Them actually moving away from each other made Sylvia feel a little. It was like she was feeling sick for different reasons now. She felt kinda stupid actually, barging in and looking like she was about to barf on everyone. Someone had to hold her hair if that was the case.

Scooping her hair up and away from her eyes, if that would be any help, she smiled slightly. "I'm fine, really. Uuuh, I just ..." THINK OF SOMETHING! ".. Just a little travel sick. I hate trains." She looked down a little at Xander, who was kneeling beside her. Sylvia tried to giggle, as if it was all fun and silly that she hated trains. But she really did, with a passion.

"I ... uhh .. what a coincidence that I end up running in the compartment that you two ... are .. uhh ... occupying." Nice save, Sylvia. She straightened up, so that she wasn't leaning out of the window, and stayed in her seat opposite them both. "So ..." Awkward moments, she hated them. "What you up too?" She asked, her brain still swimming with ideas of what they could have been doing. Sylvia ignored Brody's attempt to see if anything was wrong, she would try and put the jealousy thing off for a while, and hopefully Brody hadn't seen anything.

"It's so nice to meet you too," Cordelia replied, growing less nervous as the minutes passed. "This is Mercury," she said, indicating her owl. "He's a gift from my parents for starting Hogwarts. I think they only let me get an owl because they want me to write them all the time. Probably not going to happen!"

"Do you have friends or family at Hogwarts?" she asked Sloane. "I don't really know anyone. Most of my friends are being home-schooled, but one actually went to Durmstrang! I couldn't imagine not wanting to go to Hogwarts. I've been waiting for this since my grandparents first told me about it!"

Ruby wandered onto the front of the train and sighed third year here i come she thought she heard the hustle and bustle of all the first years and students that knew each other, it was her own fault she hadn't really been sociable last year and now knew no-one.

Oh no. Sylvia wasn't happy. She frowned a little. Sylvia had ignored her! She had never been ignored by her BFF before, and it really hurt. She had only been playing around with Xander, it was nothing serious. Sylvia was really over reacting. "Sylvie?" She pouted, instantly moving from where she sat, and sitting next to her best friend. She didnt want to be up to be ignored!

She threw a look to Xander. Meh. Men. "Didn't your dad put that charm on you?" She asked, as she took her friends hand. She didnt want Sylvia to feel travel sick. That was not fun. Especially seeing as nice looking Xander with the cool hair was here.
"Sylvie....please don't ignore me." She smiled at her friend. Sylvia wouldn't be too jealous would she? Sylvia hadn't told her anything about liking Xander if she did like him. How was she meant to know?

A small scrawny redhead slunk onto the train, looking anything but excited. There didn't appear to be anyone on the platform watching him go and he didn't look back to wave goodbye to any of the parents. His attention was taken up by the train itself.

"Looks normal enough," Arrick murmured to himself as he walked the length of the train, "funny, that. If it were a magic school you'd think it'd ought to be somethin' real odd, like unicorns spewin' rainbows or magic carpets. Or sparkles."

He continued along the train, looking for somewhere to sit, all the while running his hand along the doorframes of compartments and around supports, as if making sure everything was as solid as it looked.

Alex was.. just sort of wandering really. She hadn't found a place to sit, or rather she hadn't found a place she wanted to sit. Her grey eyes scanned empty compartments, and she finally found one that was.. sorta to her liking.

She put her stiff down and sat down quietly by herself, leaning her blonde head against the window, looking out at the scenery rushing by. She was remembering the Goodbye scene with her sister and brothers earlier today. She had been in tears as she had hugged Ava and Josh goodbye. Her two closest friends, and she was going without them.

Perhaps next year Ava would be with her.. Perhaps.. She sighed and looked around.. content to mope for just a little bit longer. She knew she would make friends, and have a great year, but for now. She just wanted to be alone with her thought..

Unless a cute boy or Kel happened to peek his head in..

She perked up and that, and patted her head, to make sure her hair was in place.

Eeeeeep. He was caught in the middle of two BFF's. How awkward was this? Not to mention awesome, since like, they both thought he was cute. Wheeeee.

Back to the situation at hand. He watched Sylvia try to cover up her obvious discomfort, but he was not one to be fooled. He lived in a house full of girls and his dad - he would be a pro at this, oh yes.

"Well we'll leave the window open," he said. "So you can stick your head out of the window like a dog, if needed." He grinned, to let her know he was kidding. He watched Brody sit next to her, but he still remained in his kneeling position with his hand on Sylvia's knee. "I can get you something peppermint, if you'd like."

Ohhh geez. What was she thinking? Every time she paused, it made Xander worrymore. It was innocent, and anyway, Brody had instigated the entire thing. He could blame it on her! But that would be immature.

"Really, we were just getting settled," he said. "And getting excited for school like the nerds we are." Tooootal truth.

Raven headed onto the train, carrying her owl cage in one hand and a sketchbook in the other; this was the day she had been waiting for since she arrived in London and now that it was finally here she was filled with many emotions which all somehow cancelled each other out.

She walked down the corridor for a bit before finding a empty compartment, walking in and closing the door. This year was definately going to be interesting to say the least.

Well this was new. Kris had never taken a train to school before. New experiances all over the place in London apparently.

He stowed his baggage, and put Feuers cage in a compartment.

I'll be right back buddy he promised

Feuer just blinked and tucked his head under his beautiful, fiery wing.
He hated being even inches away from Kris. Ever.

Kris laughed, grabbed a few coins to get some candy, and strolled down the hall. He didn't see anyone he knew, but HEY! They had chocolate frogs!!!!!!

Yess!

Kris was already hyper thinking about all the sugar crammed in those charmed little pieces of heaven.

As he walked back towards his and Feuers compartment, he saw Drina sitting all by herself in a little compartment.

Hi Drina!

Alex raised her head as she heard one of her names being called, usually the one reserved for family, but that was not a family member calling her name.. That was Kris!!

"Kris!" Alex was off her seat in a minute and had bounded over to him a wide smile on her face. Yes she was happy to see him, but she needed someone to be around, since she missed her twin and brother.

"Hey, how are you? Where are you sitting? Want to be in here with me?" She asked him motioning to the empty compartment..

Hey! I'm so happy! THEYHAVECHOCOLATE FROGSS!!

He pulled one out of his pocket and waved it.

I LOVE THEM!

He laughed.

Sorry, I get excited when I have sugar. I'm sitting back a couple compartments. Come with me! I'd stay here with you but Feuer's already mad I left him alone to get my Frogs.

Alex burst into giggles.. "Is that all it takes to make boys happy? Chocolate Frogs? I shall have to remember that for future knowledge.." She said shaking her head.

She smiled as she grabbed her stuff, "Sounds good to me, I am not sitting with anyone at the moment.." She said looking at him curiously.. "Who or what is a Feuer's?" She asked narrowing her eyes a bit. She hoped it wasn't a snake or a spider, she hated those things..

"Yes, I had a sister who graduated two years ago...and a younger sister she is 5." Sloane shrugged, "I purchased an owl too, but my parents kept him to send my older sister a few messages." Her tone was rather bitter, "So they said they would send him to me in 'a while', however long that is." Crossing her arms over her chest she huffed, "I'm just glad to be away from them, and unfortunately no I don't know anyone going to Hogwarts...I kept older company at home...no friends my own age."

It was the very first day of Amber's Happiness.
She was overwhelmed and overjoyed, from the first time memories of walking toward that wall and descending into a magical place with the loud sounds of the Hogwarts Express, and yells and screams of joy from the mounts of children running to get a chair.

Amber was one of the first groups to make it into the Hogwarts express, she wasted no time outside.
She beckoned her mother and father with her, and she soon found a compartment in the front area which it was completely empty!
Giggling she ran and placed her trunk and owl softly on the chairs.

"Mum, Dad, I'm so nervous!" Amber said, eyeing the fabric of the compartment chairs, "I hope Acalia gets here soon."
Acalia was the Slytherin born child she had met in Diagon Alley, the day Amber had tried to take a Love Potion and had accidently made the girl fall to the floor in her nervous state.

"She will be here soon darling," her mother said reassuringly, hugging amber tight.
"We're leaving now then, i have to get to work, have fun in school and stay out of trouble." her father winked, kissing Amber's forehead and grabbing her mother's waist.

Amber decided to leave the compartment slide door opened in case Acalia came through the train.
She sat in her chair and waited patiently for her friend.

Kate grinned as she thought about her future life at Hogwarts, she was definitely excited. She replied, "I have been looking forward to today forever! I've read most most of my books, so I think I may have some of the spells down. They don't seem too complicated, but who knows! What about you? Ohh, and I really like your owl! What's its name?" Kate heaved her trunk onto a shelf, happy to have that load off her shoulders, and sar in the compartment, her owl Oliver hooting softly.

Haha no, but chocolate definately helps!

He smiled and stuffed another frog in his mouth.

Awesome! I wasn't sitting with anyone yet either. Well, exept Feuer.

And he's....Well you'll find out.

He smiled with a mischeivious glint in his eye.

Follow me. And he led her back to his compartment

"Well, that's not fair!" Cordelia exclaimed. "Not if it's really your owl." She paused and blushed. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said that; it's not my place."

"I don't have any sisters. Or brothers even. I'm an only child," Cordelia expained. "It's quite lonely, but I'm also sort of glad to get away from my family too. My great-grandfathers got into another fight at dinner last night. They always fight. And then my grandparents started fighting, and then it upset my parents. Ugh, it's always like that when everyone gets together. It's really annoying." She hesitated. "But look on the bright side," Cordelia said, "We know each other now! And if you want to send a letter to anyone, you can borrow Mercury if you like, until your owl gets here."

AAAAHH.

She was surrounded by people who were worried. There was no way out now, and Sylvia felt a little claustraphobic. She was glad that Xander had said that they could leave the window open, thought to be honest, she would have left it open even if it meant them leaving. Haha. "Thanks. I was going to leave it open even if you liked it or not though." Sylvia smirked at Xander, and gestured for him to go sit back down. He looked like a faithful dog kneeling infront of her. Or proposing. OH MERLIN.

"He did, but they're so mild, it's ridiculous." She shook her head and sighed, though liking the attention, even if it was a little claustraphobic. Sometimes, Sylvia didn't understand why her father bothered to stop her being travel sick. It was like a disease whenever she set foot on public transport, it was the reason why she never went on them.

"Peppermint? Ugh. No thanks." Did that work? Anyway, she was keen on peppermint either. Now strawberry? MMMMMM. Sylvia turned to Brody, who was now sat beside her, looking quite suprised. "Ignoring you? Hun, I'll never ignore you." She grinned. As Xander tried to explain himself and Brody, she frowned a little. Hadn't they passed that subject yet? Sigh.

"Oh. Ummm ...I ... " What to say? "... I didn't think anything of it." Sylvia smiled innocentely. It wasn't like she had a crush on him or anything. NO NO NO. He may have had edible hair and possibly the sweetest personality. But guys fancied HER, SHE didn't fancy guys! Hehehehe. "... just nerds. Of course." She giggled nervously.

The train was smaller than she imagnined.

That was the first thought that flitted through Arabelle's mind when she stepped through the barrier. Now that she was on it, more rationial thoughts invaded her consiousness.

This was her first year at Hogwarts, something she has been looking forward to for years. She was supposed to make friends, learn magic, have fun. All summer, Hogwarts was all she thought about. But now, on the train, she started to have doubts. What if Hogwarts wasn't all it was cracked up to be? What if she didn't like it?

A small shake of her head was all it took to rid herself of those thoughts. This will be a fun year. Nothing will change that and Arabelle was just being silly.

With a small smile on her face, Arabelle headed down the train, searching for an empty compartment.

Hogwarts here I come.

Theo had boarded the train, with much success. He had his trunk and his bat. Well Eddie was on his shoulder. He pulled his trunk behind him, as he tried to look for a seat. He needed one that had enough room for him and his trunk.

He found one, quite close to the Prefect's compartment. Actually it was right next door. Oh well he wouldn't get in trouble here. He put his trunk on the seat next to him. He dug into his trunk and searched for a book to read. He had packed that new potions one, but he didn't want to read that. Instead he chose his well worn copy of Blood Brothers: My Life Amongst the Vampires. He had read it many times over the holidays. He wondered what it would be like to be a vampire, and found them rather fascinating.

"I have tried a few, not prefected any though. I agree, they don't seem complicated, yet.."and with that Alexandra laughed. "Yes, this is my owl, her name is Wasabi. I know, it's kind of strange, but I really like wasabi. Your owl is nice too, what's it's name?" Alexandra got comfortable pulling her long legs up underneath herself after kicking off her shoes.

Sol the pygmy puff squeaking away on her shoulder, Kiri made her way through the Hogwarts Express, trying to find an empty compartment to sit in. As usual, she had a vague wish of finding Raiden somewhere, but so far, she had not been successful. In fact, Kiri hadn't even seen him on the platform - although she had been forced to be sneaky when looking for him so that her parents and aunt wouldn't notice.

With a grunt, she shoved open the connecting door between the first two carriages. The train was rattling deafeningly in the little space in-between. Sol gave distressed squeals until Kiri had managed to close the door behind her again. She sighed and shoved hair out of her face.

Walking slowly so she wouldn't constantly bump into the corridor walls whenever the carriage shook, she peered into each compartment, looking for either someone she knew or a completely empty one. Earlier, she'd picked up a curious piece of parchment - it looked like some sort of pamphlet or Ministry proclamation, but those had never been distributed on the train as far as Kiri knew, and she wanted to take a look at it.

Mina slowly worked her way toward the front of the train. It had been a long morning as is and she was looking forward to finding a compartment. The morning had started with her parents waking her early to see her oldest sister off to Uni. After breakfast they soon left her to her own while they tended to her other siblings. After a very quick farewell, she was left to cart her luggage through the barrier and store it.

Finally, coming a cross an empty once, she entered and settled in a seat beside the window. Setting her bag beside her, she pulled out her little beaded bag to pull some coins out. She was sure after some time she would be hungry again and wanted to be prepared for the tolley. Sliding the little bag back in to it's place, she pulled one of her favorite books out along with her new copy of The Art of Potion Making.

Looking out the window at the passing students, Mina smiled and finally felt at home. She had a feeling that things were going to be looking up for her this year. With a happy sigh, she opened her textbook and started reading up on her upcoming classes.

Xander sighed slightly. Seeing as how Sylvia was better, and she had motioned to him about something (he'd follow her orders ANY day), he decided to sit back down in his seat. At least now Brody and Sylvia were working it out. YAY.

His eyes flicked to the window, watching the train fly by the scenery of mountains and hills and that clear blue sky. Some things were hard to make out, but others were fine and obvious. He liked both of those girls - well, he didn't LIKE like Brody, but he diiiid have a crush on Sylvia - so he looked back to them, and ran a hand through his hair. Smooooth, oh yees. And shiny.

"I'm kind of hungry," he said, standing up. "Ladies, I'll be right back." He bowed as he walked out of the compartment. Bahahaha.

Once stepping into the hallway on his mission to the food compartment, he almost knocked over a small Asian girl that looked familiar. She was also had a paper that he had seen fly by the window of the compartment earlier - or it at least looked like the one he had seen earlier. Whatever it was, he was curious too.

Except with his last step, the train shook more than what he planned on it doing, and did fall into the girl.

"Eeeep!" he squeaked said. He grabbed onto the side of another compartment door to hold himself up, and gently grabbed the girls arm. "I'm sorry Kiri!" WOW, he remembered her name. How awkward would it be if she didn't remember his. Blushhh.

Alex smiled a little, "Chocolate help huh?" she asked as she arched a prefect eyebrow in his direction.Mental note to self, boys like chocolate.. hmmm This could come in handy.. She thought to herself as she smiled at Kris. "I will keep that in mind for future use.." She said a bit mysteriously as she followed him toward his compartment.

"Wait, what do you mean I will find out?" She asked stopping in her tracks. "If there is a spider or snake in your compartment, you will not see me again for the rest of this trip." She said her hand on her hips as she looked at him.

"Tell me.. now." Her grey eyes were wide.. as she stood her ground.
