Clifford wasn't really sure of where it was he was going. It was weird not having a Common Room. Where was he meant to go when he wanted to eat all his chocolate in a nice, comfortable environment? Well, that was if he had any chocolate left anyway.. which he higly doubted. When the Professor's managed to drain out that horrible flood, all the snacks and treats he had hidden under his bed were bound to be RUINED. It was sad. And it made Clifford kind of depressed. Siiiigh.
How he'd found his way into the trophy room, the Head Boy wasn't entirely sure. Ah well, may as well have a peek around while he was here, huh? Maybe he'd find something with his father's name on it.. or maybe Warren's!
Footsteps quiet, the seventh year made his way to the cabinet hiding Slytherin trophies and proceeded to press his nose against the glass. Ooooh, shiny. This place would be niffler heaven.

After having spent a considerable amount of time wandering around the grounds by herself and trying to not think, Willow had found herself wandering back to the castles, without having an especific place in her mind to visit.
Not to the Ravenclaw common room, that was for sure; the place was bound to be full of annoying little brats with nothing to do other than run around and create mayhem. And the library would not do either - it was just far too quiet for her own good, and Willow had to admit that the gigantic place with all its tall shelves packed with books, made her feel a little bit claustophobic.
So as she wandered around the third floor corridor, the sixth year found herself turning on the knob of the trophey room and stepping inside the room. Nothing wrong with check out old trophies, right? It would be a good distraction, and it would not let her brood about other matters that were lurking in the very back of her head.
Except just staring at the trophies was not going to happen. The place, as she had been expecting it to be, was not empty - but at least it was not crowded either. It was just Clifford Carden.
Clifford Carden who had deliberately set his mouse free during Transfiguration. But Willow was far from being in the mood to demand him was his problem was, or to simply tell him to get out of the trophy room because she wanted to be alone.

The glass in front of the display was getting all icky and misty due to his breathing on it, and Clifford used the sleeve of his robes to wipe it clean again. Well, they weren't actually HIS robes. He didn't own any robes anymore. Nope, these robes were far too small. Judging by the smell of them too, they'd been someone's Herbology work robes. Dragon manure. Ick.
Being homeless really did SUCK.
As did being crept up on.
Clifford jumped when he heard someone saying his name, and due to his close proximity with the glass ended up hitting his forehead. Ouch. "Did noone ever tell you that sneaking up on people is considered rude?" The Head Boy frowned, rubbing his head and looking at the intruder. Uh oh. "Willow.." Gulp.
