seeing that noone was in the corner, Lilly decided to take refuge in the quiet. even after 2 days it seemed she would never get a moments peace so she thought she would take advantage of it and read a good book. *sigh* she was content. she had quiet, a good book, and bertie botts every flavor beans. this was the life!

Kailey saw a first year sitting at a chair in the study area, she decided she would go over and introduce herself since the other girl looked to be about the same age.

"Hi," Kailey said sticking her hand over the girls book, somewhat rudley, but Kailey never noticed rudeness or caught on to sarcasm. "I'm Kailey, and you are..."

"Lilly Mae Rodriguez. First year. and reading a book." Lilly said

Kailey was totally oblivious to the girls curt tone, "Nice, I'm a second year. What book are you reading? Is it good? Rodriguez... are you from Spain? I have a cousin who lives there, he's from my Muggle side of the family though so I don't see him much. Are you going to try out for Quidditch? I am, beater I think. I already filled out an application. I didn't play last year because I didn't go to school here. My parents got divorced and the Muggle courts put me with my mum and she is my Muggle parent, my Dad's the wizard. Now I live with him though. Is Slytherin winning in house points? Suprising isn't it? looks like we have some good gryffies gaining back house points," Kailey paused to catch her breath.

right. Lilly saw that this girl was not going to leave her alone so she decided to just answer her questions and be done with it. "I am reading the Tales of the Beetle and the Bard. yes it is good very good actually." she said this out loud but thought 'yes it's good and i would like to continue reading it' however she was to nice to say that out loud. no i am not from Spain. my great grandfather was though. i live in the united states of America. yes i did try out for quiddich. i will be whatever player is avaliable." she said. wow this girl could really talk it was going to take forever to answer all these questions. so she dicided to ignore the part about her parents and family. she really wasn't much into talking about family after her mom died. so she continued before she started crying. "yeah the slytherin are winning. it's kinda odd that we are dead last." she continued. "well, i want to finish my book i only have a little left so i am going to read now." Lilly said and went back to her book."

Naomi sat down at one of the tables and pulled out her notebooks, books, and a quill. She also pulled out a muggle invention that her father introduced her to, notecards. She flipped openned her notebook and started to fill out information she found.

"fun, fun," said kailey, "My favorite story is the Fountain of Fair Fortune. No way I live in America too! Although lots of people do now adays, so its not that big a deal. I think American food is awesome, wizard food is...well...I'm unacustmed to it, anyway I think I'm going to go see if the house elves will whip me up a snack, see you around."

"um ok" Lilly responded not quite sure what to think. as the girl left she returned to her book.

Via settled herself on one of the chairs at the study area of the Common room. She was all alone, and she glanced at the empty chairs right before her eyes and imagined herself back at Belle's. Astrid, Allie, Sabrina, Usa were there. They were all doing homeworks together. She snapped her mind before she could even soak again her eyes and brought out a piece of parchment and her notebook on which she had copied the History of Magic
homework.

She pulled her quill- not her favourite one but a Quill from the joke shop- on her pocket and grabbed an ink bottle ready for use at the table. Flipping through the pages of the notebook, she found the page and started reading the homework.

Naomi walked over to the study tables and took out a piece of paper and started to scribble a note.
She looked at the note and smiled. Perfect! She posted on the wall next to the study tables and went to sit in one of the lounge chairs.
