"hey Satine,hey Jule.what's up?any announcements?" asked Bella as she entered the Great Hall and walked towards the Ravvie table. the last evening's exhilaration of able to perform the vanishing spell still didnt seem to wear out.but she calmed herself down coz she thought that some announcements regarding the flooded dungeons will be made and it wouldnt be nice to keep an excited face when people are in danger.

"thanks." she smiled back. "so the head nurse isn't here?"

"Hey Bella! I was wondering where you had snuck off to. I told Jules about you being able to do the vanishing spell last night in the CR....did you get any more practice...they haven't mentioned any new announcements yet..but I hope they do too I'm getting ansy with anticipation of what the Professor has to say...and..." she looked around the Great Hall..." he's drawn a pretty big crowd after the castle announcement he made early this morning." Satine poured a cup of Guava juice and began sipping out of the glass...she reached and grabbed a small biscuit and gave Gemma, who was on her shoulder, a little piece...remembering Bella's uncomfyness around critters she grabbed Gemma and put the chinchilla in her bag.

Looking at Jules, "Well, I haven't seen her...I've only seen the Intern Nurse..."

Kel, who had just finished his dinner, was halfway down the Ravenclaw table when a professor yelled for all the students to sit down. With a sigh, he turned around to sit down, and saw Satine next to him. He quickly sat down in an empty spot next to her, hoping she didn't mind. He saw that she was talking with two others, so he didn't say anything to her, but turned his face up to the Staff table, wondering if they'd announce anything...

He looked around himself, and saw Jenn, wondering how he'd ever over-looked her. "Do you know what's going on?" he asked, frowning.

Mariel had been just outside the library doors about to enter when she heard the booming voice of Kazimeriz - from four floors away! - commanding students to find a place at their table in the Great Hall. After getting over her initial shock and picking herself up from the ground, the third year Ravenclaw rushed down several flights of stairs. Cuz that voice was just plain scary and when you hear a voice like that, you do as you're told.

Slowing as she made her way through the Great Hall so she could catch her breath, Mariel made her way over to the Ravenclaw table and seated herself next to Jenn. From her seat, her green eyes scanned the room to assess the situation. The Slytherins at their table were completely drenched. "What's going on?" she whispered to Jenn. "Did I miss the field trip to the Lake?" She then turned her eyes to the Staff Table, awaiting to hear what was so urgent that the entire school had to drop everything and assemble.

Satine smiled at Mariel and Kel as they sat, or moved closer, at the Ravvie Table..."I'm not really sure what's going on, but from the tone of the Professor's voice I knew we better get down here ASAP." she looked up and down the table and saw that the majority of the tables were full with students...ugh...what were they waiting on...she hated sitting still this long...

while waiting for some sort of announcements Bella grabbed her goblet and began drinkiing her pumpkin juice.she was glad that Gemma was in Satine's bag now and she sort of calmed down and continued with her drink

Jenn's eyes widdned in disbelief. "You mean the dungeons overflowing?!"she asked, shocked. She looked over at the dungeons, seeing people coming out, drenched and coughing. "Do you know how?"she asked.


Jenn looked over at Kel, who was now sitting next to her, and shrugged. "I have no idea. But....look over at the dungeons."she said, pointing to where some students were coming out, very drenched looking. "Did something like the pipes break?"she wondered, her eyes widdening. If that did happen...and the Slytherin Common room being down there...."I hope no one died!"she exclaimed, shivvering again.

I don't really know. Kazimeriz seems to know. It looks like the dungeons are flooding with water or something like that. That's what she said, and I heard other's saying that too."she said, indicating to Satine. "Oh I sure hope everyone is okay."she worried, watching the entrance to the dungeons with anctious eyes. "I'm just guessing though."she added, shrugging. "Everyone could of just been swimming.....down there? Oh and you didn't miss the field trip."she added, smiling at Mariel.

"Hey Jenn!" Divad said excitedly. "I haven't talked to you since forever! How are things?"

He glanced at the Slytherin table, where there were a lot of people that looked like the went swimming in their school robes. He frowned, then looked back to Jenn when she mentioned pipes breaking. "You mean the dungeons flooded?" he asked, his eyes widening. "What will the Slytherins...their common room is down their!"

Kazimeriz...the dude that yelled at them to shut up and sit down? Hmm. He looked to be about...at least a thousand years old. But...forget about that. "I think it would've been announced if someone died..." he said slowly, just trying to comfort Jenn. Who knew if they'd try to keep it hush-hush or not? He just didn't want Jenn freaking out on him.

Jenn jumped slightly at the sound of her name, and turned to look over at Divad. Smiling she waved. "Hi Divad."she called, nodding to his statement. "I agree! It certainly has been a long time. Things are going....okay I guess. I'm slightly worried about the Slytherin's right now."she said, pointing to their table by the wall, were Slytherin's where wrinning out robes and such. "How are things your way?"she asked.

Jenn nodded. "That's what everyone is saying. I mean, why else would people be scrambling out of there soaked? It's just wierd though."she said, bitting her lip. She shrugged. "I don't know what is going to happen. I mean, like you said, their common room is down there, and well....I guess they will have to stay in another common room for the time being. Or stay in the Great Hall."she informed, shrugging again.

"You think so?"she asked, looking at him with wide eyes. "I can't remember if they told about the little boy getting killed last year."she thought, biting her lip again. "Oh what if someone did get hurt though?"she asked, looking back at Kel.

Kel ignored her sarcasm, knowing that she was just freaked and...well, he didn't know why, exactly, he just did. "You think they'd have them stay in a common room? Like up in the towers?" he asked, widening his eyes. He was pretty sure that had never happened... It'd be sort of awkward to have Slytherins in the Ravenclaw common room... Kel hoped they wouldn't do that.

He shook his head slowly. He had no clue what happened here last year, so he couldn't comfort Jenn anymore. She'd have to...get over it or something. "I don't think - people get hurt all the time, Jenn." he reminded her, frowning. "I'm sure if someone did, the nurse could fix them up just fine." he kept frowning, realizing that that probably sounded pretty careless. But he didn't want Jenn to start going nuts.

Jenn shrugged. "I really don't know. I mean, it would be kinda awkward, especially in Gryffindor's. They might just stay in the Great Hall, or on the grounds in tents."she shrugged again, sighing.

"So? What if people drown Kel? What if someone dies again? It would be horrible! One, the might have to close the school! And two, it's just sad! I mean, ten deaths can't be covered up that easily."she said, frowning with him. She finally nodded though. "Your right though about the nurse. She could fix them up good as new."she agreed, sighing. Then she gasped. "Pipes?! Water everywhere! Oh Kel! It's sounds like the Chamber of Secrets!"she gasped. Then she took a few deep breaths. "But that's just plain silly. I mean the Chamber of Secret's monster was killed a long time ago. Any book on history will tell you that. There's no way it could be that."she reminded her self, nodding.

Listening to Jenn and Kel's conversation after daydreaming about something from a class earlier, Satine finally put her two cents in, "Well surely they'll just let them stay here in the Great Hall...Can you imagine having to stay in tents on the grounds...I mean the weather won't be perfect forever..." she thought for a few minutes...."Surely one of the professors must know a quick water clean up spell that they can use to help siphon out the water."

Jenn mentioned the Chamber of Secrets..."O I've heard stories about that and read many of stories about the Chamber...there's now way that monster survived right?" she said the right with a lot of question...if there was a monster in the castle again that would be crazy...kind of adventurous...but crazy in the long run.

Jenn nodded in agreement to Satine's statement. "That's true. I'm sure they'll just stay here. Unless it really floods and overfloods the whole bottom areas."she said, biting her lip again. "Your right about the weather. But there's protective spells that help with keeping the bad weather out, they'd just use that around the tents to make them comfortable. Anywho though, that's for the professor's to figure out."she ended, looking up at the enchanted ceiling. As it was, the clouds where looking a bit grayish. Jenn shrugged. "I'm sure there is a spell, but this water might be enchanted. So, that would make it even harder."she pointed out, sighing. "I'm sorry. I probably sound really negetive right now."she said, smiling sheepishly at the first year.

"Yes, that time was a very...historical time. There's loads of books on it, and they all state the creature was killed, sooo....that should mean it's gone for good. Of coarse...I'm sure there's other's of it's type, but there's no way if it was put just barely that it would of grown so fast. I heard they take awhile to become, as deadly, as they are. And huge."she said, shrugging.

Mariel listened intently to Jenn's words and her eyes slowly got wider as they drifted towards the Slytherin table. Oh, so there hadn't been some excursion to the lake that she had somehow missed out on. The reason the Slytherins were dripping wet was some sort of flood in the dungeons. "I hope everyone's okay, too," she answered Jenn slowly, not taking her eyes off the green and silver table.

Her thoughts immediately turned to Nancy, one of her best friends who also happened to be a Slytherin. She vaguely listened to the conversation around her as her green eyes scanned the table for any sign of her friend. Biting her lower lip, her eyes rested on Nancy's unconscious form. Oh, no! Mariel shot up from her seat as she kept her fearful eyes on her friend, noticing the healer and some prefects attending to her as she froze to the spot. Hopefully Nancy will be okay, the third year thought as she wondered if she should go over there or stay out of the way and let the healer do her job.

Divad looked around for a spot of breakfast, he really wanted some eggs, bacon, and maybe those things called, 'pancakes'. He dished himself some of each and hoped that someone would pass him the syrup. He had always loved syrup, and come to think of it, he couldn't remember a time when he didn't.

Divad then looked up and down the long table, in search of Jule and Satine, Maybe even Robert, but alas, his eyes failed him. Shrinking back down, Divad began eating his breakfast. The eggs where delicate, the bacon was just crispy enough, and the pancakes where to die for. This was heaven, if such a place existed.

He then retired back to the Hogwarts Grounds.

Jenn nodded to Mariel's agreement, and turned to look at the Slytherin's table too, with wide brown eyes. She was quite worried about them. All of their belongings, and pets, where down in the dungeons, and well, they were probably soaked, or dead. She felt a tear fall slowly down her cheek, but she brushed it away quickly. She wouldn't cry, unless someone actually died.

Jenn was still looking around when Mariel shot up, and Jenn almost fell out of her seat. "What's wrong?"she asked, looking at Mariel's fear filled eyes. She scaned the area, and spotted what her friend was intently looking at. A girl was lying unconcious, and Jenn thought she might know the girl. Nan...Nanc...Nancy! Finally remembering the name, she looked back, her eyes widdening even more, as she waited to see what was going to happen.

Coming over from the Gryffindor house table, Anna began walking the length of the Ravenclaw table, addressing everyone, groups at a time. "Alright, everyone. Make sure you do just as the professor asked. Remove shoes, socks, and outer robes," she said, making sure every student was aware of the announcement. "Keep them nearby, so that a professor can come along shortly and collect them from you." When she was sure everyone was aware of what to do, she turned from the Ravenclaw table and headed to the other three tables.

OOC: This was meant only for those who were in the dungeons when they flooded. Everyone else is okay.

Satine looked up and down the table looking for Laura and Jules...she was sure they were the only other two Ravvies in the dungeons helping...Jules and her had just been in the water up to their knees, but Laura had been fully submersed...

She called after the Head Girl, "Do we do this even if we just barely got wet?"

Laura had barely sat down. She had too remove her shoes and socks and cloak, even though she was dry! Well, what was the point in that? The young Ravenclaw didn't actually speak aloud, she didn't want to have points deducted for rudeness, but these thoughts whirled around her brain.

Looking around with her stuff in her hand, she could see that many of the Slytherins had had to remove their stuff also. Fumming silently, Laura waited for them to be collected.

"Er, Professor!" she called to no teacher in particular, raising her hand into the air.

Ok, so she was a little more tired than she had thought. The short walk to the Ravenclaw table had left her breathless and she felt herself shake slightly as she finally approached the table. Guess I really do need that Pepper-Up potion... She sighed and leaned on the table for a moment, drawing her blanket more closely around her as she observed the going on at house table.

"Laura? Is there anything I c- can help you with?" she asked as she noticed the girl call for a Professor. They were way too busy now so she might as well help. She walked over to where the girl sat and took a seat next to her, smiling faintly at her as she sat down, arranging the blanket so that it hung loosely on her shoulders.

Looking up for a second to survey the table once again, she noticed Jenn and Kel sitting there too. "Hey guys!" she called out with her hand half-raised, not having enough energy to raise it fully. Dang, maybe I need it urgently... Annoyed that she was so weak, she gave them the same faint smile she had given Ms. Flamel and pulled the blanket more closely around her as her body gave an involuntary shake.

Seeing Rachel join the table and ask if she could help, Laura smiled. "Er..um, I was just worried. I mean, why do we have to hand all of our stuff in? Its all dry, so..." trailing off, she shrugged. It was just her senseless worrying, probably....

Then she noticed that Rachel looked so weak. Oh, how could she have overlooked it? "Rachel?" Laura asked tentatively. "Are you all right." Surely she hadn't looked as bad as that when she had come out of the water. Maybe Rachel had suffered worse than she had. Laura was worrying...again.

Rachel was reluctant to remove her clothing. She was cold as it was, and removing her clothing didn't seem like the best idea if she wanted to stay warm. Shrugging slightly, she put off the mandatory act and concentrated on the little first year as she began to talk, holding on to her blanket as if her life depended on it - and if she really wanted to be melodramatic, then it sort of was.

"Well, truth be told I'm not really sure. Your best bet would be to hold on to that question until some professor comes along, but since I don't think that they'd have enough time to answer questions, I could try answer it for you," she said, then tried to think. Why indeed did they have to take their outer clothes off? Hmm...

Oh! I think I got it... "I'm not really sure, but I think it's because of the potions lab. The flooding in the dungeons probably knocked over some potions and they might have got mixed in the water and contaminated your clothing. Maybe they want to collect the clothing just to check that they're not dangerous," she said, putting her elbow on the table and leaning head on her hand as she talked. But, then again, wouldn't the water have diluted it? Rachel made a face as yet another shiver ran down her body, and she almost groaned aloud.

"What? No, I'm fine - just a little cold, I was down there a little longer than everyone else," she replied Laura, smiling slightly at the girl's concern. But, as soon as I muster up enough guts to take off my shoes and my cloak, I'll be fine since I'll run up - BAREFOOT - to the Hospital Wing and take a dose of Pepper-Up potion... Even her thoughts were sarcastic.

Divad was hungry. So he dished himself some eggs, bacon and waffles. Yea, waffles, they were good.
