Irial Darkk wandered into the Torture Chamber and looked around appreciatively. Interesting. He looked at all the devices littered around the room. Glancing at his brother, who'd followed him in, he smirked.

"This ought to be interesting," he said. "Let's see who cracks first, little brother." He raised his arms over his head and laced his fingers behind his head, waiting for the professor to show up.

Ari wonder just behind his brother. He had to admit the room was true to its name. This certainly was going to be very interesting. Catching his brothers glance he laughed, a smirk curling at the corner of his mouth. "Fine with me big bro," he replied. His eyes falling on the suit of armor as he looked around. Eying everything in the chamber while they waited for the professor. "Let make it a bit more interesting. How does ten galleons sound? Loser pays up."

Irial grinned. "Alright. Ten Galleons, and...you clean up after me for a week. How about that?" He lightly punched his brother on the arm, looking around once more. "But we've got to make it through both detentions without cracking. Who knows what the old geezer'll have planned for us when we're finished with this one."

He touched one of the devices...chains...and smiled. This was certainly going to be interesting.

Professor Lawson leaned up against the doorway of the torture room and watched the boys with interest for a moment. "Interesting contraptions aren't they? And all made of iron too, so they're sure to last a very long time" he smirked slightly as he entered the room.

"So boys I don't believe that I got your name's when I was handing out your detentions. Care to introduce yourselves before we get started?" He raised an eyebrow at the boys and crossed him arms over his chest.

"Ahh...I like the way you think. It would be nice having a maid," he said grinning when Irial added on to their little wager. Tempted to make it two weeks instead of one, but didn't want to over do it just in case he did lose. The hairs on the back of his neck started to stand on end, a feeling of being watching drifted through him. His gaze falling on the professor as he watched them from the door.

Ari grinned. "Very," he said, having to agree with the professor because they were interesting indeed. "Well used to I'm sure," he added smartly, his lips still curled up in a smirk. He straightened to his full height and crossed his arms almost as if he was copying the man. "I'm Aries and this is Irial," he said introducing the both of them.

Irial turned and looked at the Professor. "What's your name?" he asked, since Ari had already introduced the two of them. After all, it would only be right if he introduced himself too. He too crossed his arms over his chest, but leaned against the wall, checking that he didn't lean against any slime first.

"So, prof," he said, his stomach growling slightly from lack of food, but paying it no mind. "What sort of torture are you going to put us through today? Can't be worse than anything we've ever faced or read about before." He glanced at the suit of armor interestedly. Hmm. Wonder what that was used for.

"Lawson" he answered with amusement at the boys smart mouths. Marcus flicked his wand and accio'd the boys wands and pocketed them. "Why don't you two take a seat? In fact I insist" another flick of his wand and the Irial and Aries were on their butts, on the floor.

"Let's have some fun shall we" he strode towards the two and with another flourish of his wand saw the two boys being chained together. Marcus pulled a lock out of his pocket and hooked it onto the chains and then stood back. "You've got an hour to work out the combination and free yourself. If not then I let the critters out." He turned on his heel and headed out the door.

Irial's eyes widened. He didn't mind the professor taking their wands, neither boy used them much. But when he knocked them on their behinds, and chained them together, he let out a startled yell. "Oy!" he cried out, but the professor was already gone. Wait...critters?! Ah crap...

"Oy...Ari..." he muttered, struggling to break free of the chains. "Figure this out. I'm not going to let that guy let whatever critters he's got out!" He strained his head to look at the lock. Hmm. What could the combination be? Uh. Answer? Anything!

Struggling against the chains, the two brothers wasted fifteen minutes trying to free themselves.

Feeling his wand being summoned from his pocket Ari glared at the professor. He wasn't about to cooperate that easy, opening his mouth to say that he liked standing just fine, but before he could utter a word he found himself on his butt and to make thing worst he chain him to his brother. Ari struggled against the tight bounds of the chains which did no good at all.

He looked up when they were told that they had an hour to figure out the combination to the lock or he was going to let out some kind of critters on them. He's bluffing was the first thing Ari thought. Thinking that the professor was just trying to scare them and make them try and get out of the chains. But he wasn't so sure he wanted to call the guy bluff because what if he did have some kind of nasty critter lingering somewhere, waiting to get at them.

"I'm not even sure if I can figure it out," Ari replied to his brother as they continued to struggle to break free, wasting time. Ari finally gave up on trying to break free there was no use. They had to figure out the combination. He groaned as Irial continued to struggle. Only making the chains on his side bite into him more now that he wasn't pulling at them.

"Stop moving," He muttered, turned his head trying to see the lock, but the way it was set he couldn't see the numbers that was on it at all. But his hand was free enough that he could turn the dial. "Irial can you see the numbers? I might be able to get it, but I can't read it."

Irial frowned at his brother. "Don't tell me what to do..." he growled, but did as he was told and stopped struggling. He turned his head, cracking it, to see the numbers. Excitedly he nodded. "Yeah," he said. "I see the numbers. Have you got the combination?"

He tried to reach the lock, but was just out of reach. He'd be able to reach it, but it meant the chains would have to cut into both of them. He didn't relish the thought of being cut by chains, but he'd rather that than the "critters" whats-his-face had planned for them.

"Tell me what to do," Irial said, ready to listen to whatever his brother had to say in order to get out of this in time. "I'm not sure how much time we have left before he gets back, so hurry up."

Ari was relieved when Irial stopped struggling. He could relax a bit without having the chain cutting into his flesh. His clothes not much protection. "No not yet, but I'll see if I can get it," he said, as he started to turn the small dial of numbers. "When I stop on a number just tell me what that number is. I think that it should be three numbers."

He sighed, wondering how he was going to do this. It would be some much easier if he had two hands, but one was all that was free enough to reach. He turned the dial right, left, and then right again. Trying to feel a soft click or something that would give away the right number. Going to fast at first he turned more slowly. "What number am I on?" Ari asked Irial finally.

Irial watched closely, his eyes never leaving the dial. He didn't hear any click, but when Ari spoke, he released the breath he was holding and focused on the number.

"One," he said. "The pointer's pointing to the first notch. Ari..you've got to do this. I think we're running out of time." Swallowing hard, he allowed his brother to attempt to find the second number. "You better get this right, Ari..." he muttered, more to himself than the guy he was chained to.

He didn't need to be told that they were running out of time. Even though he wasn't sure how much time had passed since the professor left, they had spent to much time trying to force their way free. "Cracking first are you?" he asked, trying to keep his cool. But with ever passing second perspiration form on his head. Expecting the door to be opened at any second and some creature would enter to get them. His hand stopped again. "What's the number?"

Irial shook his head. "There's no way in hell I'm cracking first, Ari. You were always the brains of the family. I was the brawn. I can handle anything that guy can throw at us." He paused, not wanting to argue with his brother just then. He watched as Ari moved the little dial once more. He strained to see what number it was now.

"Um..." he began. "Seven...no, no wait. Nine. The number's nine. It's pointing to the little notch right before ten. For all this effort we're putting into this, well, you...this better be the right combination." He strained against the chains, trying to get free as his brother continued with the lock.

"Do you have any idea how uncomfortable this is?!" he snapped at the closed door suddenly.

Ari managed a low laugh. "Okay. Just sound like you was letting the guy get to you with him setting critters on us. Thought it was scaring you for a moment," he replied, but his tone was a teasing one. When Irial said that the number was a nine that was the one number he was sure about. Out of the three numbers he was sure they needed for the lock he was positive that that had to be the second number.

"If its not then I guess where goners," he joked. When Irial strained against the chains the lock slipped from his fingers. "Dang it Irial," he hissed, as he tried to feel for the lock again. "Not nearly as uncomfortable it is for me when you move and cause the chains to bite into my flesh."

He turned the dial right again. Trying to hurry because he knew that they only had probably a few minutes left before their hours was up. When he thought that he finally got the last number he asked Irial what the number was.

Irial completely ignored his younger brother and looked down at the number. "Three," he said tonelessly. This was really getting on his nerves now. Between the professor, the stupid lock and his brother, his nerves were shot. He was going to snap at anyone who ticked him off now.

"This better be right, Ari..." he listened closely, hoping beyond hope that the numbers were right and the lock would unlock. "Please let it be right." In agreement, his stomach growled loudly. Damn it, he was so hungry too. Well. At that to the list now. Hmph.

"Okay," he said. Now that they had three numbers all he needed to do now was put them in right, hoping that it was indeed the right code. He to couldn't wait to be freed from the chain. "It if isn't then I suggest we try getting up so we can at least try and get away from whatever he sends after us," Ari said. Turning the dial again ready to put the numbers in, but in what order. There was two, one, nine, and three or three, nine, and one.

With Irial's guidance he carefully turned to each number, letting him tell him where to stop for each number. Trying the order with the one first. When the last number was put in nothing happen and he groaned. That only left the last order with the three first. Praying that it was the right combination. Turning the dial right to the three, left to the nine, and then right again to the one. Pleas god let this be the right combination....

The door to the dungeon swung open and Professor Lawson stood framed in the doorway holding a large bag that was wriggling around in his hand. "Still tied up I see boys. You have..."he looked at his watch..."exactly thirty seconds left."

When the door opened his gaze shot up at the professor, fingers slipping from around the lock again. Oh man. He thought, trying to feel for the lock again. His eyes then falling on the bag that he carried in with him. Was it wiggling? He asked himself, positive that it was. He couldn't help counting down the second before he would release whatever was in the bag on them. Finally getting his hand on the lock again he knew that the time was nearly up. Having already put the combination 3-9-1 in he pulled and the lock and it came undone with a loud click the seemed to echo through the room. Their chains loosening.

Ari looked back up at the professor and gave a smart humph sound. His smirk returning to his face. "Is that all?"

Irial let out a cry in triumph when he heard the click of the lock and felt the chains fall off him. Way to go, Ari! He grinned at his brother as he stood up, pulling his brother to his feet. He turned to the Professor and looked at him, his arms crossed over his chest now.

"Is that all?" he repeated Ari's question. He knew they made it out in time, and he smiled. But the professor was probably going to do something else to them. But what?

"Ah very good boys, see how teamwork and some patience will get you the result that you are after." Lawson, vanished the chains and then pulled out some powder from his pocket. "But the fun is not over yet." He threw the powder into the room and instantly everything went black. "Let's see how aware of your surroundings you are when you have lost your sense of sight." Marcus opened the bag and let the Imp's out and quickly closed the door on the two boys. He chuckled to himself, well this should be interesting.

Irial blinked and let out a cry as everything went dark around him. "Ari?!" he shouted, feeling around for his brother. He felt something soft, and grabbed onto it. It was Aries's arm. Good.

"That stupid professor left us blind!" Growling, he looked around, trying to let his eyes adjust to the darkness. "Can you see anything, Ari?" he grumbled. He was just about to pull the younger boy closer to him when suddenly something smacked him hard in the head.

"What the hell?!" he shouted. "That...he let whatever was in the bag out anyway! That stupid! When I get my hands on him!" Irial was beyond ticked off now. He had no idea what he was supposed to do, but all he knew was that he had to get these flying things to stop hitting him in the head and he had to see again.

"Ari," he began, moving into strategy mode. "The suit of armor. We've got to get these things in the suit of armor. I have no idea how we're gonna see again, but if we stuff them all in there, at least we'll be able to think properly."

Giggling to himself, the little Imp climbed up one of the boys leg, all the way to the top and sat on his shoulder. he pulled at the boys hair before biting him on the ear and jumped away giggling like mad.

Ari badly wanted to ask what fun, he didn't find any of this fun at all. He blinked and the whole room went pitch black. Almost as though someone had pulled a veil over his eyes. Feeling a hand grab his arm he would have jump if he hadn't realized it was Irial.

"No, I can't," he replied, side stepping close to his brother when he was pulled. This was really starting to get ridiculous. What was he expecting them to do when they couldn't see a thing. Hearing fluttering of wings and Irial sudden cry he figured that the professor her set free whatever was in the bag. "Alright, if we can catch the...." he started, but stopped when he felt something crawling up his body. Moving out of Irial grasp he trying to shake it off. "Its on me....AHHHHHHH!!!!!! THE THING BIT ME!!!" he yelled.
