneaked off towards the Broomshed, wanting to have something to do - and ofcourse clean up a broom or two.

Her mind wandered off to the fact that she didn't have a broom of her own. Frowning a bit, Miranda wondered if she could maybe ask for one for her birthday, she was about to become 15 for merlin's sake!

Miranda stopped. Fifteen... sixteen, seventeen. She blinked as the realisation that in two more years it would be graduation time. Gah, time passed so frickin' fast! Look at Dominic and Karla, she had known them for so long, so long that she didn't even remember WHEN, and now this was their last year. LAST!

EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh.

Looking up, she noticed the door to the broomshed, scurriying towards it quickly, she opened the door and wondered if there were anyone else in there.
Her eyes scanned the shed, it seemed pwetty empty. "Ahhh, brooms, we met agaiiiin!" she said in the most loud booming voice she could muster. Approaching a broom, she looked about, to see that she was indeed alone, "Who me?" Miranda gasped theatrical, "Well yes, I'd be honoured!" she then proceeded to curtsey. With one fluid motion, Miranda grabbed the broom and began to waltz.

"Hmmmhmhmmmm..." she hummed a tune ash she twirled with Mr. Broomstick.

After that, Miranda returned to the castle.

Max was wondering if someone had slipped him a draught of the confusing concoction in his coffee as he entered the empty Broomshed. He stepped inside and saw that a few things were definitely out of place - broom care materials were lying haphazardly on the table and a few used polishing rags were lying on the floor. However, he didn't immediately explode at the mess like he normally would and instead began to look around, behind and beneath every crate, bench, and table in the shed. Cobwebs were disturbed and spiders scurried out. Fifteen minutes of searching and NOTHING.

Disgusted, Vindictus grunted in dismay and stomped out of the shed.

Having sprinted all the way from Bunbury's office with two antique brooms in hand, Jake, with his hood up, dashed into the broomshed, keeping his face totally hidden, just in case. Quick as he could, the boy jumped the broomsticks along with the rest of the school brooms, before turning and hightailing it out of there.

Mission: complete.

For now.

Kay had made it to the broomshed. She knock on the door before going in. "Professor Vindictus?" Kay Said as she walked in. She look around at all the brooms. The room was in a mess. "WOW." Kay thought. "What happen here." Kay said out loud. She went over to the table and started cleaning. She hoped the Professor would be back soon. As Kay cleaned she felt even more tired. She knew that she wouldn't last very much longer. "People just can't follow the rules" Kay said "Maybe the professor will be happy enough he'll let me fly." Putting some of the brooms away Kay saw two very nice ones up on the hall. They were older ones, but very well kept. Could they be Jakes, kay wondered. He had just left before she enter. Kay cleaned until everything was back in its place. The professor still had not returned so kay thought she best get back before it got dark. She had not realized how long she had been there. Kay walked to the door and sighed. she really what to fly, but knew that she was to sick and would have surely have fallen. Kay opened the door and walked out into the cold.

Tibi made his way down to the broomshed, knowing he could grab a peek at the quidditch pitch from there. One of the teams was practicing.. he couldn't quite see who, but he pulled his camera out of his bag and brought it up to his eye.

Pointing it at the rings, he waited patiently for some action. He watched through the viewfinder as someone on a broom raced toward the rings and threw that big ball... what was it called again... toward the rings.

SNAP! Tibi hit the button quickly, hoping he caught some of the play at least. Satisfied, he smiled and tossed the camera back in his bag before heading back up toward the castle.

Really important? What could be so important that an owl had to be sent?! Was Miranda in some sort of trouble? Where was she, anyway? Did Kaika actually manage to arrive earlier than expected?

Nope. She was on time...that meant...Miranda was running a bit late...or her watch was wrong.

Oh, yes, her watch was wrong, because the handles weren't moving...er, was Kaika running late? It couldn't hurt to wait a couple minutes, besides, this part of the grounds was surely nice. So, yes, she waited for Miranda to get here...hopefully the girl was all right.

Help with something that was reallllyyy important? Dominic frowned again as he concentrated on the words on the parchment that Miranda had sent. Sure Miranda had unintentionally become his PIC, but for her to request his presence in the broomshed when they haven't really talked much this term... And saying it was important, Dominic wondered what it could be.

Hexing Ravenclaw broomsticks? Jinxing bludgers? No; both of those two would surely land them in a detention with Professor Vindictus.

Then . . . what? Arriving at the broomshed, the seventh year slipped inside from the blistery cold January day and shut the door, expecting to find his young fourth year friend smiling mischievously up at him. But no, instead it was . . .

"Kaika?" Dominic raised an eyebrow in alarm at seeing his captain checking her watch. The letter was definitely from Miranda, wasn't it? Strange . . . and yet, for some reason, Dominic's mind flashed back to last term and the letter from Evolette, which had ended up being a trap for him to meet up with Willow.

Could Miranda have done the same thing? No... She wouldn't. Kaika was just here because she was obviously reviewing equipment for their first practice. But just to be safe . . .

"What are you doing here?"

Oh gosh... The cold was sort of making her move more slowly than ever, and Miranda had been wandering the grounds trying to get some decent pictures for the Muggle homework. And NOW she really was hoping that Kaika and Dominic had both recieved their Owls... the owl with the parchmet that is. Wonder how long it'll take for them to get here... She had no clue where they were, maybe they had more important things to do, homework etc...

Stomping her feet to get them free of the snow, Miranda finally arrived at the ugly old broomshed, and opened the door. She expected it to be empy and dusty and cold, so it was a big surprise when she saw Dominic and Kaika ALREADY THERE.

"KAIKAAAAA!" she gasped, "DOMINIIIIC!" and ran towards them, spreading her arms wide to hug them both at the same time.

It might not be a big deal, but the thought of them leaving school and leaving her made her not care how silly she might seem right now.
"Thankyou for coming, I didn't know you would be here so soon!" she said happy. Oh so happy. Sigh.

Yeah, she was not going to release them. Hehe.

It was odd. As soon as she heard the door being opened, Kaika's eyes followed the sound as she expected the person who was walking inside to be Miranda...only...the one who said her name was not Miranda.

Disappointed? Surprisingly yes. What was Dominic doing in here? And...why did he--Wait...she was free to go wherever she wanted to go, right? So, she couldn't be in the Broomshed? As a Captain it was certainly a common, or not, thing to be hanging out with Quidditch equipment...but he was Head Boy...so, the question could be easily asked for him as well, "I was just..." nevertheless she was starting to answer...when...

"...waiting for Miranda" her face lit up, and there was a wide smile too when she noticed the one who was entering the Broomshed. Who couldn't notice, after their names being called so loudly?

And who wouldn't notice being hugged by this little ray of sunshine? The Captain tried to nod as soon as the girl finished speaking. "Er, you're hurting my arm, Miranda...and I need it for my bat" she said, slightly worried, but at the same time relieved that at least the fourth year didn't seem to be hurt.

So, what was so important?

How long had Miranda been hugging them?
It seemed like a long time, BUT the hug broke off as she almost jumped back at Kaika's words. "Ah! Sorry!" she grimaced and grinned...a grim...eh. They had just started practicing for the upcoming matches, what catastrophes would come at them if the Kapten's arm broke... Touch wood touch wood touch wood. And she did, as discreete as possible, Miranda reached out for the nearest woody surface knocked on it three times. Which wasn't that hard to find considering they were in a shed. Made of WOOD.

"Did you guys have to wait long? I hadn't expected you to come so quickly! Not that I'm not grateful, I am," Ramble ramble RAMBLE. "sorry if you had to wait for me... I wished I'd have more time to set this up, it's just that I want it to be perfect, ya know?" she took a breath, and on she went, "Because, you know, it's the only time... and I don't have any other thing to remember... Um..."

Huh, who knew asking them to pose for a picture would be so difficult?
Because it's a goodbye picture... DENIAL!

Perhaps that opening line was a bit harsh considering in some regards Kaika Lockhart had more reason to be in the broomshed then he did. But that wasn't what had Dominic so confused; it was the fact that her expression displayed UTTER disappointment upon his entrance into the shed. Like she was waiting for someone else ...

Someone who's smile radiated from her and could easily light up a darkened corridor. And whose loud exclamation of their names let them know who it was; Miranda, who else? As she hugged them as tight as her fourth year self would allow. If it wasn't for the fact that he was taller than both females, then it could have been worse. Well it WAS worse actually; he was forced into physical contact with FEMALES. Even if he didn't mind Kaika or Miranda, it still didn't mean he wanted to HUG them.

"Um..." Patting the fourth year lightly on the back in return gesture he blinked at what Kaika said. "Wait... What? You were... Waiting for Miranda too?" Clear confusion was evident on the seventeen year old's face. But the confusion didn't last long, since Kaika's complaint of her arm being hurt and her needing it for her bat caused Miranda to pull back and explain... sort of?

"No... I just arrived like a few moments before you." Dominic shrugged, thinking that Kaika too hadn't been there very long either. "But just, wait, what exactly are you TALKING about?! What to be perfect?"

Thanks to Miranda for releasing the Captain. "Thanks, my arm appreciates that" she smiled and then...

...she eyed Dominic, a confused look on her face, "You were meeting her here? Too?" okay, now this was a bit weird to be totally honest, why did Miranda called both of them into the Broomshed? Actually...what was so important? Sure, the Huffie Captain was relieved seeing that she was alright, but she was starting to get annoyed by not getting answers.

Oh, right. She wasn't asking any questions!

"Oh, no, I arrived a few minutes before Dominic did" she said, answering to Miranda's question first...apparently she'd forgotten to do so. But she was beyond confusion at this point, and by the looks and sound of it...so was Dominic.

Kaika chuckled, "Actually, Miranda...I don't think we know...what do you mean by...goodbye picture?" she didn't like the word 'goodbye' and much less if Miranda was leaving them. She eyed Dominic and then Miranda. Well, there were two people who were going to leave the school soon, but...

Wait. Picture?

"PICTURELIKETHIS!" came a voice from up high. And then a flash of a camera.

KERFLASH!

Jake had somehow managed to climb up to that hiiiiiiiigh diamond shaped window and stuck his camera inside, taking a picture of his fellow quidditch teammates, before leaping down and jogging off, in search of another photo op.

Booyah! Second picture = DONE!

Hugging Dominic around the stomach, because he was a GIANT, didn't matter really. A hug was a hug and Miranda didn't mind those light pats on her back.

After breaking the hug, Miranda watched both her teammates faces. She frowned. Why are they soooo confused? Oh right, she hadn't actually told them anything, besides her rambling.

But as she was about to answer, this flash erupted and for a second Miranda thought the shed was on fire. "Ah!" she creamed, in a non girly way...hah. "What the..." there was no one to be seen, whatever that was, it ran, long gone on its fast legs.

[B]Anyway.../B] Weird... After one last look towards the window, Miranda blushed slightly at the thought of having to tell them, "I owled you both...here, obviously." at this she giggled weird.
"Ummm..." Her mind was bursting to tell them the reason why she had asked them here today, but saying things like you two are like the closest friends I've got in this school, was rather pathetic, having two OLDER friends who probably didn't feel the same.

So, she stuck with something else, but looking like it was a bad lie.
"So, Professor Dumont's homework, you know, we have to take pictures and I was wondering if I could take a picture...uh, with all of us, for the assignment?"
Hah, look at the floor, it has dust on it. Who would've known...

Okay this was oddly confusing because neither him nor Kaika were expecting the other to be here and yet they were both invited by Miranda. And not to mention the strangeness that Kaika didn't no either what it was about. "Yes, I was meeting her here," duh, she did invite me and said it was important. It's just the WHAT was so important that bothered him.

Dominic frowned; Goodbye picture? Well there were only two people here leaving the school in just a few short months, but honestly, that shouldn't matter. Right?

... Until a voice from the high diamond shaped window and a brief flash deterred him from the two girls. "What in canaries?!" Who knew that there would be paparazzi's at Hogwarts, stalking him ALONE in a broomshed with TWO witches. Oh this was soooo NOT good for his image!

But it was gone, before Dominic could do anything and from the looks of things, Miranda seemed just as confused about the sudden picture. If that ended up on the first page of the Prophet . . . or even in Aparecium . . . someone was going to have to pay. Though Dominic didn't quite know who yet, he just knew it'd be SOMEONE.

Finally though, Miranda started to explain again, seemingly awkwardly about her intentions of OWLing them both here. Oh! Professor Dumont's homework! Gah, he needed to do that still too. "Um... Picture of all of us?" He chewed on his lower lip, deliberating a moment. "I suppose... well, I don't see an issue with that. I mean, the picture is only for the homework and ... for you... so yea, fine with me." Dominic agreed; because he didn't mind pictures (actually he LOVED them) so long as they weren't taken by paparazzi's and ended up giving him a bad image...

That....voice....why was it so familiar? Never mind. The flash blinded her mind and she lost track of whatever she was thinking, or the conclusion she was coming to regarding of the voice, anyway.

Well, the culprit was gone. And she actually didn't mind the flash that much to begin with, so she looked at Miranda as she explained.

Yes, we already know that Miranda...keep going.

That...was it? Why didn't she say that in the first place? To be totally honest Kaika started to think that wasn't the only reason for a picture of them, well, a picture of Kaika and Miranda. The Huffie Captain instantly smiled when the reason behind this was revealed. "Of course! Oh! I took one of you in Hogsmeade, by the way" she said, with a nod, but then eyed Dominic, because what he said sounded a bit off. "So...if it's not for homework or for Miranda, then no pictures are allowed?" she chuckled, yes, she was joking, no need to take anything personal here.

"I don't mind, as long as you take one with me" she said, looking at the fourth year. Of course, Dominic wasn't invited to this picture...yet. "Unless you also want to be in" she said, casually, eyes turning to Dominic.

Pictures! Oh, Merlin! She had to have one with Jake before leaving...but there was still a bit of time...

Jake...the voice...?

Good, so there was no clues as to why Miranda was really trying to get a picture of those two. Right, this didn't need to be a sad moment, it was a happy one!
Because, when it came to it, Miranda would only have that picture of her two teammates to remember them by...next term.

A smile appeared on Miranda's face when Dominc agreed. Yeah, she was getting way to excited for something that wasn't a big deal. And then a confused look appeared on the younger Huffie as Kaika mentioned being photographed in Hogsmeade. "Really?" she cocked her head. "That was sneaky...I like it!" Snort.

Oh, hadn't she mentioned it was a little group picture? Nonetheless, Miranda was way happy that Kaika wanted to take a picture with her!
"Yes!" she actually hopped, "That would be great!" A look towards Dominic made her join Kaika's question. The whole point was to have him in it aswell. "Would you?" she asked with big round eyes.

Now...Where to put the camera...

Kaika couldn't help but laugh, "Sneaky, really? And I wasn't trying to be sneaky at all" true, she was just...in the right place at the right time..nothing more.

Same as the picture that she took of Ethan and Jake...right place, the MOST rightest of times.

Never mind what Dominic answer was going to be, she'll be having a picture with Miranda, and that was all that actually mattered. Right? Right! But she could see what Miranda was thinking of, "What kind of picture do you have in mind? Because we could just levitate the camera and...well, yeah...then take the picture" she suggested, it was nice she still had her wand, unlike other people around. And she was sincerely hoping that it wouldn't go missing sometime soon, she'd said this was going to be the last wand she'd ever get. Hopefully.

"Oh yeah! That's a good idea!" Miranda grinned. Levitating, why hadn't she thought of that? Snort. Well that would be pretty good. Because she had no idea how to get the camera to snap a picture without any of them actually touching the camera.
"Yes...that would be good. Just levitate it somewhere... It'll be good!" she said hopping and clasping her hands together with the silliest grin.

A thought came to her, that she could take a picture of her temmates without Miranda in the picture. Because, well, it felt right.
So while the Captain and the Head Boy were talking and whatnot, Miranda raised her camera and took a picture of them at their casualness state.
*click*

Miranda smiled. Friendship. Yay, that would be a good one.


And then Miranda hopped over to the two and stood between Kaika and Dominic, took out her wand and aimed at the camera. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she almost yelled loudly. The camera wobbled in the air as it rose. Miranda grimaced, hoping it wouldn't drop.

"Um...how are we going to get the picture taken? I mean... One of us will have to like make the button go down..." Hmmm, this was tricksy...

And then she waited, because Miranda had no idea how this would work and she knew Kaika and Dominic had more knowledge of spells and such. Miranda laughed a little.

Theo had to put his broom away. He didn't want to play quidditch anymore. His chest hurt. Even more from the bludger. It couldn't have dislodged his new lung. Since he grew it. So it will be like his other one. Exactly like his other one. Why did it hurt so much though?

Bludgers hurt. He sighed as he placed his broom on top of the others. He wished he still had Fia to make him smile.
