Ricco walked into the room that was named Hooligan Hole, he was curious as to what the Professor wanted him to do but he wasnt really caring whaat he had to do he just wanted to do it and get it over and done with. Leaning against the nearest wall he thought about back home, he missed it there and he couldnt wait till he could go back.

"What is taking him so long" he said out loud after he had been waiting there for almost Twenty minutes. His back was starting to get sore and was getting a little damp from the wettish wall. He had got bored of humming to himeself a while ago and had started to play I-Spy with himself, but surely enough I-spy is atleast a game for 2 so he decided to stop and just stare straight ahead.

Strolling into the dunegon, Marcus gave his wand a wave over himself so that he wouldn't have to smell the awful stench coming from the room. with his wand still out, he silently accio'd Mr Santos' wand and pocketed it.

"Your game leaning against the wall like that. This room is infested with Bundimun's." He gave the kid a little smirk, wondering if he even knew what Bundimun's were. "So your first job will be to collect the Bundimun's secretion because it comes in handy and I'm sure the house elves will thank you for it. Then you will clean this dungeon from top to bottom." Marcus flicked his wand and provided the kid with some jars to put the secretion into and then some buckets of water and one very small scouring brush.

"I would get started if I were you because I have a lot more jobs for you to do before you can leave here." Marcus conjured himself a chair and foot rest and sat down and propped his feet up and stretched out comfortably.

Ricco watched as the Professor walked into the weird smelling room, in an instant his wand had flown out of his side pocket and straight into his hands, "Oi" he said angered at the Professor for taking his wand. Even though his anger was still there he decided that he shoulld listen to the professor. Bundimun? he thought, He had heard that name before. After a few seconds of thinking he remembered and suddenly he jumped away from the wall. Sure enough there was pretty much a colony of them heading towards the place that he was leaninig against, "Thanks" he muttered.

The Professor had saved him from being touched by those highly acidic creatures, Bundimuns could even destroy a house with their Secration as it is highly acidic. When the professor said that he was to clear up the secration , his jaw dropped. "Is this some kind of joke" he said as the professor proceeded to tell him to clean the whole dungeon.

Watching as the Professor that he had heard being called Lawson set up a chair and footstool Ricco cracked all the fingers in his hand and turned to face the Bundimuns that were all staring at them with their evil eyes. Thats what Bundimuns were to Ricco, Pure evil , and this Professor wanted him to clear up their Secration without losing his hand...He must be crazy. Looking at the professor again he saw that he was now spread across the seat looking straight up so sneaking over to him he saw that the footstool was made of metal which would be able to last long enough for him to get atleast half of the secration into the jars. Leaninng down, he kept out of sight from the professor, he Ripped one of the metal legs of the footstool and ran back to the wall before the whole thing tipped over.

Sighing as he leant over he pretended he had done nothing as he opened it while keeping the small metal pole hidded. Ricco didnt want to get his detention extended but he would rather having it extended than lose it to one of these vile and evil creatures. Pulling his cloak over his hand he began to get nervous that when he scraped the secrement off the wall would land on it. Taking the metal pole he kept it out of the Professor's view and started to scrape the green goo into the first of the pots.

Really!! Did this kid think he was stupid or something? Marcus flicked his wand at the stool and conjured another leg before the stool could topple over. "You're not very bright are you Mr Santos. Was I just supposed to believe that the leg of this stool just fell off am I?" His patience was really staring to wear thin with this kid.

"You're facing another week Mr Santos, if you don't hand back that leg right now." When did these kids ever learn?

Ricco decided that it was in his best intrests to bring the leg back to the professot before he got another week so walking over to him he handed back the leg. "What am i supposed to use to get it off the wall then" He asked as he looked back to the wall with all the green things, upon closer inspection he could see tiny parts of the wall crumbling onto the ground.

Marcus raised an eyebrow as he took the leg back from the kid. "I'm sure you are smart enough to figure something out" he answered. He had provided the kid with jars and lids, it really shouldn't be that hard to use the equipment he had been given. He stretched back out again and kept his face blank.

Ricco just stared at the jars for a couple of minutes to figure out what he could use to get the Bundimun Secration off of the wall, Suddenly it came to him when he saw the lid from the bottle that he had filled about one third of the way, He would be able to use the lis to scrape it off the wall straight into the bottle. Walking over her picked up the bottle that already had some of the green ooze in it and he picked up its lid, then walking over the wall he began to scrape it off of the wall into the jars. after 10 minutes he finally finished filling the first jar so picking up the next jar he unscrewed the lid and began to scrape the ooze off of a diffrrent part of the wall.

After an hour he finally filled all 4 jars and as soon as he did he screwed the lid on the final jar and took a seat on the ground to give himself a rest.

Busy amusing himself with shooting flies with his wand, Marcus stopped momentarily when he noticed the kid sit down on the floor. "Tired already are we? Big tough guy like you? An hour's work and already you're exhausted." Axe shook his head and chuckled. "On your feet Mr Santos, you still have a dungeon to clean and I do believe I have pudding to eat." He got to his feet and vanished the chair and foot stool. "I want this place spotless by the time I get back and by then I should have your next task." With that Marcus walked out of the room and slammed the door behind him, leaving the kid on his own.

Ricco growled as the Professor left the dungeon, he was almost tempted to follow him and just leave but decided that it would be best not to so standing up he got the small brush and began to clean, to start of with he began to scrub the floors dunking the brush iin the water every few seconds when it got to dirty which happened to be alot as the floor was covered in everything from dust to dead animals. It had taken him what seemed like 3 hours to clean up the floor but it was probably shorter.

After he was sure the floor was done he spilled a little bit of water near the door and began to clean the walls, The walls were easiier to clean as all he could clean was the parts that did not have the Bundimuns in them so it took a much shorter time. Finally he had finished cleaning he sat back down on a patch of the floor that was dry and waited on the Professor to come back. Ricco hoped that it wasnt cleaning as that was the one thing he hated.

The door of the dungeon flew open and Marcus stood just inside the door and scanned the room before him. It was better but it certainly wasn't perfect. Giving his wand a flick, he set up a small work station in the corner. "Right Mr Santos, since you seem to be so good at crushing things. Bucket number one contains scarab beetles that need to be crushed into a fine powder. Bucket two, contains flobberworms that need to be juiced and bucket three contains murtlaps that need to be pickled."

Marcus looked at the boy sitting on the floor and raised an eyebrow, the kid better have more stamina than that because he had plenty more for him to do. "Right now get started, don't waste any of the ingredients and do NOT make a mess. You have everything you need and if you don't I suggest you improvise, I'll be back in a bit." And again he left the boy on his own.

Ricco watcched as the professor left the dungeon so getting up he decided to start with the one that would be hardest, taking the bucket filled with murtlaps Ricco started to take them out one by one, scraping the stuff that wwas off its back into one of the jars that was left. It took him about 15 minutes to get it all in 2 of the jars so taking some of the water he poured it into them. Ricco was doing this as trial and error as he didnt have any vinegar but he hoped that something else that was acidic was enough, walking over to the wall he scraped some of the Bundimun secration into the water and the murtlaps and left both bottles to lie on the table.

Taking the second bucket he tipped all of the flobberworms onto the workdesk making sure that none of them made a getaway, starting at the ones that were closest to the edge he began to squeeze the liquid out of both sides into more tubs that were empty before moving onto the next one each time placing the unused flobberworms into the bucket, after about half an hour he was three qaurters of the way done and decided to work a little faster in hopes that the professor would be kind. Finally he was done so taking the tubs he placed it beside the two tubs filled with the pickling murtlap essence.

Looking into the tub of scarab beetles Ricco watched them all climb ontop of each other to see who would get to the top and stay there while the weaker ones have to stay in the dark at the bottom, Looking around the dungeon he wondered what he could use to crush them, out of the corner of his eye he spotted the bucket filled with the unused flobberworm parts, so walking over he picked it up and placed it onto the scarabs. Ricco was hoping that this would work so alligning the bucket over the scarabs he pressed as hard as he could onto them. For a few seconds what sounded like shrills of pain emitted from the bucket into the still dusty dungeon. Knowing that pressing down wasnt going to be enough he bagan to move the bucket in circles aswell as pressing down in hopes that it would help.

Ricco was still crushing 10 minutes later after checking several times to see that the powder was not fine enough. Lifting it up once more he looked down to see that there was what looked like a fine powder so wanting to check if it wwas he shook the bucket and sure enough the tiny bits of what looked like dust moved around the bucket.

Happy that he had finished he lifted everything onto the clean table and watched as the murtlap pick;ed. Ricco was hoping that the professor was kind as he wanted to sign up for Quidditch so deciding that he was going to ask if he could sign up he lay against the work bench.

Lawson entered the room and headed over to the wok table he had set up and looked over the work that Mr Santos had completed. "Not bad, not bad at all." He raised an eyebrow at the boy as he lazed against the table. "Hard work is definitely not your thing is it? I thought to be in Hufflepuff, you are supposed to be hard working and all that?"

Ricco just looked at the professor as he began to make conversation, i am hard working....when it comes to Care of magical creatures he screamed in his head. "Well i am hardworking when i want to be or if i particulary like something, for example i enjoy Care of Magical Creatures , and i also enjoy Quidditch" He said dropping the hint about quidditch "They calm me down and keep me behaved". Ricco was trying to make the idea of letting him sign up for the Quidditch team almost irresistable. Deciding that it was time to ask Ricco stood away from the workbench and asked him straight out "I was wondering if i can sign up for the Hufflepuff quidditch team sir". Most people would have said it slowly but Ricco decided that he wasnt going to be nervous even though he was shaking inside.

"I will do more detentions for you if it means i can" He said hoping that he would just say that he could sign up and not need to do more detentions with him. Ricco still had to meet that other professor bt he decided that if he was allowed to go he would qickly sign up then come back down and speak with him.

Marcus listened patiently to the boy's plea and he shook his head slightly. The boy had shown violent tendencies and a game of quidditch calmed him down? "Honestly, Mr Santos tell me why I should let you out of detention early so that you can sign up for quidditch? You're here for punishment Mr Santos and letting you do exactly what you want to do hardly counts as a punishment now does it?"

Ricco began to srggle for things to do when sddenly a great idea came to him "Do you know that Slytherin called Lettie" He said "The one who's hand i....broke". Ricco wasnt proud that he had broken her hand so he decided to make it up to her "How about i say sorry to her and if she wants take her down to that little village for the day". Ricco knew that it wasnt a great idea but he owed it to her.

"You know Mr Santos, you have totally read my mind." Lawson flicked his wand and conjured some parchment and a quill. "You will write Lettie an apology and I mean a very good apology. I want you to explain why you did what you did and why you will never do it again. If I am satisfied with what you have written, then I will let you go." Marcus gestured for the kid to take a seat. "But there will be conditions, the first being you will read your apology to Lettie, out loud and then you will make it up to her however she sees fit." he moved over to the door and looked back before he made his exit. "And I will be speaking to Lettie, myself to make sure you are keeping your end of the bargain. I shall give you some time to write your apology."

Ricco sighed when he was asked to write a letterm he wasnt good at spelling or writing letters but he decided to try his best so taking a piece of paper and a Quil he began to scribble onto the paper,

sticking his pen down after two failed attempts, Ricco started to wonder what to say for his final attempt so deciding to go with the flow and speak from the heart he began to write quickly.

As soon as he was done Ricco place the piece of paper on the desk as he waited for Professor Lawson to come back to read it and to see if it is ok.

Walking back into the room, Marcus peered over Ricco's shoulder and looked at the letter he had written. "Tsk, tsk Mr Santos, I think you can do better than that. Nowhere does it state why you did it. Try again and put some effort into it, otherwise you are going to be here for a while." He went and stood in the corner of the room and waited.

Ricco was annoyed that the professor didn't like his letter, its not as if it was him he was sending it but wanting to get out he rewrote the letter.

Ricco finished again blushing a little as he looked at the bit were he called her Beautiful, Ricco had told the honest truth in his letter as infact he did like her.

Noting the blush on the kid's face, Marcus raised an eyebrow and read the letter. "Mr Santos, it seems you have a little crush on Lettie. Usually when someone likes someone else, they don't try and crush their hand. I think you may have got the meaning of that a little confused." he handed the letter back to Ricco. "If you like her so much I think you can put a lot more feeling into that letter. How about you give it another try?"

Ricco was starting to get sickk of writing this letter and he had a feeling he was going to be in this room that was starting to get cold for a while yet.

Reading the letter, Marcus sighed deeply. It was obviously the best the kid could do. "Alright Mr Santos, that will have to do I suppose. You are to read out this letter to Lettie and believe me I will know if it has been done. Think yourself lucky that I am in a generous mood today but put just a toenail out of line and I'll have you back in this detention so fast it will make your head spin and you'll be in here until the end of term. Now go before I change my mind." He took the kid's wand out of his pocket and held it out to him.

"Thank you sir" Ricco said as he took his wand and shuffled away to find lettie somewere in the castle. He was hoping it did not take too long to find her but he wasnt looking forward to how red he was going to get when he read it out to her.

Suddenly water seem to seep into the dungeon level, wetting everyone's feet.
