Suddenly water seem to seep into the dungeon level, wetting everyone's feet.

Water continued seeping it, rising fast. It was now at waist level and continually rising... The water was cold and dark, green, and murky... and no spell was going to stop its ascent.

Kazimeriz entered the prankster's cell, checking quickly again for anyone. Nothing. The water seemed to still be rising, though its progress seemed slower. Perhaps that was just wishful thinking on his part, however. [i]Merlin, it is so... cold. He leaned against his cane and it slipped, falling into the waters below and lost to him.

Kazimeriz staggered and waded forward, struggling to stay balanced. His hip ached terribly; the cold was no help to him.

He turned and left the chamber.

Ethan stepped into the cell and his foot immediately slipped on something long and cylindrical. He caught himself and checked down his jacket, the cat mewed up at him questioningly and Ethan frowned, feeling the ground with his foot. Was that... it was a stick of some... Uneasy now, Ethan checked the entire room in case Kazimeriz had slipped and gone under. But he wasn't there...

Ethan moved on.
