Blake was bored for the first time at Hogwarts in a month. This castle was always up to something fun and crazy. However, today was one slooooow day, sigh. After having a niiice dinner, Blake was walking back to the common room when he noticed a smalllish door and his curiosity kicked in. What's that? he thought, skipping towards it and knocked exactly 3 times, just in case....

He tried to open the door but it was jammed. Oh poo. Glancing around warily, Blake attempted to burst the door with his shoulders. 1..2...3 and %#5^6&*

The door swung open as he slammed into it, losing control and falling on the floor of the room. YOUCH! It did hurt but thankfully he wasn't bruised. Getting back on his feet, he eyeballed the room. Bwaha, it was a BROOK CUPBOARD! Slapping the back of his head, he bent down and grabbed an old broom and started to sweep the floor, slightly bouncing as he did.

'What was that?' Lyra thought to herself as she heard a loud banging noise coming from the corner. Slowly, she walked over to find a cupboard. That's odd..Lyra was sure she had never been there before. Curiousity taking over, Lyra cautiously walked over towards the door and caught the sight of a boy.......sweeping the floor?! "eeh..what on earth are you doing?"
But then she saw that it was Blake. Ok this was reeeeaaaaaaaaly odd! Not some time ago she had had a fight in the common room with a girl named Shana about Evan and it had somehow turned in to a fight about Blake. Hmpf, the girl obviously has a crush on him, the way she shouted at me for stupifying Blake in the Arena.

"Hey Blake.." she said feeling very uncomfortable but she stepped in to the cupboard all the same, not wanting to show that she felt...confused? scared? nah not scared..uncomfortable was the perfect mood.

"I beeelieve I caaan flyyyyy.." Blake sang with eyes closed as he swept the cupboard, rather seriously. Future Sweeper? errr NO!

He came out of his weird mode, when he thought he heard a vooiiice. Who's voice? Let's turn around and check it out. Beaaaam. Blake gleamed with joy when he found that Lyra was standing right behind him with a very...confused expression. Instantly, he dropped the broom on the floor and smiled. Hooow odd, was she watching him sweep the floor? Did it make him look handsome? Not like he needed it, he was already handsome, mwwaaah.

Smiling again, Blake slipped one hand in his pockets and waved at her with the other one, "Uh, this room was rather dirty so I thought 'bout cleaning....it." He muttered and glanced down at his shoes. "Hi Lyrieee and umm I won't clean it any further..if you don't want me to." Oh he reaaaally wanted to clean the room. He tilted his head and looked behind Lyra, where was Evan? The two of them were together as if they were joined by the hip, "Where's he?" Blake asked, winking at her.

The Slytherin's expression went from confusion in to amusement. It was pretty funny watching Blake sweep the floor, especially when he had dropped the broom on the floor after he had found out that Lyra was standing in the doorway.

"Uh, Blake i wanted to apologise about what happened in the..you know..dueling arena" she said in a small voice and looked down at her feet, fumbling a tiny piece of her grey school skirt with her fingers. Wow that wasn't so bad! 'ok 1 done, 1 to go' she thought to herself as she thought about that stupid girl , Shana. 'mweeeh i don't wanna apologise to her!'

He? Lyra looked confused again and raised a eyebrow at Blake when he tried to look past her. He didn't mean Evan right? Well duh, of course he did. Blushing heavily as the thoughts came together, Lyra cleared her throat and grabbed a broom, pushing it in Blake's hands. "oh just go clean" she said, grinning broadly.

Evan was busy with watching the hourglasses, and he didn't see Blake talking to Lyra, nor did he hear anything. As he had never saw anything fascinating like this before, he was obviously fascinated and forgot about the cupboard for a moment, before he heard Lyra saying go clean to someone. Looking around, he saw Blake and grinned. Although he had a bad past with the guy, they could always start over, right? He walked towards them and asked "How are you?" to Blake. This was not something of him, but recent events had changed his point of view to people. He was actually getting less... arrogant.

Blake leaned against a wall absentmindedly and knocked a few buckets around which fell on the ground with a loud clatter. Whoops, what the hell? If he continued to act so clueless, Lyrieee will freak out or something. His eyebrows raised when he heard what the younger girl had to say. She was...sorry! Umm, this was kinda hard to digest. He never thought someone would ever apologize to him and Lyra was like the third person to do so. Sucking his bottom lip, Blake nodded his head, "Tiiss okay Lyriee but don't you do that again and i'll try and refrain from disturbing you during duels." He ended with a light chuckle.

His half smiled turned into a full grin when she said he could clean. Ah! Lyra was in a good mood, eh? Or maybe she was just trying to be nice after she stunned him? Whatever the reason, she was sweet awww. Picking up the broom again, he was about to sweep when Evan joined them. Blake scoffed a little but greeted him with a huuuge grin. Oh remember, he predicted that these two will end up together liiaaak totally in love by the end of their seventh year? He is riiight, just wait and watch the drama unfolds between them in the coming terms.

"Hiiii Evaaan and I'm doing good." He bit his lower lip. Whaaaa, everyone was sweet to him today, yay! Smiling, he obliviously slipped his hand in his right pocket and O_o

The runes bag was in there and he had forgotten about the Ancient Runes homework....again! But no worries, he had not one but two partners for this and they'll work together. "Do you guys err feel like doing the ancient runes homework..with me? oh I'll totally understand if you don't want to since the two of you are liiaaaak omg and lufffyy and all..." He asked, muttering the part about how they were in love etc.

Lyra giggled when Blake leaned against the wall and there was a loud clang when he knocked over a few things. She looked up from the ground and saw that some buckets were rolling on the ground. Lyra looked a bit surprise that Blake excepted her apology but was actually glad at the same time. Hopefully the apology to Shana would be just as easy as it was with Blake, but a little voice in her head said that it wasn't going to be so easy. "I can't promise that i won't do it again" she said with a smirk and picked up one of the empty buckets and turned it around to sit on it.

Lyra watched in amusement again when Blake had happily accepted the broom from her to sweep the floor. This guy was crazy, but in a good way. "You know, i always wonder why you are in Slytherin, i mean i think your more a Hufflepuff..no offence though" she quickly added in case she said something wrong.

Gasping loudly as the voice of Evan came from behind her, Lyra spun around with her head a little too fast making her neck ache. "ouch!" she said and held her hand on her neck. "Decided to show up huh? where were you?" she asked while rubbing her neck with her hand. Lyra turned around again to face Blake when he had offered to do the Ancient Runes homework. "yes!" Lyra immediately said surprised by her own voice. "eh.. i mean, i'm horrible at the subject so..." she made a 'ahem' sound and then folded her arms over each other when Blake started to mutter something. She couldn't really hear it but a few words caught her ears. luffy..that was love right..and you two..that meant Evan and her no doubt about it. Lyra turned around to smirk at Evan.

Putting the broom down, Blake sat on the floor and folded his legs. He glanced at Lyra who was sitting on a bucket, hehe. Smiling, he gestured her to sit down on the floor with him, "We'll sit in a triangle okay? And don't worry, I just swept the floor so it's clean & dust free." With a light nod, Blake took out the runes bag from his pocket and placed it amidst the triangle.

Him being a Slytherin was beyond his wits. The school hat must be wrong this time. Even Lyra thought of him as a Hufflepuff but his mum was sooooo sure that he would end up being a Slytherin, scarrry. "I knoooow. I always thought I would be a puffie, guess the old school hat has officially messed up for the first time in liiaaak thousand of years." Rolling his eyes, he caught the smirk tugging at the end of Lyra's lips as she glanced at Evan. Snickering, Blake shot a look at Evan, "Evan do you have the procedure on rune reading Orr do you know how we do it?" He asked, looking at the other Slytherin boy, who was still standing at the door. Blake motioned him to sit with them too. "I know the whole deal, does anyone wants me to explain? Annnd don't worry Lyra, I'm not good at Ancient Runes either. It makes my hair stand."Chuckling, he shuffled the runes bag and repeated the whole process mentally.

Lyra smiled back when Blake gestured for her to sit down on the floor. He had a point about the floor being clean now. It wasn't that she was afraid of the dust and dirt on the floor, she was not a girly girl but she had found the bucket more comfortable. But still the second year shoved off the bucket and sat on the floor in front of Blake. She also folded her legs and watched how he took out the rune bag to place it in the middle.

"i'm sure the Sorting Hat has seen something in your mind that even you haven't discovered yet." eeeh wha?! ok that was stupid. Giving a little cough, Lyra was happy that Blake had turned his attention towards Evan.

When Blake said he wasn't good at Ancient Runes either Lyra panicked slightly. What if Evan didn't know either? how could they do their homework? She turned around and also motioned for Evan to sit with them, holding her fingers crossed with her other hand, hoping that he would know what to do.
"You know, i can't believe our new Head of House is a werewolf" she said as she thought about the Ancient Runes homework. "i miss Forrester...anyway lets begin"

Okaaay, Blake was like praying hard for Evan to sat next to Lyra, hehe. He didn't want to ruin their cupboard date. Turning his attention to Lyra as she spoke, he frowned. How can an old battered hat know him better than himself? Urgh, this was confusing but she might be right, "Hmm I seee, that could've been the reason." He said thoughtfully and took out the runes out of the bag, counting them one by one in case he misplaced any of them.

Blake flinched a little when Lyra mentioned Professor Lupa as a werewolf. He shook his head lightly. The poor teacher was going through so much, students were disrespecting her and it was making Blake rather angry. He had a lot of sympathy for the werewolf community and Professor Lupa. She was one dynamic Professor who pushed her students to get involved in the class and even BLAKE answered a few questions correct. "Ummhmm, I know but she's awesome and the most sweetest teacher at Hogwarts. I adore her." He said in a proud tone, why should he be afraid of showing his support towards a WEREWOLF.

"Anyways..we'll begin once Evan comes out of his trance." Chuckling, he scooped the runes in his hand and filled them back in the bag and waited patiently for Evan to join them.

Lyra groaned slightly, why did she had to say that? she actually liked the professor too. "Yea your right, i like her too but i hate the subject itself" she said laughing a bit and had a bit of admiration towards Blake for supporting the professor in this difficult time now that alot of students loathed her. Lyra had liked the woman last year but that changed a bit when she had turned in to a Werewolf. "But i haven't forgotten what had happened at the Assembly last year" she said. Mweh why had the professors placed the first years at the front? Lyra had a slight trauma now after seeing the werewolf attack their headmaster.

Sighing, Lyra stood up from her place and stepped over the bucket to stand in front of Evan. She slightly tilted her head to the right and snapped with her fingers in front of his eyes. "Oi, wake up" she said grinning before walking back to Blake again and sat down on the floor.

Evan was glad that Lyra had apologised from Blake. He should have known not to distrub Lyra in the middle of a duel either, but still, Lyra should apologise too. Now that the case was solved, he happily smiled them and listened some more without any comments.

It was quite obvious that Blake was "greeaat". Evan chuckled at the boy, he was awesomely cool and cheerful. Evan wished he was like him either, but not everyone was lucky. The blondie was rather cold, shy and arrogant. Like he raised his eyebrows when Blake suggested studying in a cupboard. He looked very suspicious now, and asked "We'll just go to the library, right?" Seriously, studying in a cupboard? No thanks.

He blushed at Blake, it was true that they were luffy... sort of. To hide his blush, he turned back and looked to the both sides, as if he was looking for something. Then he shrugged, and finished his acting with "I thought someone was coming... whatever." Hehe, hopefully no one would catch him blushing. He just didn't want anyone to know that they had both told they loved each other. Not yet. He wasn't afraid that Blake'd tell it to someone or anything, but he'd make fun of them, and Evan wasn't up to any sort of mockery.

Now that Lyra had asked... seriously, how was Blake a Slytherin? He should have been a Gryffindor or something, totally NOT a snake. Odd... He shrugged, probably the Hat knew something.

He smiled to both of them, and said "I think I understand." That was very modest, he knew well. But he didn't have to show off here, he was with his friends. He was about to talk about the homework when his currently worst dream became true: they'd do it here.

"Err, guys..?" Nervous chuckle. "They are some more appropriate places, like our wonderfully CLEAN library..." He glanced suspiciously at the cupboard. No, Evan Cartwright would NOT go in there. It was horrible, it was dirty and who-knew-what was there! Best-case scenario was spiders, and his mother would always tell him stories about monsters living in filthy cupboards, which was described like this. He looked in disbelief, THEY WERE SITTING ON THE FLOOR! Totally oblivious to their exchange while trying hard to stay calm, he asked "Why-don't-we-just-go-some-where-else?" in a small voice. Yes, he'd stay outside.

Lyra raised an eyebrow while looking at Evan and then gave a small laugh.
She had liked the idea actually to do their homework in the cupboard, it was something different than the study tables in the Common Room or the other tables in the Library. But still, Evan did had a point. It was better sitting in the Library on comfortable chairs than on the cold floor in a cupboard.

Lyra nodded her head looked at Blake. "i think the girl..eh i mean Evan" she giggled "is right. Let's go somewhere warm and less filthy" and with that she stood up from the place she was sitting and held her hand out to help Blake getting up too. If he wasn't stubborn enough to stay down in this non-clean board.

Evan didn't care if he was laughed at or not, he was just NOT spending some time, probably more than an hour, in that filthy, horrible, small, scary cupboard. He laughed at Lyra's joke, maybe he was a bit girly, but still they knew he was right on this too. He looked at Blake almost begging and expectantly, holding his hand out too. He wondered if his hands touched the floor, but he didn't care. His priority was to be away.

Blake pouted. They didn't want to do the homework here? NUUUU! The Library was his least favorite place at the school and it was always so damn crowded. He's not going there nuhuh! Folding his arms across his chest Blake shook his head, "Oh c'mon, it's not that bad here! I'm finding this place sooo relaxing as compared to the Library." He said looking at the two of them with a pleading look.

He must make them stay back and do the reading HERE. Scratching his chin with eyes narrowed, an idea popped in his head. Hmmm it seemed that the dust and dirt of the broom cupboard was bugging them. Smiling, Blake slipped out of his black school robe and spread it on the floor. "Noow see? You guys can sit on it and ohhh wait." He pointed at the floor which was now covered with his new black robes, sigh. Reaching for his bag, he pulled out a deodorant and sprayed it. sniff.sniff. ahhh. A very nice fragrance filled the room, smelling A LOT better than before. Pouting, Blake looked at the two of them, "Pweeeaseee can we stay? pweety pweasee?" Aww he looked so cute, Lyra and Evan should stay with him ,shouldn't they?

Lyra looked at Evan for a second and then back at Blake, seeing his robe on the ground. Heh he really wanted to do homework in here? "aww can i keep him puweaaase" she jokely begged Evan while pointing at Blake and then laughed.

When Blake used his deodorant , Lyra started to cough a bit. She held her hand in front of her mouth and eyed Blake in a what-the-hell? way. Why did he had to use deo in a cupboard? besides it was a male deo and they always smelled bad compared to the female ones..uhuh.

Lyra turned to Evan with a small grin on her face. "so what do you think, personally i don't mind doing homework here and i also don't mind doing homework in the library so ...yea i don't care"

Now Evan got why Lyra had hexed Blake. Because he liked things normal people wouldn't like, and right now Evan too wanted to hex him so badly. Why couldn't he see the obvious fact that these kind of places were the houses of some rare and poisonous insects? And in Evan's book, studying with wand lights amongst the bugs were NOT relaxing at all. And it was that bad.

He dropped his hand and watched Blake intrigued. He did not just spread his SCHOOL ROBES ON THAT FLOOR! Evan's expression was so horrified and disguested that his good-looking face had turned into an ungly one, and that told something! He couldn't speak for a moment of digesting the unhealthy things he was seeing. See, if they had gone to the library, Blake would never have to get his robes dirty but nooo, he was more "relaxed" here. Eye roll. HE, could be relaxed but Evan was NOT.

Taking a hesitant step in the cupboard, he examined everywhere too see something convincing enough to leave, but darn, there were nothing as far as he could he. He hardly held himself not to snort and roll his eyes at Lyra, and barely controlling his snort at Blake's cute face, he pulled a bucket and sat on that, right next to the door. If something happened, it was all Blake's fault and Evan'd be the first to run away and never turn back go and turn back with reinforces. And meanwhile, he would try his best to be as away from the "threats" as possible, which meant he was not going to sit down in an defenceless position.

He turned back at both and waited for them, especially Blake, to start. Working here was his idea, after all. He took a mental note to get his parfume's name after surviving this, if they could.

Blake clapped happily as the two of them agreed on staying but he scowled lightly when Evan decided to sit on the bucket rather than the floor. God Evan was a truueeee Slytherin, he the bad attitude and -ahem- the looks too. Smiling at them, Blake scooted forward and pulled Lyra and Evan into one big bear family hug. He liiiikes huggies.

"Thankooo you sweets." He thanked, acknowledging what they just did for his sake. Letting go of them, didn't want to break there ribs, hehe Blake kissed them on both of their cheeks and leaned back to his position.

"Nooow, lets get the paartty started." Blake rubbed his hands together and began to explain what they had to do, "First, think of a question you want an answer of and tell it to the person who'll be doing the reading for you." He said with a smile and continued, "Then, keep thinking about your question and pull out 3 runes from the bag, placing them right to left in the order you took them out." Okaay, he wasn't doing so bad, hopefully they'll understand what he was on about. Clapping his hands, Blake smiled, "Sooo who's going first?" If they wanted, he'll gladly be the first one, he really wanted to get the answers about his past, present and fuuuuuture.

"Blake--can't catch--my --breath......" Lyra gasped when Blake had decided to hug them tightly.. yea he was really a hufflepuff. Glad that the akward hug was over, Lyra had absolutely not have thought that Blake was capable to kiss people on the cheeks just like that. Ok maybe she did.. but it still caught her off guard.

Blushing fiercely, Lyra stared blankly in front of her. Watching the brooms behind Blake but didn't really saw them. The younger student touched her right cheek with her hand and continued to stare. No one had kissed her on the cheek before! not even Evan and she liked him and he liked her too..sort off because he also liked another girl..Fallon hmpf.

Snapping out of her trance when she heard Blake's voice in the distance, Lyra looked at him with a blank expression at first. "Eh wha?" she said but then her mind started to work again and she understood why they were in a filthy cupboard. Homework, right. Lyra listened to Blake and assumed that he was right about the procedure of how to use the stones. Lyra sat down on the floor again, she wasn't a sissy like Evan. "you can begin if you want to, i just watch first" she said to Blake

Evan couldn't help but raise his eyebrow, with a look like "Is he alright?" when Blake clapped. Seriously who would want to study here? No light, no cleanliness, no anything. Evan opened his mouth one last time to object when--

He gasped put loud. What was that tight hug for? He tried to get out, he didn't like much physical touch, and Blake finally let go of them. He was prepared to stare blankly when he got a kiss. He was now literally looking blanky. No one besides relatives had kissed him before, for he always tried to put a few meters between people. It felt... wet and good. He grinned, he actually could bear a few frightening hours for this nice guy's sake. He then looked at Lyra who was also in trance. Hmpf. He hadn't kissed him too. A big flaw in their awkward relationship. But there wasn't really a place for such romance, and they were just twelve. Yeah, he was right on that.

Chuckling at Lyra, he answered Blake. "I can go first, or if you want to..." Trail off to show he left the choice to them. Oh, Lyra didn't want to be the first one. No wonder why, she was still trying to get out of Blake-sendrome.

Blinking at Lyra and Evan for a few moments, Blake couldn't help but griiiin. Uh, his kisses were so...captivating? He didn't know this before. Shrugging he smiled as they both spoke almost at the same time. So Lyra didn't want to go first but Evan did, okaaay no problem.

Folding his arms again, Blake turned to Lyra, "Umm Lyra, why don't YOU interpret and read the runes for Evan? Theeeen I'll do it for you and Evan for me." Hmmm, he's so anxious for this to get started, WEEEE! B-but...where was the textbook? How will they know the meanings of each rune? "Do you have the ancient runes textbook? We might need it during analyzing the runes." He said rummaging through his own bag.

While sifting through his bag, another point popped up in his head, "One more thing, the first rune you pull out is for the past, second for the present and third for the future." If he was in charge, he must make sure that everything was clear.

Evan nodded as he listened to Blake. What he said was a really good idea. He was thinking about a question to ask when Blake reminded them textbooks. He didn't even have his bag with him. He sighed. "I have nothing with me." he said. "But I remember some of them. Do you want me to go and fetch?"

Blake glanced at Lyra, hopefully she'll have the book, "Oh pleasee Lyrieee say that you have the book." He said, pleadingly looking at her.

Turning his attention back to Evan, Blake chucked the runes bag at him, "At least let's get this started. Evan you know the procedure, go ahead take out the runes one by one." He looked at him intently. Lyra was going to interpret the meanings for Evan but he was more eager to hear his question.

Nataly was returning from Hogsmeade, a bag of sweets in her hand. She finally tasted butterbeer! And it was worth it. But the accident in the Three Broomsticks.. she flushed at the memory.
She was walking on the ground floor, when she heard a strange noise from one of the doors near her. She got closed to it, curious. The strange noises were coming from inside the door.
Nataly didn't know what was there, so she opened the door, revealing a broom cupboard with three teenagers in it. One of them was Lyra, and another two boys she only saw on lessons.
"Erm...Am I interruping something?" she asked them, embrassed. Her cheeks turned bright pink.
