Lyra noticed that the girls eyes went ice blue and wondered what that meant , but on the look on her face she knew she was either sad or nervous.
Lyra smiled . "i think its Awesome!! were you born with it? or did you use a spell once? " she asked in a amazed voice and felt her raven landing on her shoulder. "oh hey Kira" she said to the bird and stroked his feathers and turned back to face Xehanna and laughed a little nervous. "oh sorry, i've never met anyone who can change their eye colours depending on their moods, so....yea" Lyra finished the sentenced stupidly and stared at the fire. A second later she jumped up, feeling something cold. "where'd that water came from?!" She screamed looking around and she heard another Slytherin student yelling something of calling the head of house.

Cam gaaaasped, and his mouth was wide open when she--DID SHE JUST SAY HE SMELLED LIKE A GIRL?! Well if someone put it that way... he was starting to wonder why even use girl shampoo in the first place. Oh yeah, because they smelled... so goooooooood. He couldn't fight the temptation against THAT, could he? Well not really no. His mouth went wider as Dru said that he was a girl. "WHAAAAAAAT? NU WAI. NOOOO." Cam was NOT a girl, he was a boy and they were laughing... at him. Oh he wondered why he told them the secret of vanishing a person in the first place.

"What the heck?! GIRLY FIREPANTS? Absolutely NO." Nuuuuaooo. He was getting teased and he didn't like getting teased. That was juuuust plain mean. Girls really were meanie-bo-beaniesss. "No--youuu, stop singing it!"

He looked back at Diane and relieved when she put the wand back into her pocket... but then went back into a state of shock when she believed he was a girl too. Group of meanie firepants liars? "HUUUUUH? WAIT, but I'm a boyyyyyyy!"

He started flailing.

"But I like joining groups though so--," he was met with a hug all of a sudden, "HEY! I'd like to remind you that girls could have cooties. I'm not sure if you do--but..." Dru started talking to them again and he looked down on the floor and noticed water. Now... why the heck was there water on the floor? But that was when he noticed when it was a leak. A LEAK.

In an instant, everybody in the common room noticed. This girl started screaming and saying it could've been the lake. Wait. WHAT IF IT WAS?! "THE LAKE?!" But I can't swiiiiiim! He added that mentally though. His feet started getting wet...

"Shooooot." Unless ...

...

...

"WAIT! Everyone, this could be a sign..." his eyes started shining as though he had found the newest discovery in the world, "...from NATURE." Oh yeah he was serious.

Working on his drawing, he suddenly realizes that his stocking feet, are freezing cold and soaked! Pulling his feet up closer to him, he throws his book and pencil back into his bag.

"What the...!"

Ruby stood there and thought about it "are there any spells anyone knows?" she hoped they could vanish it

"i´m sorry, i´m a first year so i don´t think Wingardium leviosa would help at all" she said now visibly worried, watching how part of her skirt was now wet

So apparently this big puddle wasn't just out in the dungeon corridor but in the Common Room too! Oh noes, this wasn't good. What was going on here? Was it an Aguamenti gone wrong? Or like Cam said, a sign from nature? Or maybe something to do with the lake? They were underneath it after all. Oh, where was Evangeline when he needed her?

"I think we should all think about getting out of here," Clifford said, jumping onto the nearest armchair to address the Slytherins and avoid getting even wetter feet. "If it's a leak and this is lake water coming in.. we could all be in danger under here." Especially him who couldn't swim. EEEK! "Remember Impervius is the spell to repel water.. I advise you all cast it upon yourself to avoid getting soaked. Older students, you should help the younger ones with this."

Head Boy mode: ON.

Lyra jumped on the couch, not wanting to get wet, "maybe the charm evanesco we learned in transfiguration class?" she said "but i don't know if it helps with water!, much water in fact! big lake water!! oh pleeeaase don't let it be the lake water" she prayed

"Yeah, it's really interesting. Have you attended the cla--" Grace couldn't end her sentence when suddenly big drops of water seeped on her head. "Whaat?" she asked blankly. This meant only one thing, a leak, but she couldn't believe it. It was Hogwarts! Didn't they have magic for that and stuff? She didn't know if somebody called for a professor. Probably they did, she thought. The floors were already wet. She grabbed her stuff. She hated wet. She cursed under her breath when the others talked about a spell. Could "Evanesco" be helpful? She doubted. Maybe a freezing spell to stop water, if there was such a spell. She didn't know.

"I don´t know, maybe, we could try.." she made a quick movement with her wand and shouted "evanesco!" nothing happened "i don´t think this is an accident" she said in a lower voice so that only Grace and those near would hear her

she listened to the head boyand asked him "how can we avoid it if it´s everywhere? including the hallway"

Ruby saw Clifford give orders about a spell and she shouted "i can't do the spell Impervius my wand is in the dorm " EEEK

Grace's face became paler. As the Head Boy had suggested, getting out of there was really tempting. And the best idea so far. She tried to do "Impervius", but apparently she didn't have the ability to cast a spell in nearly panic. "So what now?" she thought aloud.

"We can't avoid it," Clifford said solemnly, "but we'll have to go through it before it gets worse and we all get trapped in here." If it got worse and they stayed in here, they'd all drown surely. "We need to at least move to higher ground. I don't think staying in here is safe at the moment." He was answering the small girl, but he hoped everyone was listening.

"Impervius," Clifford murmured, waving his wand swiftly over Ruby's body. The water around her ankles seemed to repel, proof that his spell had worked. Thank goodness.

Right now, Clifford was feeling sorry for these firsties. They'd barely spent anytime here and then THIS happens. Well, it was Hogwarts he supposed. Crazy stuff was always happening around here. He noticed the girl was apparently having some trouble with the spell - he'd figured that might happen withthe younger ones. "It's alright, kid," the Head Boy said gently, waving his wand over the girl and muttering the incantation under his breath. Just like Ruby, the water around her seemed to repel. "There. Better?" Her feet were probably still soggy.. but at least they wouldn't get soggier.

Ruby felt Clifford work the spell on her and the water began to repel "thanks Clifford" she listened to Clifford, "what if the rest of the castle is flooded then what?" she asked him

Grace wondered why the proffessor hadn't come yet. She looked at the ceiling, trying to figure out if the leak got bigger when the Head Boy, Clifford was his name she guessed, casted "Impervius" on her. No more water. Great! Besides the fact that her feet had already wet. At least maybe they could start drying. "Thank you!" she said gratefully.

Vicky watched the head boy cast the spell and smiled, Hogwarts really was an interesting place to say the least, she asked Grace "Are you ok?" and added "Your face looks rather pale"

Oh Merlin. So many questions. Questions, questions, questions. Clifford wanted to run away.. not being able to swim, being down here right now was simply awful. Being Head Boy though, he felt the need to answer questions, and look out for the safety of his peers. "We're at the lowest point of the castle," he adressed Ruby, "it's likely that this flood has started down here and the rest of the castle is okay for the moment. If that was the case though, well then we'd need to get outside onto the grounds."

"No problem," Clifford smiled at the smaller of the girls. He was suddenly glad for his height advantage. If the water level got any deeper.. well, it was these midgets that would suffer first. Best not announce that though. Righteo. "Hey.. you don't happen to know if anyone is in the girl's dormitories, do you?" Bah, he wasn't allowed to go in there. EEK! What if Evangeline was asleep in there!?

Sydney was napping on chair when she heard lots oooh's and aaah's. A very weird sight came before her eyes as she opened them lazily. What on earth is going on! Rather sitting on the chairs, lots of students were standing on them, some were panicking specially the firsties. Observing the situation she jumped down from the big chair...splash Sydney gasped "Oh my! Where is the water coming from???" She said loudly. She was now soaked with cold water & was shivering. Sydney looked at her friend Lyra who was standing on a chair... "Lyra what is going on?" She said jumping back on one of the chairs.

"i dont think so" Vicky answered "i told every girl in the room to better get downstairs minits ago i figured it would be safer if we stayed together here" she said glad to be of any help
She then asked the head boy "do you think you could help me to do the spell in the right way? it seems we´ll need it all day long" "impervius" she shouted, again nothing happened "i don´t know what i´m doing wrong"

"i .. i dont know!!" she said when she saw that Sydney had finally woken up and grabbed her wand pointed it at herself saying the incantion she heard the Head Boy saying , "impervius" but since she was still a first year , it didn't work. "oh no no no" she muttered trying again.

Ruby nodded and said to herself "i hope Hogwarts isn't being attacked!!!!!"

"Alright!" Sydney said nervously. What if I get drowned, I don't even know how to swim! She thought. "What's the spell???!! Sydney shouted as she saw Lyra mumbling something with her wand pointed at herself.
Achoo Sydney sneezed while rolling her hair in a bun. She took her wand and waited for someone to tell her the spell.

Kevin was napping on his chair when he woke up he saw a lot of confused housemates and water in the dungeon what is going on

April came in from the girl's dorms, frowning as the water was starting to fill up here too. Just perfect. She stood there rather lost, unsure of what to do. Hearing the head boy telling people to get out in case the water was dangerous she decided that'd be the best course of action really. She wasn't entirely sure where to go, but she'd find somewhere.

Still carrying her book she'd been reading in the girls dorms, some muggle fiction novel about child spies called cherubs, she pointed her wand at her feet that were now getting wet. "Impervius." She muttered, frowning as it didn't work. "Impervius!!" April said, more forcefully this time. "Oh well, a bit of water won't hurt." She told herself. She'd leave in a few minutes, her curiosity about what was going on too strong for her to leave right now.

She decided she'd get her school bag in case she would get stuck out of the dorms. Her clothes she wasn't too fussed about but she wanted her school bag so she wouldn't be bored. That and she had homework to start on. April quickly hurried back into the dorms.

Walking down into the common room with the girl she met in the dormitory, she quickly spotted Dru and hurried over, "Do you know whats going on at all?" she asked quietly.

"The spell is Impervius , Syd!" she shouted at her , "but it just doesn't work for me!" she cursed under her breath as she pointed her wand at herself again. "impervius!" Lyra said "Impervius!!" finally a warm sensation came through her and she knew she had done the spell . "wow" she said looking at her own clothes, "handy" She looked around hoping Sydney had heard her. "It's Impervius!" she called again.
