"Great! Let's go!" Nataly said cheerfully and skipped out of the shop with a dreamy smile on her face. Butterbeer, butterbeer, here I come!

He waited for her to speak, wondering why she didn't just tell him outright. He knew that she had a secret now. There was no other way she would have figured it out.

Then she gave a cryptic response. Was she fooling with him? Probably. He didn't really but this. She think he was stupid or something?

"Right, you're a mind reader." He rolled his eyes at her.

Adrienne grinned as she didn't even need to do anything to tell he didn't think she was serious about what she had said. It wasn't her fault if he didn't want to believe it, considering there wasn't much more she could do to prove it to him. But the eye roll was particularly entertaining. Leaning over so she could lower her voice a little, she said, "Actually, it's called Legilimency. And in my case, it's an inherited trait." And if he went around and told anyone else about it, she'd come after him. Cause while she was okay with Torin knowing, and obviously Chloe knew, she wasn't entirely sure she wanted many other Hufflepuffs to learn about her little secret. Especially one. It was just too much fun having an advantage over him.

"So anyway," she said, moving back into a standing position. "Getting some chocolate fortification for when we're all back at the castle?" She laughed a little, as she turned back to glance at the fudge. Do I want some of this too? Truffles, chocolate frogs . . . She glanced back at Torin for a second, curious on if he was still disbeleiving, or if she'd confused him again.

SUGARRRRRRRRR! Wonderful, sickly-sweet, teeth-decay-in-a-store, darlingly darling SUGAR PARADISE. OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

Terry had to resist the painfully powerful urge to bare his teeth and dive headfirst into the ginormous glass cases of fudge right by the entrance.

No no. Acting like a civilised being came first. ...unfortunately.

Zooming for the first shelf of marvelous candies to his left, Terry emerged several seconds later, his dark mop of hair barely visible from behind the brightly multi-coloured MOUNTAIN of bubblegum and acid pops he had laden in his arms. He beamed brightly. ..then cast a furtive look over his shoulder. Just as long as there was no one around who knew about his crazy sugar rush episodes, it was all goooooooooood. Even so. next time, he wasn't leaving without his handy-dandy sunnies.

Cradling his confectionery like they were the most precious things on earth, which frankly, THEY WERE, Terry trundled along the rest of the store, scooping up any more toffees that took his fancy.

His one requirement: The higher sugar content, the BETTER. hehe.

"I guess so," said Bella.

LouAnn shrugged when Jake asked if she wanted him to pay. It didn't really matter to her who paid, she just wanted candy, especially after the incident in the alley they'd just had. LouAnn didn't know who that hooded figure was (and she really didn't care), but she was just glad to get away from him. "It doesn't really matter to me," she said, walking up and down each aisle as she talked. "I mean, I brought along a little extra money for a 'just in case' situation, so I don't mind. I mean, after that run-in with the figure in the...

She stopped walking and talking and turned to look at Jake, a puzzled expression on her face. Funny, she hadn't remembered owning a set of those before...if what was in her pocket was indeed what she thought it was. She pulled her hand out her pocket and examined the seven objects she'd randomly found. There were little designs on each and every one of them, designs she'd never seen before now. "Funny..., I don't remember..." LouAnn's voice trailed off as she continued to stare at them.

She didn't know what they were or how they'd gotten in her pocket, but she felt the need to keep them with her and not question their existence to much. She shoved them back into her pocket where they'd be safe and sound. "Hmm...that was---weird," she mumbled.

"I don't think I have money," Jake replied quietly, trying to make his voice all apologetic. "My bad."

As he said this, Jake was fiddling with some objects in his pocket, clanking them together in a kind of rhythm. It wasn't until he'd been staring into space for a few moments that he noticed LouAnn acting all weird.

Giving her a curious look, Jake continued the clanking and went to stand closer to her again, feeling alot safer with her than without.

LouAnn shrugged once again when Jake said he didn't have any money. "Okay, then. I'll buy you some Sugar Quills. I don't mind," she responded. She rounded a corner and found herself face to face with a large display of Sugar Quills, Ice Mice, and Jelly Slugs. Perfect. She'd found nearly everything she needed in one place. She selected some Sugar Quills and Jelly Slugs, then made the rounds until she'd collected Chocolate Frogs and a random assortment of other things, too.

After paying for all of it, she returned to Jake's side and gently shoved the bag of Sugar Quills into his hand. Funny how she didn't really know this boy, but she seemed to find herself lingering around him as if they'd known one another for years and years. She felt her pocket again, still surprised and confused at what she'd found, then glanced back up at Jake. "I think I'm all done in Hogsmade. Will you walk back with me now?" she asked.

And there she was doing that freaky thing again!! No, he did believe that she was born with the ability to mind read. This was something that you had to learn. Or at least that was what he always had been told. So really it was expected that he was

Ignoring the question about Chocolate frogs, he focused his mind on he colour green.

"Okay, what am I thinking about now?"

Glancing down at the Sugar Quills now in his hand and for once in his many years not desiring to consume sugar... yet... Jake glanced up at LouAnn, feeling relieved. "Yeah," he said, nodding frantically. "The sooner we get out of here, the sooner I can sleep or something."

Though he felt nightmarish now... so how would he end up?

"Let's go," he said, speaking in hushed tones, still. "I'm... I'm just tired... that's all."

Funny, but LouAnn sort of felt the same way she imagined Jake to feel. She just wanted to return to her Common Room and lie down for a little while and just think about things. She felt a little funny, though. Odd, you could say. She was a mixture of emotionless, confused, frightened, and tired. The only problem was, she couldn't imagine how she got this way so quickly. Just thirty minutes ago, she and Jake had been walking to Hogsmeade, chatting a million miles a minute (on LouAnn's part, at least) without a care in the world.

For a moment, though, her world turned black, and she seemed to be lost inside the forest of her mind for a brief period of time. When she came to a few seconds later, she wrinkled her eyebrows slightly, then moved an inch or two closer to Jake. "Yeah, let's go," she mumbled, not mentioning the little blackout session at all.

Not having noticed anything strange at all, Jake nodded firmly, just the once, and grabbed LouAnn's hand, dragging her towards the door. "I want to go home," he said quietly, though where 'home' was, Jake wasn't so sure anymore.

Blinking, Jake shoved the Sugar Quills into his pocket and checked the other pocket again, though he wasn't entirely sure why. That being done, he pulled on LouAnn again and exited from Honeydukes, heading for the route that would take them back to school.

Bella had then desided to head on back to hogwarts because she didn't know where Keeley was and was wondering if she wasn't there yet or so. She was trying her hardest to read Keeley's mind, but Keeley was to far away, and that had to mean she wasn't at Hogsmeade, or did she only have nargles in her head at the time? So she bought a berties bots bag for Keeley(handed the sickles to the sales person) and headed back to the school.

"Bye choluna, bye carter, I'm off to see where Keeley is." Bella said.

"See you." Carter said to Bella. He then turned back to Choluna. "So how are you liking Hogwarts?" Carter asked.

Jason came to buy chocolate for Victoria."Anyone have an idea to get for yoru new flame?" Jason asked the students in the shop.

Chelle was startled as Nancy hugged her very tightly, not giving her any space to breathe. When she finally let go, Chelle heaved a sigh of relief. Happy to have made someone else so happy, Chelle gave a smile. `You're most welcome! Have fun with your Maple Fudge,' Chelle panted, and made a run for the door. She thought it would be best to get out of Honeydukes before Nancy caught her again!

It was really amazing, how difficult it was to convince Torin that she wasn't playing with him. Although, she had to admit right now it was a bit amusing. But if she had to go through this every time she tried to let someone in on her secret, she was going to get exhausted. And this all started cause he insulted my outfit, she thought with a sense of irony.

Ah, but then Torin decided to challenge her, and she grinned. "You really want to play that game?," she asked, before looking at him intently for a few seconds. "You're thinking about green. Or trying to. But I'd also like to point out I said it was inherited. I never said I didn't have to learn how to use it." And she had to wonder about the fact he was willing to ignore chocolate to keep bugging her about this. That was so something she would never be able to do.

The door chimed softly as the two entered. Daisy paused to pull her scarf down off her face so she wouldn’t get overheated. The store had its heat on and she wasn’t about to start sweating only to go back out into the cold and get even colder as they wandered around Hogsmeade. She also paused to pull her fingerless gloves off and shoved them into a pocket.

“So what were you thinking of getting?” she inquired to Vivianne as she looked over the large display of blood lollipops. They looked deceivingly good and they even had a new flavor out. ‘A-B Negative’. Daisy wondered how good they actually tasted.

Twirling a lock of hair around her finger, Evolette stared at a display, without really looking at it. How did she end up here anyway? She couldn't even remember.

But hey, chocolate. Chocolate was good.

"Darn you!" he exclaimed when she got it right. So she really was a mind reader.

"You so can exploit people with this gift, Adrienne." He shook his head as he spoke. He was still surprised and not really sure what to think. But that much seemed obvious to him. He suddenly wondered if she had ever read his thoughts before; and that scared him. Not that he thought necessarily bad things.. but it was still freaky.

Would he have to guard himself around her from now on? Probably.

And suddenly the thought of chocolate regained it's appeal. "...Lets, uh... get our chocolate now?"

Adrienne laughed as Torin basically told her she was right in her comment about what he had been thinking. Not so much because she thought she'd been wrong, but more so just the way he had done it. Like she had foiled his plan or something. But then he went on to talk about it, and she sobered up. "Torin, it doesn't work that way. I'm not actually supposed to really be using it at all when I'm here, since my grandmother doesn't think I have enough self-control yet to make it be worthwhile." And to be honest, she wasn't sure what would happen if Grandmother found out about the few times she had already used it while here. Hopefully she wouldn't.

"I don't make a habit of poking into people's thoughts," she said idly, as she caught the tail end of the Huffie's worry about being around her before stopping herself and severing the connection. It was almost too weird now. But then he changed the subject back to chocolate, and her smile came back. "So I was getting some dark chocolate truffles and Chocolate frogs, but I hadn't decided if I should get some fudge too. What do you think?," she asked him, grateful that the focus could switch off of her for a while.

" I would love a box of cherry truffle" Jason ordered from the storekeeper.

Via allowed her best friend to settle in before they totally go back the cold street. Before she could even answer Daisy's question, just like her usual visits she grabbed packs of the chocolate frogs which had caught her eyes. "Chocolate frogs," she said trying to show her the boxes which was obvious. "I couldn't resist them." Vivianne loved chocolate soooo much.

Then her jaw dropped at the blood lollipops. "Eeewww," she said. "Wasn't that gross?" she said as she examined the first ever lollipops she had seen flavoured in blood. "I'm never going to taste that thing," she told her with a disgusted look on her face. As she tore off her eyes off the lollipops she turned again to Daisy. She remembered what she told her before they have entered the shop, that she would be buying treats for her. Vivianne noticed she was quite curious about the blood lollipops. "But do you like it? We can have some. But that would just be for you," she smiled.

"We'll be carrying one bag each when we leave this shop," she told her chortled. "The other one would be fille dwith packs of chocolate frog." It was fun to be there with Daisy... and for the first time,she was enjoying her Hogsmeade trip.

“I don’t know,” Daisy replied in response to Vivianne’s repulsion. “They look sorta interesting…” But was she willing to try one? Well… “Sure, I’ll try one.” She snagged an A+ one and then looked around the shop for some sugar quills.

“A bag each?” Well, that was a lot of candy, but seeing that Halloween was just around the corner, Daisy wasn’t going to complain. Especially when Vivianne was going to be the one buying. I should buy the butterbeers later at the Three Broomsticks. Well, that was, if the two girls had enough time to go there before heading back to the castle.

“If you like chocolate so much, you should try the truffles. Leander bought me a couple when he was at Hogwarts. They’re very good.” She led the way over to them pulling Vivianne by the cuff of her jumper.
