There was really... nothing spectacular about it. Jake was just... quiet. And devastated, can't be forgetting that. He entered the room, eyes cast downwards, hiding the way they were red-rimmed and bloodshot, and heading for a cluster of where there were less tables. He was near a window, so he could stare out and distract himself. "Hey S-" Jake started, before glancing up and noticing Truebridge was reading. Instead he shrugged and sat down, slouching back in his chair, looking distinctly...

... apathetic.

Ahhh, Professor Truebridge. Anna was going to miss this professor once she'd graduated, that was for sure. He always managed to keep things interesting...and thank Merlin he'd forgiven her for the act she pulled in Diagon Alley back when was a sixth year. She strolled into class, textbook in hand, and stopped for a moment by the professor's desk. She started to say hello to him, but he appeared to be very interested in a book, so she'd refrain from conversation. To be polite, though, she sort of waved a little, then passed by his desk and looked for a seat of her own.

The classroom wasn't set up quite like it usually was, but then again, Anna was sort of used to rearranged classrooms to accommodate different lessons. She slid into a seat near the front, cracked her textbook open, and began to read.

Herminny made her way to her seccond HOM class hoping it would not be as crazy and insane like last time. As she walked in the room she noticed the desks were arranged differently and the professor was completely engrossed in a book. She wondered what book engrossed him so and and if it may have to do with the class but decided not to bother him as she took a seat and waited for more people to show up and class to start.

Plymouth moseyed into class. Hm. Where to sit? Or rather where would they sit? As he pondered this, Plymouth stroked his chin and took a small detour to pass close by Truebridge's desk. He ran his fingers along the front of the desk, checked out the Professor was reading, and generally hung out up there for a moment.

"Hehe."


And Plymouth took a seat on the edge of the desk formation, towards the front.

Clark waltzed into the classroom with his textbook. Jake was...still crying. Oh, well. He sat down in seat that was relatively near his buddy and smiled at him. "How ya holding up?" he asked him and stared at the proffesser.

He itched his head, distracted. About a lot of things-Natka, Dani, Jake, allergies, being a duck for that thirty minutes, sporks quidditch, etc. Why was Hogwarts so confusing??

Walking into the room, William blinked and looked at the arrangement of tables set up. Frowning slightly he noticed Jake and made a bee-line towards him, sitting on the table closest to him as someone sat down on the chair he was going to take. Plopping down on the chair with a tense sigh, he ran a hand through his hair and looked around. Pulling out his stuff he crossed his arms, frowning deeply.

Cam had a pretty good day, he had some yummy stuff for his breakfast and he was healthy as ever! Well not really healthy... kinda? Yeah. He walked into the classroom only to find out the desk arrangement was changed and that the professor was reading a book. Ewwww booksss. He haateedd reading and stuff like that. He only read fun books like... books about stuff he liked. Those were the best books. He took a seat and waited for the class to begin, wondering what the heck they were going to learn about today.

"'SUP Prof -?" Oh.. he was reading. Clifford's greeting was cut off short when he noticed Professor Truebridge appeared to be quite immersed in the book he was reading. Had he missed class? ... no, there were others in here. Hmmm.

Shrugging, the seventh year moved further inside the classroom and plonked himself down behind one of the desks.

Lyra walked into class with a smile on her face. Great Professor, great class...YUP! She was happy. This was going to be fun no matter what they were doing, kind of like in Bunny Bunbunz' class.

She strolled in behind Banana, walking up to the desk and really didn't care if he was engrossed in a book or not. "Hello, professor," she said with a hop in her step then followed Anna towards the rearranged desk. "Banana, you look lovely today." Such a female thing.

Lucy entered the History of Magic class, eager to know what today's lesson would be about. 'Hmm...the classroom looks different.' She thought sitting down in a seat. She placed her new book, parchment, and quill on her desk. She had had to order new supplies since all her old stuff had been flooded. 'Stupid flood.' "Hello Professor Truebridge." She said.

Copernicus didn't want to distract the professor from his book, so he quietly look a seat near the front but a respectful distance from Plymouth. He was doing his best to give his step-brother all sorts of space, which was really hard. He missed the guy.

Celandine walked into class, books in tow. She looked around the room, her eyes landing on Copernicus first, then Lyra and Anna, Cam, The Quidditch God, Pink Haired boy... and finally Plymouth.

She moved to sit at the same cluster of desks that he'd chosen, biting her lip nervously and hoping he wouldn't run away.


Oh yeah...

"Hi professor..."

Mari entered the classroom quietly, moving directly to a cluster of three desks, not really wanting to be in a large group of people. She put her book on the table and set up a sheet of parchment or two on the desk before putting her quill there. She didn't know what to expect, so she just prepared for at least some notetaking. She looked around, noticing several people she did know, but not really feeling the urge to actually sit near any of them at the moment. Which was sort of good, actually.

Lawliet walked into the HoM classroom and wanted to greet the professor - until he noticed that he was reading (and he was really into it). The Slytherin boy glanced around the classroom for a family face and he noticed Clifford - the Slytherin Head Boy he had met at one of their previous lessons.

He walked over to him swiftly, gave him a small smile and took a seat beside his while waiting quietly for class to begin.

"Hello Jake, Anna, Plymouth, Clark, William, Cameron, Clifford, Lyra, Lucy, Copernicus, Celandine, Mari and Lawliet." Truebridge greeted, without taking a breath. He put his book in his desk drawer and looked around the classroom.

"I suppose you want to learn something. Preferably interesting enough to keep you occupied, without being difficult enough to require too much thinking? I'm guessing something boring is out of the question?" Ethan was completely serious with his questions, his expression deadpan.

"It might be a little boring, but I will endevour to make it relatively painful for you. Today we are going to talk about Wizarding organizations. Teams, clubs, councils, orders, secret societies and the like. Hands up to tell me any that you are aware of, both historically and in a contemporary sense."

Jake's hand went up in the air as he gazed out of the window, picking up on every sound made in the classroom. "Do the Death Eaters count?" he asked, going straight for the evil side, whether it was right or not.

BLAH!

Lucy raised her hand, ready to start answering questions. "The Order of the Phoenix was a secret society. It was started by Albus Dumbledore during the first and second Wizarding War to help stop the Dark Lord."

Rachel, who had walked in silently minutes before the professor had began talking, now stared up at Professor Truebridge with a slightly confused expression. Something interesting? Painful? What was going on? The fifth year decided to put the matter to the back of her head and concentrate on the lesson. After all, she was having a hard time as it was, with her eyes trailing to the corner where Reid and her had met for the first time.

Raising her hand, Rachel took a few seconds to think before asking, "Professor, they aren't exactly a club... But do the Wizengamot count? And how about the actual Ministry?"

Mariska raised her hand, for once glad for her knowledge of Quidditch. " Professor, Quidditch would count for one, since it's an organization of different teams and such, wouldn't it?" She sort of stated it and then thought again. " There are also clubs for fans of the teams to, now that I think on it." She put her hand down again, going back to being silent and letting others talk instead.

William put his hand up, not having a clue what organizations there were. This was one topic he didn't really like but since he wanted to show he at least knew something he said, "Um, would the Official Gobstoppers Club be one?" He asked frowning as he blinked.

"There's the Quidditch teams, both within the school and throughout the world," Lawliet replied, his hand raised. "And there's also Dumbledore's Army, which was a secret club formed by Harry Potter to fight against Lord Voldemort from back in the day," he added as an afterthought.

Daniel raised his hand to participate, "Professor, do the Inquisitorial squad count?" he said for that is the first thing that pops into his mind when the word Wizarding organizations cane up. "And then there is the Slug Club."

Demetria raised her hand. "What about Dumbledore's Army?" she asked. "I'm not sure if it qualifies as official, but it's still a good organization."

"What about the ministry of magic?" Kel asked, raising his hand. It was an organization, wasn't it? And it had to be started, at some point. He kinda hoped it counted, because he had no ideas other than that.
