Chris Potter walked down the hallway looking out the windows as he passed and checking out the potraits that hung along the walls. He wasn't really up to much, just walking the halls. He did that alot. He really loved the castle and tried to see as much of it as he could. He would just take long walks in it everyday if he could do it without missing his classes that he loved so much.

He walked along still thinking to himself.

Audio was walking down the hallways, his head up in the clouds as he just thought of his experiences at Hogwarts so far and all of the people that he met. He wasn't even real sure where he was or what he was doing, but walking around seemed like entertainment enough for himself. He pulled at his Slytherin tie, loosening it some more from his neck which caused him to loose grip on one of the four books that he was holding, making the one fall then the rest following suit.
"Awesome." he mumbled sarcastically.

A wizarding photograph in one hand and a balled up tissue in another, LouAnn Purple walked up and down the corridors of the castle. She sniffled a little, then stopped to dry her eyes with the same piece of tissue she'd had in her hands for the past half hour. Seeing two boys up ahead, LouAnn stopped and quickly finished drying her eyes. She hadn't meant for anyone to actually see her cry. As she walked closer to the boys, she realized that one of them was Chris, the male Gryffindor prefect. The other boy was someone she didn't actually know at all.

"Chris! Hey!" she called out, stopping just beside him. "Boy, am I glad to see you! I've seen far too many unfamiliar faces for today!" When the other boy, a Slytherin she saw, dropped the armload of books he'd been carrying, LouAnn turned her attention to him instead. "Here, I'll help you," she said to him, and bent down to pick up a few of the fallen books. "I'm LouAnn Purple, a fifth year."

He grabbed a few, not addressing her until he stood up and took the books from her that she picked up. He let out a short laugh, "Thanks... I'm Audio." he said with a curt nod, smiling a bit. "I'm a sixth year." he added, noting the Gryffindor robes and the red eyes. His eyebrows pulled together a bit, curious as to why she was crying.

LouAnn nodded in reply when the boy, Audio he'd addressed himself as, thanked her for retrieving his books. "Audio---cool name," she said, as if she had room to speak with a last name like Purple. Hogwarts surely wasn't short on fifth and sixth years, as everyone LouAnn seemed to meet came from one of the two age groups. "Oh, a sixth year! Are you new here, or have you always gone to school at Hogwarts?" she asked. "This is my first time here. I was home-schooled before this, and before that, I lived in another country." She picked up on the expression on his face and quickly tossed her balled-up tissue into a nearby bin. "So, what brings you to the fifth floor corridor today?"

Chris turned his eyes from the window as two things happened at once. He heard his name being called by a familiar voice and then a crash of something hitting the floor. First he turned to see who had called him and smiled brightly when he saw LouAnn Purple. He hadn't seen her in a while and could use some company, and then he saw that she must've ben upset recently and she could use the company too. "Hey LouAnn, How are you? You just caught me wondering the castle in my own little world." he laughed. "Isn't it just fantastic here?" he said gesturing to the castle as a whole.

He then turned to help the sorce of the other noise, a boy dropping his books, but LouAnn had beat him to it. He saw that LouAnn had introduced herself and he thought he would do the same. "Hello, Im Chris Potter." he said with a friendly smile.

"Yeah- I'm actually new. I was home schooled before by my mum and dad. And uh..." he let out a short laugh, scratching the back of his head. "I don't really know why I'm here. I was climbing the stairs when they changed on me and I just... went with it. I need to get to know the grounds anyway." he said with a nod.

He turned to Chris and nodded, "Audio" he introduced himself as he outstretched his hand for a shake towards the guy.

"Wandering the castle in your own little world, hmm? I've heard that could be dangerous here at Hogwarts. You never know what might be lurking around the corners. It could be someone like...me," she joked. "Oh, I'm doing alright. I've been better, but I've been worse, too. How are you?" She nodded and glanced around the fifth floor corridor. Chris was right. The school was every bit as amazing as she'd almost dreamt it would be. There were mysteries and wonders everywhere she looked, and she still hadn't exactly figured out how to walk around without getting lost. "You're right. It is fantastic. I'm just sad that it won't last for me, you know. It's almost unfair."

"Oh, well then you and I have something in common," she said, turning back to Audio when he answered her question. "I've been home-schooled for the past two years, but I went to a different school just before that. It's sort of difficult going from being home-schooled to a place like Hogwarts. I've had a little bit of a hard time fitting in and finding my place here, you see." She blinked when Audio mentioned changing stairs. "Ohh, I remember being told about those stairs! Could you take me there? I've always wanted to see them!" The cure to being down in the dumps over not fitting in was being shown something that would completely take her breath away---the changing stairs, for example.

He smiled to her, the way she got excited over the stairs amused him a bit. "Yeah- sure, they're kinda hard to miss- you probably took them and didn't even know it. I've been here for almost a week and today was the first day they actually moved on me."

Chris smiled at shook Audio's hand. "Nice to meet you Audio." he then listened as he told LouAnn he was homeschooled.

Chris chuckled. "Well you've hear right. Once I was just walkin gthrough the castle one night and I was planning on going up to the Common room and ended up in the Astronomy Tower." he smiled.

Chris listened as LouAnn said she had been worse but that she was ok. "Well I'm glad you are ok. I'm good. Just excited to be back. Plus the start of classes is always fun. Some people may think its weird but I love classes and the homework."

Chris smiled sadly at LouAnn, "It is kinda unfair that you get to spend so little time here. But don't worry we will try to make it the best few years of yoiur life!" he said excitedly.

"Oh, really? Well that's...cool...or odd, maybe that I completely missed them," she replied. It was so LouAnn to have gone looking for something only to have found it and not realized it. "I'm so lost around here that I barely even remember how I ended up here on the---this is the fifth floor, right?" Eventually, LouAnn was going to have to find her way around. She couldn't necessarily spend the next two years wandering out without a clue as to whether she was in the dungeons or the Astronomy Tower.

LouAnn nodded when Chris mentioned trying to get to the Common Room and ending up in the Astronomy Tower instead. "I was just thinking that was something I'll probably end up doing at some point. Hopefully I'll find my way around soon, though, and I won't have to worry about that."

"I'm okay, but not all that great, either. I'm having a hard time fitting in, Chris," she said, revealing the reason she'd had red eyes and a balled up tissue in her hand when she'd first arrived. "I mean, I'm making friends, but no one really considers me part of their group of friends. I always feel like the odd one out." She shrugged, still figuring it was just because she was the new kid and all. "I don't doubt everyone will help me make these next two years the best ones of my life, though! Thanks, Chris!"

Arianna walked down the corridor distractedly. She had two dung bombs in her inside pocket and was itching to use them. She could see a few students there, though she didn't know who they were. She tried to take a look at their robes looking for badges or anything, but since they were talking to each other, they were also blocking her view. She sighed with her fingers crossed - pleaase, let them not be someone important. Then she reached for one of her dung bombs and held it tightly on her hand while she passed by them.


As she reached the end of the corridor, she touched it with her wand and she made is slide to the ground, it had a retarding system so, 5 minutes and the smell would be so strong, all the students in that area would have to go away.

She chuckled a little and ran downstairs.

A few minutes later, when neither boy had said much more, LouAnn shifted her weight from one side to the other, a nervous habit she'd picked up over the years. She started to just tell them she'd see them around, when a strong smell made its way through the corridors. LouAnn wrinkled her nose and coughed, nearly puking at the disgusting change in the air.

"Uh...ummm...ewww," she said, flailing about for a second before literally taking off down the hallways. "Dungbombs!!! Ruuunnnn!!!" She hurried off in the opposite direction, calling out to the two boys over her shoulder. She was telling them that she'd see them around some other time, but she doubted seriously that they heard her. She was around the corner and off to the moving stairs in no time.

Chris sniffed and smelled something horrible. Before he could turn to ask LouAnn what she thought it could be he saw her take off down the hall. Screaming that she would see them later and that it was a...

DUNGBOMB!

"Oh Crap!" he covered his nose with the sleeve of his robes and thought. Who dropped a dung bomb. Was it that girl who had walked by a while ago? He didn't get a look at her face. He frowned and walked towards the foul object and pulled out his wand. He would have to talk to LouAnn and Audio later.

"Wingardium Leviosa." he levitated it into the air and arm still covering his nose trudged off to dispose of it. Prefect duties at their finest. *sigh*

Raven headed up to the fifth floor corridor and looked around to make sure that no one else was around, she took a seat near the wall and grabbed her wand from her robes then muttered a spell and noticed a snake appear on the floor, she watched it carefully, making sure it didn't stray too far.

Cedric had passed the fifth floor corridor, he noticed that someone was sitting near the wall with a slythering snake. He turned as he saw a familiar face, its his cousin, right. He looked around if other than he and the girl on the wall was there. He ran towards the girl. He's right, the girl was Raven. He missed her, very. "Hey Raven!" Cedric shouted as he grinned at her. Then he noticed that the snake was still at the floor. He has no problems with snake cause he's not afraid of them.

Raven made the snake disappear when she hear Cedric's voice, she missed her cousin so much, it had been ages since she last saw him. She got up off the floor and walked over, giving him a hug. "Hey Ced, its been a while." She said, then put her hands in her pockets.

Cedric smiled as Raven hugged him. He had missed her, its like they haven't seen each other in ages. He's sure that Raven has so many interesting things to told him. And he was wondering if they could go out cause its quite hot at the corridor. "Yeah, I missed you." answered Cedric as he hugged Raven back. He feels so awkward when he hug a girl but not when he hugs Raven because its like Raven is his Mummy and of course, Raven is his cousin.

"So how have things been since the last time I saw you?" Raven asked curiously, taking a seat once again on the floor and leaning against the wall. She wanted to know if her cousin had been in any trouble since she last was around because she'd have to talk to him about that even though she wasn't the best role model in the world.

Nathaniel had no IDEA how he had ended up in the fifth floor corridor. As usual the boy wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. Typical Nate. He was preoccupied with the events that had unfolded. He was going to have to write to his grandparents and Freya. He strolled along the corridor with a grin on his face.

Heading down the corridor, he was looking for Sylvia. He had a cake to give her and figured that he might look a bit foolish carrying it around the school like this. And what if someone decided that they wanted to eat the thing?

It did look pretty damn good though. So good that he found himself staring at it. YUMMY. Strawberries.

Nate spotted Torin.. with a cake. YUMMMMM. "Hey Torin!" he called to the older boy. He had a guess who that cake was for. He raised his eyebrows as he approached Torin "Is that cake for your bunny lover?" he asked him with a grin. He couldn't help but laugh a little.

He was just contemplating stealing a bit of cake and making it look like he hadn't when suddenly he heard someone calling to him. Looking up, he saw that it was Nate. "Oh, hey!" he replied now smiling. But it quickly turned into a frown on that next comment. "Nope. This is actually for Sylvia. Have you managed to ask your girl out yet?" He hoped that he wouldn't have to call Nate a chicken.

Nathaniel didn't mean to make Torin mad. "Why the frown? I was just kidding with you bro." he said to the older guy. After all Torin was the one holding a cake that he could EASILY throw on Nate. He pushed his hair out of his face. His girl? Nate didn't own anyone. "As a matter of fact I have spoken to Mariel about that matter." he said blushing and grinning.
