There was a remarked improvement in Jake's behaviour as he entered the Great Hall and seated himself at the table. He was quiet, patient and still, except for the odd twitch, but that was to be expected. Jake was finally going home.

Home... he missed it.

WOW.
There was distinct lack of students so far in the Great Hall,Sarah noticed as she entered.Glancing about she could see a couple of Ravenclaws,the odd Slytherin and Gryffindor....and one single Hufflepuff.Jake Upstead.
Smiling to herself she went and sat next to the unusually quiet boy. "Hey,Jake! You OK? Terribly quiet in here right now," she sighed,lifting a plate closer to her ready to pile into the food later.Turning her attention back to the shock of pink hair younger boy Sarah leaned on the table studying him. "Sooo you looking forward to going home?"

Emalyn entered the Great Hall, stunned that it was already the end-of-term feast. She sat down, her eyes toward the ground. Would she really be leaving this place? She didn't want to leave, but at the same time she really did. She could see Liam, and of course her family...but Hogwarts was awesome! And she would miss the quidditch. But there was always the next term.

She looked around quizzically. There was hardly anyone there yet. Ah, well...more room for her.

From where his attention had been focused, gazing out towards the window as if he could somehow see his upcoming visit home and then to the beach and THEN camping, Jake realised someone was talking to him and so he looked round, a serene smile stuck on his face. "Hey Sarah," he responded, after a moment of raking through his thoughts for the appropriate name to fit the face. "Yeah, it is quiet... I think people are wanting to stay too badly," Jake added in a pathetic attempt at a joke.

"Home..." he repeated, letting the word reverberate around his mouth, feeling again the great anticipation of what he was speaking of. "Yeah... I can't wait to get back. How about you?"

See, Jake was starting to realise that just because HE was homesick all year, it didn't mean everyone else was.

New and shocking discoveries for the win!

Sarah giggled inwardly at the grin on Jake's face,it looked quite sweet really.Resting the side of her head on her hand,she began twiddling her hair around her finger,stopping only to laugh and nod at Jake's reply. "Yeah probably! Can't make us leave if they can't find us!"

She sensed he wasn't as happy as he was making out.Could have been the long pause as he thought about it.Or maybe she was just being silly and imagining it. "Oh good,good.Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing my family.I'll be seeing my friends and all that so I won't have to miss them.I will miss this place,though," she sighed,gesturing around the vast and near empty Great Hall. "Been an eventful year eh?"

Oh eventful wasn't the word.

Whew, so his joke didn't go down absolutely terribly, Jake smiled up at the girl, following the progress of her rhythmic hair twirling. He nodded, smiling at Sarah and glanced up and down the table. Now he thought about it... where was everyone?

They were slowwwwwwwwwww.

"I'm looking forward to seeing my dad again, and maybe my brother... I need a break from this place," Jake stated, smiling again at the prospect of going home. "And there's other stuff."

... eventful?

"Yeah, you could say that."

You could indeed.

Reese's head hurt still after Cam hit her in the head with his camera. She was sure to get that boy back over the summer. No doubt about that. As she finally got away from the Slytherin table and Cam that thing, she made her way over to the Hufflepuff table to see her brother. She stopped when she reached the table and her brown eyes scanned the students sitting down until they landed on a boy with pink hair.

"Jaaaaake," she called out. She headed over to Jake and took a seat right next to him. "What's up? It's been forever since we've talked."

Hearing his name being called out, as it was more often these days, Jake spun around in search of whoever belonged to that strikingly familiar voice.

"You could say that," he nodded, tilting his head to one side. "I haven't seen you since the christmas holidays, except after the quidditch thing... Did dad tell you that the school sent me to St. Mungo's?" he asked, remembering that he hadn't seen her around that time either. "So... erm... you tell me wassup wiff you first."

Christmas Holidays. That WAS a long time ago. More like months and months ago. "I know. It's sort of my fault, because since the OWLs started I stayed up in my dorm and studied," she explained. "But, they are over now and I'm glad that I don't have to stuff my brain with anymore knowledge." She was so excited that she finished her OWLs and she couldn't wait to get her scores over the summer. That was defiantly something to be proud of.

"The school sent you to St. Mungo's? Whaaat?" She said. "What gave them a reason to sent you there?" Well, Jake has been acting up since the school started, but she really wanted to know the exact reason. What did Jake do that she wasn't aware of? She began to tap her fingers on the table as she waited for him to reply, but Jake had already asked her what she has been up to.

"Oh, nothing much," she answered. "But, I can tell you that your sister has a boyfriend now." That was big news, wasn't it? Of course it was!

"Meh, it happens," Jake shrugged, reaching out for his knife and fork and beginning his routine act of balancing them on top of each other. Yay and stuff.

Haha, so Reese didn't know. "Well, I was acting crazy... I was going crazy, and the Headmaster... he sent me there, and I have to go back, but I'm okay now," Jake explained, smiling in what he hoped was a reassuring way.

"Hmmmm? Oh, that's cool. I broke up with my girlfriend," Jake nodded, forgetting whether or not Reese had known he had been going out with a first year.

At the Ravenclaw table, Clark Landers had just yelled, something that reverberated around the room. "SHANA MILLER IS IN LOVE WITH ME, CLARK LANDERS?"

Clad in her school robes, Simone slowly walked through the great hall. It had been a pretty good year for her, other then all the fighting with Ryder and all...that. Yeah. She took a quick look around the huge room over to the Slytherin table to see if he had arrived yet, but he wasnt there as far as she could see.

Then she looked up to the staff table, where Professor Morgan was seated. SHe needed to speak to her about her plans for summer. They hadnt really gotten to talk much this term. Simone decidedly sat down at the Hufflepuff table...trying to decide when the best time to go talk to the Professor would be.

It was the end of term. And that meant one thing. She was graduating. This was something that she really didnt want to do, but she knew that she had to.
Clutching her bag (for the had some certain items to give to someone in there) She wandered into the great hall, standing at the door for a few moments, which felt like years, before walking over to the hufflepuff table, and sitting down, on her own. Sighing quietly, she rested her bag on her lap, and looked up towards the staff table. She wasn't there yet, that was good in a way. Leaning her elbows on the table, she rested her head in her hands. Last time in this hall. Nice.

Ella entered the Great Hall and went to sit at the Hufflepuff table. She saw her best friend Ema, sitting alone. Ella decided she'd go sit with her.

"Hi Ema," she said. "I can't believe this term is already over. Wow! I'm going to miss you this summer. Will you write?" Ella needed her friends to write to her over the summer or else she'd, like, die or something. She hugged Ema and turned to the golden plate in front of her. What should she eat? Everything looked mouthwatering and delicious.....

Hearing a sudden shout... a shout about two of his friends, Jake turned his gaze towards the Ravenclaw table, just in time to see Shana kissing Clark on the cheek. "Hmmm, I thought she liked me," he mused out loud, smiling up at Reese before shrugging. "At least this means she'll quit stalking me, now," Jake added, glancing back once more before turning back round to face his table.

Clark ran over to the Hufflepuff table. "Jake," he said breathlessly, "Shana....well, she really likes you. Like, she wants to marry you. I proposed to her earlier, and she was like, no I like Jake, and you could just like, tell, that she wanted you to propose to her." Clark then proceeded to take a cookie from the platter.

"Hello Clark. Oh, me? I'm fine! You are too? Excellent," Jake rambled on, talking to thin air before turning back to Clark and taking the conversation seriously. "'Kay, let's see... you proposed to Shana?" he repeated, looking astounded. "Clark... you can't be any older than 14. And me? I can't get married, I'm twelve, and I just broke up with Dani because I don't like relationships... Wait... you PROPOSED to SHANA?"

When did they start going out? Why was he having this conversation? Oyye, halp!

So another year at Hogwarts over and done with. Now would be the time for reflection - what had he learned? Well, he could safely say nothing, really. Professor Kazimeriz should have a year supply of tic tacs, the merfolk princess was kinda hawt in a creepy fish way, BunBunz wasn't edible, wellie boots over the head HURT, werewolves were bad and other things that I, Lee, am far too lazy to type out.

So, FOOD!

Food is always good. Varius liked food - lots and lots of it. Especially carrots and profiteroles. Not gillyweed though. Never, ever again would he be consuming THAT plant!

Oh! More reflections. Never practice kissing with girls. They don't like it most of the time and some even cry and shove toilet paper in every available orifice.

MMMM breadsticks.

"HAPPY END OF YEAR EVERYONE. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," he threw a bowl of salad in the air and it floated slowly back down, over the Hufflepuff table and the majority of people sitting next to Varius. "IMMA MISSS ALLL YOU GUYSSSSSSSSS!"

Reese watched Jake as he balanced his knife and fork on top of each other. She watched him for a few seconds, then turn her attention to a muffin that was on a plate in front of her. The Hufflepuffs wouldn't get mad if she ate their food, will they? Hopefully not. She grabbed the muffin and began to eat it. Yummmmmy yummmmy muffin!

Acting crazy? There was no denying that. Jake had thrown a suit of armor of Anna! If that wasn't crazy enough, what was? She was glad that the Headmaster sent Jake there and that Jake was okay now. "That's good," she replied. "How long did you stay at St. Mungo's for?"

"Yeah, it is cool. I haven't dated anyone in forever and all the other guys I've dated were jerks," she told her brother. "But, you know Jack, don't you? The Gryfffindor Captain and Seeker." She paused for a few seconds then added, "that's who I'm dating."

Girlfriend? GIRLFRIEND?! "Jakers Upstead, you had a girlfriend. Oh my. Who was she?" Reese asked him. She sat her half eaten muffin on the plate in front of her and wiped her hands off on a nearby napkin. "I'm sorry to hear that you two broke up though," she added.

Hearing a familiar voice yell something across the entire Great Hall, she turned her attention to the Ravenclaw table and her eyes landed on a boy with purple hair. Clark Landers. It's been a while since she's seen him. But, wait, what did that boy say? Shana...liked...

Ohmygosh. Shana Miller LIKED Clark Landers? When did this happen? The last time she remembered Shana liked her brother.

"I thought she liked you too," she said as she turned back to Jake. "And, what? Shana stalks you?" She seriously felt like she has been left out of so much stuff this term. First, Shana likes Clark. Now, Shana is a stalker.

Here comes Clark...

She looked up at the boy with the purple air when he spoke about proposing to Shana and Shana's answer was 'no' and then Shana said she still liked Jake. "Clark, you proposed to Shana? You two are only second years," she told him. "Why would you want to get married this early?" He had his whole life ahead of him and he wanted to get married. 12 year old...or was he 13?

Dani. So, that's who Jake dated. Hmm. She didn't know that girl.

Raising an eyebrow at his sister's muffin scarfing habit, Jake couldn't help but smile. He himself was a fan of them, and he even reached out for one before remembering he wasn't allowed them. "I'm allergic to sugar," he said, by means of excusing his sudden reaching out and drawing his hand back motion. "And I was at the hospital for like a week..."

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII think, anyway.

"You're dating the competition?" Jake asked, eyeing Reese sternly. He knew that Gryffindor had ended up not playing Hufflepuff, letting huffies advance to the finals... but had Reese been happy or annoyed about that.

Hmmm.

"Broke up with Dani... 'cause relationships are weirrrrrrrd... and yes, Shana is a stalker."

She really was.

He rushed towards their house table, everybody was there already. Then he saw Jake and Reese together. Oooh. His very first time to see the siblings together. He took a seat beside Jake and helped himself with some kind of chocolate muffins. "Hello mate." greeted Cedric smiling widely then he glanced at Reese. "Hi Reese" Its good to see them before they departed their ways.

Two terms to go and Reese will graduate, He's sure that he'll miss her and he was quite glad that Jake was in his year so they'll graduate together. He just met an odd girl in the dungeon who looks lovely but sneaky.

And he was quite sad that they had reached the end of the term. He wants to plot something. and Torin would love it.

Sensing rather than hearing somebody else coming to sit by him, Jake turned his head again to see someone familiar. "Hey Ced," he smiled, so obviously in a good mood now term was over and he was going home. "What's up?"

"Whaa?" Clark turned his head at Jake, who was talking all fancy like. "Jake....did you take your medicine this morning?" Meh, he had more important problems. "I proposed to Shana, because she said she was in love with me. Before she yelled that....nobody liked me waahh...but then she kissed me and then I proposed to Shana. However, you can get married, because Shana wants you to, and she's a Slytherien, and apparently Slytherien's have power." Clark rolled his eyes. "Did you seriously have to yell that Jake? Really?" Why were all his friends crazy. "Wait...you broke up with Dani?"
Ooh, at least Reese wasn't crazy. "Excuse me, dear dried grape aka a fruit that sounds like Reese and rhymes with Mansion...erm kind of....I'm a third year. I am fourteen years old. I am a Ravenclaw. I can do whatever I like." Clark stuck his tongue out at her. "Ms. Upstead, I am not going to get married this term. Der. I'll wait for at least the summer," (He was fully joking...at that moment.) "But you don't understand. She ate my chicken. And so the only reasonable response was, when we're both out of Hogwarts, we're gonna be going out and I'm going to propose to you at this random conncert because you ate my chicken, and so then I had to propose to her again, because, because, she was in love with me. But then she.....eh, are you following me?"

Medication? "Errrr... n- oh, wait. Yeah I did, actually," Jake nodded, looking round at Clark again... who was apparently on a roll with his rambling today. In fact, all Jake picked up on was him being scolded for yelling, causing the pink-haired boy to quirk an eyebrow. "This coming from you?" he asked, remembering distinctly about 2 minutes previously when Clark's voice had reverberated around the hall.

"Yeah, broke up with her... at the camp-out. And she slapped me, even though I was being nice and she's leaving Hogwarts anyway... pfft..." he muttered, glancing over at the Ravenclaw table as he did so.

No sign.

Wait.

"Sounds like Reese... rhymes with Mansion?" Jake mumbled, frowning and trying to work that one out. It took him such concentration that he didn't realise a certain Professor was now in the vicinity. He'd taken a break (brain ache and all that jazz) before he noticed the woman sitting next to Professor Lawson.

Wait... when did he get there.

Bleh, maybe she'd make her way over here later... Jake had nooooooo desire to go up to the staff table.
