Aaron smiled. She believed him. "Actually, it isn't. But wouldn't it be really awesome if it was?" he said laughing. "That's actually Neptune." Aaron then unwrapped his cake and took a bite. SOOOOOOOOOOOO YUUUUUUUUUUMMYYYYYYYY. He then found himself looking at Iris again. This time, he didn't look away.

Iris just looked at him, half inbetween amusment and disbelief. "What? ... Neptunes not even a star! it's a planet" she said to him, and started laughing. Again. She looked back up to the stars, and just watched them for a while whilst Aaron ate his cake, not looking down she said, "Can me and you still call Neptune Iris though? ... we can call Mars Aaron if you like." she added, grinning. Lucky for Aaron, she didn't notice him staring at her.

He smiled when she said that he was right. Then he became thoughtful. He didn't want to get this wrong, 'cause it seemed that he would get Points for this.

"I remember that the lilies were of the species Victoria amazonica and that the leaves can be up to 3 meters in diameter. The flowers are white on their first night of opening and then become pink on the second... Oh, and they can be up to 40 cm in diameter. And beetles pollinate them."

He looked at her hopefully. Please let him be right.

Aaron smiled looking up at the stars again. "I know it isn't a star, silly." he laughed. "Of course we can call it Iris." He thought about Aaron being Mars. And chuckled. "Mars is the Roman God of War." He then took a moment to realise who he was. "I'm not 'War Like.' But I'll take it!" He said excitedly. Aaron was now getting into his Mythology, SOMEONE BETTER STOP HIM! "Most planets are named after Roman Gods. But you don't want to hear about that." Good job stopping your self. He then looked at Iris again. Why can't you turn away, boy!?

Iris laughed softly as Aaron started talking about the Roman Gods, then scoffed as he said he wasn't war like. she sat up straight and looked him in the eyes, "Aaron Anderson, how can you say that you aren't 'war like?!' Did you not hear your self playing chess earlier?" before starting laughing again. she sat quietly for a while whilst Aaron talked again, "It's alright, I don't mind. Mythology is interesting, and I don't know that much about it." she smiled at him then looked away to where the professors and a few older students were, and listened to their conversation for a while.

Aaron thought of the chess game. She was right. He commanded his troops like they were in ACTUAL war. "I guess you're right." Aaron then thought about Roman Mythology. "I don't know much about Roman mythology, but I know A LOT about Greek Mythology. But they're essentially the same..." He saw Iris looking off in the other direction and decided to shut up and finish his cauldron cake.

"I know I'm right." she replied simply. "I only know of Iris because of what my parents told me... But yeah, she is both the Roman and Greek Godess of the rainbow. You don't have to stop talking just because I'm looking the other way you know." she added with a small smile as she turned to face him again. Iris yawned and blinked a few times to keep her eyes awake.. it wasn't that late...

Oh like she didn't know the chocolates were for her. Marcus, had to chuckle at her antics. If there was one thing they definitely had in common it was their love of chocolate.

"That's because we were young and stupid" he confessed with a little sheepish look. Anastasia had done some brilliant things for the band and they had all taken her for granted. Marcus, looked around the tent once again with appreciative eyes before turning back to Annie. "I certainly know better now." His eyes flicked over her outfit and then back to her eyes and he gave her a wink. Boy! He sure did appreciate things now.

Marcus stepped back astounded at the young boy's behaviour. What the hell was the matter with this kid? As soon as he grabbed Annie, Marcus' eyes narrowed and he placed a firm hand on the kid's shoulder.

"OFF." He commanded in a low voice. He didn't care what the kid's problem was. You don't man handle the Professor's especially a female one.

"Well, I don't really feel like talking about it right now." Aaron yawned too. He was tired. When was this thing going to get started for real? He was sure to fall asleep soon. He then looked at Iris strait in the eyes. "I may have been depressed a lot of the year. But I did have the most fun ever this year. You guys," he looked at Fallon (?), too. And said, "are my best friends ever."

A party? A party with Bunbunz? Lyra just HAD to be here. No question about it. She wandered down the pathway, her dress flowing as she walked. She had to dress in PINK, there was no question about that! And with all the PINK things that the professor had around the little party, Lyra was in PINK Paradise!

"Hello Professor," she chimed in, not caring that there were other people around engulfed in their own conversations. Her's was much more interesting of course, especially with this beautiful flowery dress she wore. Someone just HAD to comment! If they didn't she would make sure of it!

All right YES! Even though Torin Kane was quite possibly the weirdest Hufflepuff Bunbury had met yet, he was at least an intelligent one.

"Yes, excellent, Mr. Kane," she nodded at the boy. "Have two house points for bringing your knowledge with you to the party. The lilies are in bloom, and as you can see right now, they're white, but they should be turning pink any minute now... do you see the beetles squirming around on there on the lilies?"

"Thanks for that, Axe," Annie muttered, patting her hair as if it had been disturbed by the wailing boy. She was just going to ignore the kid now though and continue. "Now then, have you ever seen a water lily in bloom?" Fifty galleons said he hadn't.

Anastasia turned her head as a bit of wild, colorful movement caught her eye. What in Merlin's Pants was coming down the pathwa---

"Miss Noir!" Annie had to let out a happy gasp of approval at the girl's dress. "Darling you look absolutely smashing, I must say!" She took a few steps toward Lyra and circled her dress with an approving smile. "It's rather stunning for a little garden party, but you like you just stepped off the runway. Who's the designer?"

Victoria walked along the candlelit path, she saw all the tables and chairs and it looked very nice. "Hey Professor, the student garden really looks nice".

"oh... Ok then." She watched Professor Bunbury talk for a while, she was talking about the lilies... Maybe they're going to watch them bloom? She looked at Aaron as he turned to speak to her and Fallon. She didn't know what to say, so instead she hugged him, and just hoped that what ever she should have said was there in the hug. She rested her head on his shoulder and felt her self fall asleep.

Aaron hugged her back with all the good emotions he had to offer. Ask her NOW, Boy!!! No, don't!!! What if things went awkward??? What does he have to lose??? I don't know, MAYBE THEIR FRIENDSHIP!!! I say he goes for it. Well, I think I would know what's right. I went to college. Oh, you're actually going to bring that up again. Yeah, I will, because I have that over you. SHUT UP, MIND!!! I'M NOT GOING TO DO IT!!! Haha, eat me. Shut up. Aaron let go of the hug and looked at Iris. She then rested her head on his shoulder. He put his arm around her and out his head on top of hers. He saw Iris fall asleep. And he was sure to do the same...

Kiri sat on her own at one of the tables, staring blankly into space. That, she was doing quite literally. The lily pads had only captured her attention for a short time. The beetles the professor pointed out were not visible to Kiri, and she'd found her eyes starting to hurt as she looked and looked into the near-complete darkness around the pond.

Her gaze had drifted off to the horizon, then higher, and even higher than that, and she'd slid down in her chair further and further... And now her head was resting on the back of the chair, and she was looking upwards into the starry night sky, only vaguely aware that this was not what she was supposed to be doing. Professor Bunbury was busy with a lot of other students, though, and even some professors... The garden party (it was even called a party) had such an informal atmosphere to it that she didn't feel too bad about it. Until she would be discovered, of course.

Sweet! He got House Points so easily. Smiling, he looked at the lilies like she asked him to. "Yes, I see them, Professor."

Wearing a dress which was probably made her a little over dressed, Vanessa made her way to the garden party. Although she was pretty sure that her dress was awesome, so it wouldn't matter if she was over dressed. And one had to dress to impress anyway so.
Arriving at the party, she couldn't help but notice Kiri, looking up at the sky. Aww. Kiri was so cute. The midgety girl approached when she young slytherin was, smiling.

"Anything interesting up there?" She asked with a smile, as she looked around. She couldn't forget to go and show Professor Bunbury her awesome dress.

Grace walked to the garden party, wondering how it'd be like. It was her first official party in this slightly odd school and she really had no idea, besides the obvious fact that it'd be pinkfect as Professor Bunbury was throwing it.

She was uneasy on the way. She wasn't afraid of darkness, but she was really suspicious about what was in that forest. Werewolves were a myth of the forest, as well as vampires and even giants. She knew a giant lived there at The boy who lived times with Rubeus Hagrid, and she was almost sure the giants had a house there now. If they had a house, of course.

When finally she saw the light of pink candles, she sighed in relief and entered the pinkfect party. 'Wow, it's rather cool here!' she thought. The professor absolutely had a fancy taste.

The little girl called a "Hello Professor Bunbury! Really nice place and party." to Professor Bunbury and smiled politely at the others. She spotted Iris and Aaron. Iris resting on Aaron's shoulder... Aaron was hugging her... Although Grace couldn't tell why, this made her uneasy. She had to have some time to clear her mind. When she shook the uneasiness, she walked to them and lowered her noise not to wake Iris up. "Hey Aaron..." How to continue? She was unsure about her anger, so she didn't remark on their position. "How are you?" It was a stupid question to ask, it was really obvious that he was enjoying himself.

Kiri, who had been trying to figure out if the group of stars she was looking at was the Summer Triangle, nearly slid out of the chair when someone close to her spoke. For a moment, she thought it was Professor Bunbury, but when she looked away from the darkness of space to focus on more mundane, down-to-earth matters - such as other people talking to her - she that it was, in fact, Vanessa. "Hey," she said quietly. "Yes, there's, er, Vega," she pointed, "and next to it... Erm, never mind." She struggled into an upright position and rubbed the back of her head to get the blood flowing again.

Vanessa was wearing a very extravagant dress. It was layered and... there was some kind of Muggle cartoon printed on it. That reminded Kiri of her own attire, because it was so ordinary compared to everyone else at the party! She'd agonised in front of the mirror, a batch of the new clothes she got from Paris on the bed. But in the end, she'd been too scared to put on anything fancy. Especially not that red dress - gorgeous, yes, but she still thought she was half-naked in it.
None of her classmates had ever really seen her in anything but working school robes or marginally more presentable dress robes (which nonetheless looked very similar to the school robes), so she'd slipped into the white tunic Paris had said looked so nice on her, and that was it. No dress. No shoes with higher heels. "That's a nice dress," Kiri commented, smiling. With her foot, she shoved the chair opposite her away from the table. "Sit down! How are you?"

Opps. Vanessa hadn't meant for Kiri to nearly slide out of the chair. She cringed a little, but then smiled when she saw that Kiri was okay. "Awesome." Vanessa smiled, as she looked up at the sky, although it was hard considering that she was stood up, and didn't really want to look like a idiot.

As Kiri mentioned her dress, Vanessa looked down at it again. She really did like this dress, hence why she was wearing it. She especially liked the muggle cartoon that was on it, although she had no idea what the cartoon was. She also thought that Miles might like the dress, it would probably amuse him. "Thanks Kiri." Vanessa nodded. Tehe she was glad that people liked it. Sitting down next to the slytherin girl, she smiled. "I'm very good...wondering why we are down here thought....and yourself?"

"I'm okay," Kiri said with a slight shrug. "Preparing for the end-of-term exams." She pulled a face. "At least now that it's warmer, I can revise outside. I hate climbing up those ladders, though. The other day, I nearly fell off." She shivered at the recollection.
"Hey, but what about your exams? NEWTs, right? They're happening these days, don't they?" On some days, there was deadly silence on the fourth floor. That's when the fifth and sixth years were absent from class, too...

She gazed around. "I'm not sure what we're doing here. Something to do with the lilies, I think." Kiri twisted her body in her chair to look at the pond again. A few people were gathered around it, but as far as Kiri could see, nothing exciting was happening. Taking in the scene - the flickering candlelights, the idly chatting students, the colourful clothes - she said, "It's very nice, though. Not too cold, either."

"Yeah....I love the sun." Vanessa nodded. Although she was spending a lot of time in the common room revising. At least it'd be all over soon, and hopefully she'd just be able to relax before she had to leave forever.
"Yeah" Vannie frowned. Stupid exams. "There going alright....making me so tired though." Vannie giggled, thank god for concealing make up.

"Ooh...lilies." Vannie smiled. That was awesome. She looked around, maybe she should go find Professor Bunbury and ask her about it... and show her the dress at the same time.
"Do you wanna come say hello to professor Bunbury with me?" She asked smiling, as she noticed that Lyra was there too. Yey for pink lady friends.

"Aww, I can imagine." Kiri patted Vanessa's arm in sympathy. "I think my exams are difficult already, I don't even want to think about my OWLs and my NEWTs. But I'm sure you'll do great." Her face lit up as she remembered another snippet of information Vanessa had shared with her previously. "And you still have Professor Morgan to help you, right? For, er, St Mungo's?"

"Oh, er, say hello to Professor Bunbury?" Kiri asked, looking at Vanessa. "Do you know her?" It never ceased to surprise her how well everyone got along with the teachers, and how personal they were with them. The students asked for advice in every matter imaginable. Kiri had, as far as she could remember, only visited professors out of class two or three times. Once, to have her pygmy puff looked at. And then just a few weeks ago, to give Professor Lawson her gift. That was when the first floor flooded, she remembered.

But knowing them better would even be advantageous, maybe! Professor Morgan had certainly helped out Vanessa. "Err, alright, sure! I-I don't think I've ever really talked to her, you know," Kiri said, getting up. She smiled at Vanessa a little self-consciously. "Why don't you lead the way, then?"

"At least there my last ones." Vannie giggled, then she was out in the big wide world. At least she had her internship all ready. That made her feel glad, and not stressed.
"Yes....actually she's helped me work out my revision time table.....Im going to owe my life to her" Vanessa giggled, of course she wold be very greatful for that.

"Yes....quite well." Vanessa nodded. Well Professor Bunbury was a pink lady, so she had been seeing quite a lot of the teacher this year. "Aww....don't be shy she's loverly." Vanessa nodded with a smile. As she stood up, and looked towards Professor Bunbury and the students she was with. Giving one more smile to Kiri, Vanessa walked over to Professor Bunbury.

"Hey Professor Bunbury." Vannie smiled, straightening out her dress again. "Wooah....I love your dress Lyra!" Vanessa smiled at her close friend. It suited her really well too.

"Mmm, okay," Kiri said. She followed Vanessa as the two of them made their way past small groups of talking students, tables full of flickering tealights and - of course - lots of different plants in search of Professor Bunbury. Kiri felt rather awkward, somewhat like a little girl following her mother. At least Vanessa wasn't much taller than her, that would have been worse. Most of the people they passed appeared to be wearing some sort of formal attire, and Kiri was glad that she'd persuaded herself to at least put on the pretty tunic Paris had recommended, rather than one of her usual white shirts or something similarly bland. The gems on the black belt glittered in the candlelight.

They found the professor in conversation with a few students and fellow teachers. Professor Lawson was there, Kiri saw, and the good-natured Divination teacher, Professor Kapoor. Vanessa joined the group confidently, so Kiri let her speak first as she stayed behind her a step or two, unsure of what to say. "Errm, hello," she announced to everyone in the group.
