Rafe was wondering down the fifth floor corridor and came across the amazing Fred and George Weasley, in statue form of course. Rafe had to stop and pay tribute to his idols. He wanted to be like them, but only greater. "Golie, I wish I had a twin," Rafe said out loud and he admired the two similar figures. Though, Rafe reflected on his previous mischievousness and felt extremely guilty once more. He was more and more careful with magic and made sure he only did it for learning purposes, or not on another student. Rafe sighed. He wish he had never met Theodore Newington, things would be a lot better for him.

Arianna strolled down the corridor with a red hat keeping her hair in place. She still had her glasses on, thought it was not very practical with all the snow outside. She sighed. Christmas was getting nearer everyday and she still hadn't decided either to stay or go home. She noticed someone a few feet away, it looked like Rafe. She got closer and heard him murmur. It was Rafe!

"I know why you wish that, that way you could mess around and blame your twin!" she joked pouncing on him.

Rafe couldn't take his eyes off the statues and he responded. "I wouldn't blame him. I will take the punishment for my actions if they're so rightly deserved." That knot in his stomach was acting up again. Every time he thought of the spell he cast on Theo, this overwhelming feeling of guilt seemed to take over. Rafe took in one last deep breath and glance and the statues of the Weasley twins and then turned his attention to his best friend.

"Hello Little Italy," Rafe said as he went to give her a hug. "You look all wintered out, you should be in a catalog or something!" Rafe messed with her hat a little. "So what's up?"

"Leave it!" she said pushing his hands away, she had a lot of work to make it look ok, and even now she wasn't sure if she like it she bumped shoulders with him. He still had the martyr look on his face, like he had murdered someone. Well he didn't, but he could have.. " Nothing much, I can't decide either to stay here at Christmas or go home" she said frowning a little " and you, how have you being ?"

"Well, the same gloomy depressing self, but I'm trying to let it go, I can only apologize so many times right?" Rafe said as he shrugged and forced a smile. "You should most definitely stay!" Rafe said excitedly. "We can rule the school when everyone else is away!"

Arianna chuckled " but if there is no one else to see.." she said with a shrug. She looked down the corridor, then forward and very suspisciously took something from her bag. It looked like brownies, though the smell was wrong, it smell like coffee. She stretched the little paper bag to Rafe and winked " Eat up!" she said with a crooked atypically smile. He had no idea what those were. They were to give you energy, vitality, light head, easy going attitude and.. no guilt at all. She had been preparing them since that last talk with Rafe, and now they were finally ready.

"Are these like your special cookies," Rafe said with a smile as he quickly took a bite, half of the brownie was gone. "Mmm..." he quickly finished the brownie. Immediately he felt upbeat. "Wow, this is great Ari you really are the bestest cook and the bestest friend I guy could ever ask for," Rafe was talking really really fast and began to pace. "You know what I feel like a swim, doesn't that sound good a nice little dip in the lake and to wash all my worries away, I mean who cares if it's snowing!" Rafe had a dereanged smile on his face. "Doesn't that sound like fun!?" Rafe grabbed Ari's hand and began running through the corridors in the direction of the lake.

Oh boy, oh boy , oh boy, Merlin save me, what have I done?! she thought in panic. She didn't want to go swim on the freaking lake, not with all the snow and ICE, but she didn't get a chance to say anything, Rafe's hyper velocity was already taking her downstairs, half pulled half dragged, by the hand.

Alexandra skipped to the staues and came to a halt. "I thought there were more than two. Oooohhhh... is that the swamp the Weasley twins created? I have always heard about this. How awesome! Now, THEY were some class A pranksters! " She said to Ellie as she peered over the rope into the swamp.

Ellie eagerly followed Alexandra down the corridor and towards the statues. She was met with a strong odour, though she was unsure of it's origin. As she rounded the corner, she realised it came from a preserved section of swamp. She immediately rushed up to the rope separating the swamp from the two statues.

She found it slightly odd that Alexandra didn't find the presence of the swamp odd, and moreso that she knew the well-known Weasley's created it. "They did this? Is it a tribute or something?" she asked, leaning on the velvet rope. "You'd think the school would clean this up, not preserve it," she laughed, then wondered if she threw some dungbombs down a hall if that would be preserved, too.

Ellie walked up to the perplexing statue of Boris the Bewildered. She read the small description, then stared strangely at the confused stone man. "Who'd want to remember this bloke?" she asked loudly, then wondered if the statue could hear her insult. "Sorry, mate," she whispered in Boris's ear in case he could hear.

Alexandra giggled and said, "Well, I believe the swamp was preserved because it was such good magic. I read it somewhere." She shrugged and began to look around. "These statues are quite ghastly aren't they?!" she said in a hushed tone afraid that someone or one of the statues would overhear her. "So, what do you wanna do now?" she asked with an eviul glint in her eye.

Ellie bent under the rope and sniffed the swamp. "It's very accurate," she stated. "Why create a swamp? Seems stupid," she thought. If she were to create a great piece of magic, it would probably involve food. "Wonder if anything lives in there? Who knows how long the swamp's been here..." she said aloud, reaching into the pocket of her robes. She pulled out a small pebble, something she collected outdoors, and tossed it into the swamp. It landed with a squish and slowly sunk into the muck.

After a few seconds, it vanished, but nothing more happened. "Batty," she mumbled. She walked over to the statue of Gregory the Smarmy and hopped atop the podium where he stood. She grabbed a hold of his arm and playful swung her body around. "If I were to make a statue to put here, it wouldn't be these old two. I reckon I'd make a giant werewolf statue, real scary," she laughed.

Ellie had a number of things she was eager to do, mostly involving exploring and mischief. She couldn't tell if the other girl was ready for some fun trouble-making or not. Then she remembered she had homework to do. "Say, you done the Muggle Studies homework yet?" she asked, hopping down and rummaging through her bag for the small yellow box containing the strange muggle camera.

She quickly read over the instructions and analysed her surroundings. Professor Dumont wanted the photographs to be creative. Ellie grabbed her rose scarf and wrapped it around Gregory the Smarmy's neck. She giggled as she struggled to work the camera, but eventually it made a flash and a click, which she believed meant it worked.

"Why don't we go to the suits of armour?" she asked, quickly gathering her things. "We could pose them! I'm sure it'd be funny," she said, eager to run down the stair cases. She liked when they suddenly moved. She glanced over to Gregory, where her rose scarf remained on his neck. "It looks better on you," she told him, decided to leave that blasted girly scarf behind. It was, after all, a gift from her aunt.

"I have already finished my homework. I turned it in to Professor Dumont. I got some really good photos." Alexandra said as she watched Ellie wrap her scarf around the statue. Laughing she said, "Yeah the suits of armor sound great! Let's go!" She then took off in the direction of the armor gallery.

OHMYGOSH!

Actual statues. Glancing around the corner of the door to the room, Ashton grinned. The stone figures stared blandly back at him. Tip toeing in with a silly grin on his face, the sixth year slid properly into the room that was filled with the daft looking statues. The main reason he'd been avoiding this room for so long was because the stone people scared him slightly... But now, now he'd plucked up enough courage to go into it.

Bouncing around them, his silly grin slowly depleting into a worried look. He stood straight behind one of the big, tall thingy peoples, just so they couldn't see him..

... AS IF THEY COULD SEE HIM. Gosh. Sometimes he wondered if he was quite sane.

Okay, time to get away from everything. Time to think about the fact she was leaving, school, leaving home. Leaving life behind pretty much. Sighing Tammy came across the STATUES! Stone things that looked freaky.

ONE OF THEM SO TOTALLY JUST MOVED! EEEP.

"AAAAH." Quickly ducking behind something she seemed tot hink was another statue she squealed again and darted infront of it.

STATUE? NO. Tammy smiled softly, shrugged her shoulder apologetically and giggled. "I'm sorry. I thought one of them moved, and then I thought you were a... Never mind." She grinned again.

Okay, it was fine.. The statues were just stone.. It was cool, everything was fine. Cool. Awesome. Amazing.

AHHHH! One of them squealed! Looking around the corner of the stone at the... GIRL! Who'd just appeared from behind it, he grinned again. There was another human in the same room as him. She could save him from the eeeeviiiillll stone people. "I thought you were one tooo!!" He muttered, sounding more New Yorker by the second.

But she was very pretty. Ooh, darn. Was that a PREFECT badge attached to her robes? Glancing at her quickly up and down, he let his own little signature smile creep on to his face.

Tee hee.

"Bleedin' heck. ME? A stone statue, I MOVE! I TALK! I'm scared of them." Tammy frowned, whispering the last sentence just so the stone people couldn't hear her. "They freak you out too?" She asked quickly, regaining her posture, and breathing speed.

Bloomin' statues freaking her out.

She grinned lightly, taking a few steps to her right, so she could see ALL of the statues now.

As the girl began to protest about his assumption about her being a statue, Ashton found himself nodding in agreement. "They dooo! Ohmygwash!" Not giving a second thought to the fact that this girl could go around telling people that he was scared of people made out of stone, he continued down his little rant about the silly figures.

"I mean, what's their purpose?! Who would make such silly things that scare people such as me and you?!" Serious, he could of gone on forever, if his brain hadn't kicked in.

"Ohh.. Yeah." Grinning and sticking out a hand, "I'm Ashton, hey."

Tammy giggled. "At least it aint just me. They watch you, and I'm too small not to be scared of them. They're taller than me. ALOT taller than me, everyone is. Apart from the RRREEALL small first years. Stupid height." She frowned, but was smiling instantly.

"EXACTLY!" She shouted, wantign to annoy the stupid statues.

"Ashton.." She repeated, shaking his hand. Okay well raising her hand nearly above her head to shake it. -EXAGURATION-

"i'M Tammy." She grinned.

Torin was looking really cool wearing his Team Torin t-shirt and sunglasses. Yep, he loved this shirt. It had GLITTER and a CAPE. Maybe he would get Lucille a little thank you present for it.

But until then he was sitting against the wall doing some homework schedule... just in case he was able to stay. There was like a 5% chance, but he needed to be ready just in case.

Walking down the corridor slowly as she read her homework through again, Peyton's gaze was taken towards someone who was glittering. Smiling, she kept walking and then stopped, looking back confusedly.

"Torin?!" Peyton exclaimed and looked down at him "What're you doing down there!? And what're you wearing?" she frowned, staring at him.

He looked up when he suddenly heard someone call his name. It was Peyton. "Oh, hey! It's my Team Torin shirt. Lucille made it for me." He got up so that he could show it off to her. "Pretty cool, huh?"

"It's your what?" she looked down at him blankly "Umm.. yeah.. cool" she nodded, wondering what he was wearing and why. Peyton sighed softly and put her homework in her pocket. "It's certainly interesting"

He watched her as she seemed to be a bit lost as to what this was exactly about. "It's 'cause I'm better than Edward Cullen. You want to join?" Hopefully she had some idea who Edward was. Maybe?
