A delighted Celandine appeared right behind Copernicus, already in her swimming gear. blue polka dot bikini aaand matching blue flippers! She dumped some of the pool toys she'd been lugging around into the water, floaty noodle thingies, balls, diving rings, floaty animal shape thingies and all sorts of fun stuff.

Then she pushed Copernicus in the water.

Teehee.

Whoawhoa. Whaaatt?

A confused Livvy walked into the Common Room with her arms filled with books, right when Copernicus began talking. A parrrteehhh? That sounded like fuuun. It was PLYMMEH'S BIRTHDAY?! How could she not have known?! Well... it wasn't exactly like they were the closest of friends, so it made sense that she didn't know his birthday. After all... he didn't know hers. At least... she didn't think he did. Blink.

And eeeeee.... Livvy quickly hobbled backwards before the floor below her turned to water. She stood on the part that hadn't been transformed and stared at the 'now pool' area. PAAARRRTTEEHH. She'd have to find Plymmie and wish him happy birthday.

And ohhh... graduating. Wibbble. Livvy thought she just might cry at the thought. She'd miss those guys alright. But no time to think about missing these guys, she might as well join the fun right? With a gentle tap, her clothes transformed into a swimsuit. Hooray for clothing changing spells. Livvy dropped her book bag down on the ground and ran towards the pool and jumped with a great big splash.

Copernicus splashed and spluttered his way back to the surface, trying to figure out WHO had shoved him in. He glared at... at Cela? No glaring at Cela.

Cope doggy paddled to the side and tugged her foot. "Pushed me again?"

Celandine laughed cheerfully as Livvy jumped in and she looked down at Cope as he spluttered and came up for air. She wriggled her toes at him and was about to say something cheesy about when he falls she does too...

but thought better of it since there were others around and just launched herself into the pool too.

Finding Plymmy would be NO TROUBLE at all. He was the boy flying through the air with the HAP-HAP-HAPPIEST SMILE on his FACE. When Plymouth had suggested water slides and a POOL to Copernicus - he just... never... expected to GET IT!


HE TOTALLY GOT IT.


"HEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! !" Plymouth shed his shirt somewhere in his excitement before CANNONBALLING in to the POOL.In the COMMON ROOM.

For his Old Man Birthday.

"Of course you'd go and take off your shirt, wouldn't you, Plym?" Issy called from the edge of the pool. She stood, her toes at the edge of the pool, her cheeks slightly pink. Standing here like this brought back a flurry of memories: the previous term, when Plymouth had paraded Willow around on his back, he shirtless; of the flood waters they swam in.

Not that she'd swam in there of her own choice, of course.

She'd slipped. Really!

This time, though, she stood on the edge, eyeing the water precariously. With caution, she smoothed down the pleats of her skirt and peered out at the happy looking birthday boy.

"Happy Birthday, Plymouth," she called.

She really would miss him when he was gone.

That's how boys swam, Plymouth was pretty sure. They swam without shirts on unless they were like scuba divers or something? Plymouth was no scuba diver but he was ALL BOY. Or, rather, particularly now - MAN.



"THANKS, ISSY." And to show his gratitude, Plymouth struck his "IMMA FOUNTAIN" pose and spit water in her general direction.

Becca was headed down the staircase to the common room when she heard Cope's exciting announcement, so she turned right around and raced back up the stairs to the dorm. About a minute or two later she returned with her saxophone in hand. She saw that Cope, Cela, Livvy, and now the birthday boy were all helping themselves to some good pool action with Issy nearby. She'd get there eventually, but for now...

"C'mon, everybody! HAAAAAAAAPPY BIIIIRTH..." she led loudly and hopped up on one of the remaining couches before popping her mouthpiece in her mouth and playing the rest of the traditional happy birthday song on her saxophone, expecting everyone to sing to Plymouth. People haaaad to sing at birthday parties!! What kind of celebration would it be without music?!

Celandine cheerfully sung along to the happy birthday song as soon as she'd come up from under the water. She floated on her back with her head supported by a noodle thingy and waved her toes at Plymouth as she sang.

He shucked off his outer robes and pushed them onto the common room floor and then attempted to kick off his shoes and socks. Good thing Truebridge's wand was in his satchel or he'd be freaking out right about now.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PLYMOUTH," Copernicus called to his brother, who was terrorizing an underclassman. "Get Issy in here!"

He dunked Cela and then set to work getting his shirt off.

"..Tooooooo youuuuuuu *Gurgle*." Celandine went under when Cope dunked her and while she was under the water she caught hold of his feet and helped with the whole, getting the shoes and socks off thing. Whooops! Thats what happens when you push people into a pool fully dressed.

She surfaced with one of his shoes and tipped the water from it, then she waved it at Copernicus and went right back to singing for Plymmy and grooving to Becca's song.

"Haaaaaapppy Biiiiiiiiiiirthdayyyy Deaaaar PLYYYYYYYMMMYYYYY!"

Music? Well... now... this was just poppin'! Lovely music coming from Becca's end, Livvy grinned widely as she lifted herself from the water and pulled herself up onto the floor and out of the pool. Time to sing haaaappppeehh biiiirrthday. "Happy Birthday Plymmmiie!" she yelled out to him, before she launched into song along with Cela and many of the others.

"HAAAAPPPEHHH BIIIIIRRTHDAY TOOOOO YOUUUUU...." Oh. Intonation. Ickkkkk.. "Haaaapppehhh biiiiiirttthdayyy tooooo YOUUUUU... Happpehh BIRRRRRRRTTTTTTTHDAAYYY DEEARRRIOOOO PLYYMMMEHHH..." Flinch. Flinch. "HAAAAPPPEHHH biiiiiirtthdayyy tooooo YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!"

Livvy giggled in delight once the song ended and clapped her hands in happiness. If only Rachel was here to celebrate with them. Though... did she know Plymouth? Mehhh.

With a bit of a squeak, Issy leapt back a bit from the edge of the pool as Plymouth turned into a water-shooting fountain, but nonetheless, a bit of water splashed off to the side and over her shiny shoe. She frowned, the crease in her forehead hardly noticeable, before she looked up at Plymouth.

She was about to admonish him, but before that, Becca struck up the Happy Birthday song and Issy chose not to distract from the boy's moment. And here she'd thought that having a tea party in the Common Room had been a spiffy birthday party.

Wait.

WHAT HAD COPERNICUS SAID?!

Pool party? Well. Phoebus was in. SO IN. He looked around though; All the other guys present were...considerably more...toned. So he kept his shirt on. Jumping in the water, he just sort of swam around, thinking about how this term was probably one of the best so far. Oh yeah.

Ooooh potions tutorrrrr!

Celandine launched herself over there and jumped on his back in an attempt to make him go under.

Quite suddenly and inexplicably, there was another person on top of Phoebus. He made an ooofing noise and went face first in the water. First reaction?

Throw off the murderous psycho who was trying to drown him. NOW.

Upon further investigation though, he realized they were...friendly. And female. HUH. He came back up,turning to see who it was. " Celandine!" He said, spitting out some water. " You're...dressed appropriately. Swim party and all," He gestured, but sort of vaguely. He was glad to see her though, obviously as he gave her one of his half-grins. His usually sproingy hair was all flat from the water, so he couldn't do that patented nervous hair pat. But he tried, which just sent water down his face.

Celandine laughed and splashed a bit of water at him. "I know right! It has seahorses!" She pointed them out then did a little spin in the water and went under enough to get a mouthful of water, which she fountained at Plymouth much the way he had at Issy moments before.

She eyed Phoebus again and shook her head. "You should Impervius your hair before you swim." She told him fondly and then Varius Tippsed him herself. Pat pat.

Plymouth didn't know WHO TO LOOK AT FIRST. Or the MOST. Or what to do with his hands or what to do at ALL. He was, BY ALL MEANS, an attention hog. But... but.....


Awww... this was just ALL SORTS OF .. GOOD.


Plymouth was maybe even getting a little CHOKED UP?


Unmanly. Unmanly. Totally unmanly. He splashed himself in the face and held out his ARMS. TO EVERYONE.


"Best birthday EVER." Totally was, too. "HUGS FROM EVERYONE!" Like, you know, now and simultaneously.

Phoebus grinned more as Cela patted his head, but his attention was diverted with PLYMOUTH freaking PLYMOUTH getting attention. Of course. No, no hugs from Phoebus. " So yeah, seahorses. I can see...them they're uhh...tiny," He said, pointing them out and then deciding pointing probably wasn't best at the moment. " And I really should. Spur of the moment swimming though...it's just gonna get ultra poofy later," he said, shrugging a bit and smiling at Cela again.

Mina looked at the water from her little perch on the armchair. Everyone else appeared to being having fun splashing about. Should she join in or should she just watch? She wasn't really dressed for a swim, but it wasn't like she hadn't ruined a handful of her robes throughout the year already.

Biting her lip, she thought about it more. She really didn't have anything to lose by joining in, right? She DID want to join in and it did look like A LOT of fun.

What was that saying again? Something about going out with a splash? She smiled and toed her shoes off, setting them on her little perch of a chair and pulled her hair up in a messy bun. Taking a quick look around, she stood up and leaped in.

One is young only once and one should live it to its fullest.

Victoria walked into the common room still wearing her bridemaids dress, suddenly she saw that the common room had changed into a pool. What did she miss?

Barry had been revising for his last final. Barry looked up as Copernicus spoke. He dumped his book somewhere. It could wait. NEWTS were next year. He hadn`t always been on good terms with Cope. And did Plymouth even know who he was? Maybe not. It would be nice to end things on a good note.

He looked to Plymouth. Maybe he`d hear him. Maybe not, "Happy Birthday!" he congradulated. What else could he say? He just sort of just swam on the surface watching people.

There was no way it could be THIS hot. NO WAY. Rachel huffed and puffed and tried VERY hard to pretend like the light sweat that was forming on her forehead was just a figment of her imagination as she climbed up the stairs towards the Ravenclaw common room where there had to be SOME sort of breeze and a couch that she could dump herself on and not get up until the end of term.

Quickly answering the question the portrait asked, Rachel closed her eyes and walked in, enjoying the feeling of the colder air and the- EH?! Frowning as she head SPLASHING sounds instead of the usual silence with the occasional turn of a book or a low string of words, Rachel flung her eyes open and almost shrieked as her gazed landed on a GIGANTIC POOL in the middle of the Common Room.

... And she was THAT close to have just walked right in. Taking a few good steps back, she quickly dumped her bag beside the notice board and removed her tie and shoes. Ahh - that felt good. She was liking this idea more and more but she couldn't help but feel a tiny bit weirded out - because c'mon, her common room was a POOL. As her eyes traveled further across the room towards the staircases, she gasped as she saw that THEY were now water slides. WATER SLIDES.

Ok, this was WAY too much fun to pass up - plus, did a better way to cool down exist? Nope, it sure didn't. Grinning widely now, the sixth year took her wand out of her pocket and summoned her two-piece swimsuit from the common room and hopped off to change in one of the toilets - she had never really gotten the hang of those clothes changing spells... Last time she had tried her socks had ended up on her ears, her underwear on her head and her shirt tied around her waist like a belt.

A hilarious sight, for sure, but not one she had been glad to see at six am in the morning.

Done, she sprinted out of the toilets and without hesitating, CANON-BALLED into the pool with a LOUD shriek. Surfacing, she managed to catch the end of what Issy had told Plymouth and comprehension dawned on her. "Happy Birthday Plymouth!" she hollered in his general direction and began circling the common room in search for more people she knew. In her shock, then in her hurry to get out of her clothes, she hadn't even glanced to see just WHO was present at this exciting turn of events.

Oh ya she had forgot that it was Plymouth's birthday, she changed into a bikini and dived into the pool!
