Default Dungeon Corridor

Down the staircase to the left of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall lie the dungeons of Hogwarts. In order to reach the various classrooms, dungeons, and the Slytherin Common Room you have to make your way through the creepy, dark, corridors...

There was the Hufflepuff Vindictus told her something she should be telling her during the feast. But, now, Kaika didn't even remember.

Ummm, yes, the water seems to be everywhere, of course. Well, it seemed to be that way, but she was not sure.

Oh, the new Captain was here, well, why wouldn't she? She was a Slytherin and their Common Room was somewhere around. Then she spoke, "I don't know...I was waiting outside of Kazimeriz's office and then, well, then the water started to come" the question relied on 'where did it come from?', that was the most important fact.

Oh, no. Kazimeriz. He never left the office. Someone better go look if he's alright. Yes, he was probably alright, he was Kazimeriz after all.

She looked up at the Hufflepuff captain as she spoke to her. Why did everyone have to be taller than her? "Well this water didn't just spring up. Who did it?" She asked looking around for signs of Myrtle. She was always flooding the toilets.

And, the water seemed to have cleared out most of the corridor, yes, Kaika should've left the waiting area sooner.
Anna studied the water, idea after idea after idea rolling around in her head. Most didn't exactly paint the prettiest scenario for anyone in the dungeons at the moment. "Kaika, soo...lovely to see you here today," Anna replied, smiling at the girl for a plit second before looking back down at the water. She couldn't help but imagine the possibility of the lake caving in and decorating the dungeons with water and creatures of the sort. Or maybe...maybe Myrtle was around and had clogged up the drains, causing water from the bathrooms to create a lake of the dungeons. "I don't," she answered, "...Professor Kazimeriz's office, too, though? What's he doing about it?" she asked.

"MY SHOESSSSSSS!" Not her beautiful Bunbury Idol shoes? Not her favorite pair. "Warning! A warning would've been good." Her words came out mumbly as she lifted up one foot at a time to remove the shoes from her feet. They were waterproof but no one needed to know that and she was sure that they were only meant to be wet for a short amount of time.

And then Banana gave the warning. "Too late! I already know about the water," she growled as she began splashing around. "Where is that Myrtle? And...wow! It seems to be everywhere down here." Well, let her state the obvious of course! DUH!
"Fritzera...he's a fifth year Gryffindor who has supposedly attended Hogwarts since his very first year. I don't know whether or not to believe him, though. No one's heard of the boy! How can anyone remain unheard of for four years?" she replied, eyes still on the floor. "Nevermind Fritzera, though. He got us down here, now...we should get going soon, you know." Anna was Head Girl, though. She wasn't going to take off running like a little four-year-old and leave all her fellow students behind, some possibly not even knowing about the flood yet. At least the water didn't seem to be getting any deeper, though. At the moment, that is...

"Yes, yes, your shoes," Anna half-fussed. "Just...hey, aren't those waterproof?" Anna didn't know much about fashion, but the texture of the shoes did look a little...able to tolerate water. "Oh, will you stop fussing and help me figure out what's the matter? Surely there's a nearby bathroom not in the Common Room. Could you see if you can locate one?" she asked. "Myrtle!!!" she called out again. Where, oh, where was that ghost when you needed her???

"Pepeeeeeee? Oh Headmaster Mister ReyRey Pepe Bontecouuuuucoooouuuu," Myrtle called out loudly, popping out of the wall behind the Slytherin common room.

She froze and turned a pale(r?) shade of grey, however, when students appeared at the same time she was, only they were looking for her instead of the Headmaster? Odd, this people were.

"It wasn't me," the ghostie mumbled right away, swishing her dress and floating toward the Head Girl oh-so-innocently. "Why are you looking for me anyways? I didn't do aaaaaaaanything."

She blinked through her glasses a few times and bit her lip to keep it from trembling. They wouldn't make poor, innocent, moaning moping Myrtle cry, would they?

Kaika nodded, it was all too weird, or maybe not 'too weird' but strange, to be a simple water leak, right?

"Who did it?" she repeated, "Well, as much as I want to believe that someone did it..." she started to say, "...I think it was something" and that idea was not too much to her liking, simply because, well, it was creepy.

Still, there were many questions, and as long as Kaika is concerned, the corridor and Kazimeriz's office were involved in this whole water thing, no saying whether the Slytherins got affected by it or not.

Lovely? Maybe. Not sure if it was lovely to see someone in the Dungeons, but still. "Yes, no, I mean, to me it's quite a relief, actually" yes, at first, because maybe she had any idea of what was going on.

Oh, she doesn't know.

Still, it was nice to see someone familiar. "He...He never got out of the office" she said, tilting her head to one side, "I was waiting for my turn to step inside, but decided to leave when the water appeared, so, I don't know where he is" she shrugged, trying to make it less important, but the truth was she was dying to find out about the Professor's current status.

"Well, I assume he's still in his office" and he'll probably be mad about the water, too.

Myrtle? "Why are you calling for Myrtle?" yes, as odd as it sounded, a ghost could be of better help than a Professor at this moment.

And there was that Hufflepuff Quidditch girl that she didn't know. Lyra shrugged her shoulders as she heard another person plopped down in the water, but this time they fell. "Paris are you okay," she asked as there was a part of her that wanted to laugh and if it'd been anyone else, she would have but the poor girl fell and hurt more than just her backside.

She then turned back to Banana as the girl was definitely one of her friends and one who could talk back in the same fuss that she made. "OH! That's ice cream dude," she said with another splash of water as the Banana called out Myrtle's name again.

And so the Gryffindor girl figured out that her shoes were waterproof. "Well, yes they are waterproof but I still don't want them wet." And there was another sound that came out...

"And there she is..." Lyra said as Myrtle appeared from within the wall. "So where is the water coming from Myrtle? What bathroom did you flood now?"

Natasha looked up with a frown as Myrtle appeared. This whole thing was really weird, and on top of that Myrtle had now appeared looking really innocent. Annd she was biting her lip, which seemed a rather typical thing for Myrtle, but... Stilll.

She looked around at the others that were there before looking back at Myrtle.

Ohhh, that voice! That voice! Anna would no it from anywhere! As expected, and hoped, Myrtle herself popped out of a nearby wall, yelling for 'Professor RayRay PePe something-or-another. Nevermind what she called him, she was here! Finally here! They'd yelled loudly enough, and she'd heard and come to help save the day...hopefully.

"Oh, Myrtle! Myrtle, Myrtle, Myrtle!" Anna called out, sloshing through puddle after puddle of water and heading over to the ghost. Anna stopped halfway, though, seeing as the ghost was headed her way. Her mind racing a million miles a minute, Anna spoke. "No, no. It wasn't you. I was caling for help, you see. These floors...!" Anna explained, picking up her feet one at a time and examing the flood beneath her. "I was hoping you had an idea as to what was causing this, or maybe you could help...in...some...way?" she asked.

Oh, Merlin. She wasn't going to cry, was she? She was... "Now, now. Please don't cry. We know how...helpful...you can be, so we really hope you'll stick around and share some ideas if you have any," she said. "Speaking of help, you were calling for the headmaster, yes? He seems to be missing in action. He and the healer... I'm afraid we've seen neither so far."

Upon hearing Kaika's quite confusing answer, Anna tore her eyes away from Myrtle just for a moment to try and figure out what the girl was saying. "Erm, what? I'm sorry. Could you state that again?" Anna asked, turning to look down at the water. Nope, not rising...yet. Should she alert those in the Common Room? Ask them to move to a higher level? Maybe so. "Erm, are they any Slytherins around?" she asked Kaika. "I believe it would be wise for them to alert their housemates of the situation. I imagine the water situation is the same in there as it is here, but we don't want to assume, either."

"Never got out?" Anna asked, suddenly going a bit pale in the face. The way the answer was worded, Anna could imagine poor Kazimeriz trapped in his office with water rising at higher levels than he could cope with. He would be able to get out, though, right? There was nothing that man couldn't do. "Oh, I do wish he'd come out. Maybe he could give us some insight, as well. I would love to know what was going on."

"Myrtle," she answered, "...knows this place inside and out. If anyone knows the reasoning behind this unusual situation, it's her." Maybe the ghost knew, maybe she didn't, but Anna knew it'd be good to get her opinions or assistance right now either way.

Anna heard Lyra's comment about Jack, but she didn't reply to it in any way. Fritzera was the least of her worries right now. He had run a few levels up after warning her of the danger down in the dungeons. He was probably far, far away from the flood at the moment. She did sort of wonder where the "Ice Cream Dude" nickname came from, but that'd be a conversation that would have to wait until later...much later, from the looks of it. Anna simply shook her head at Lyra not wanting her waterproof shoes wet. Le sigh. Onlyyy Lyra. Well, only Lyra and maybe Bunbury, too. Anna could imagine the Herbology professor having a fit over flooded shoes, too.

"Lyra Noir," Anna hissed, frowning at her friend for accusing the ghost of flooding a bathroom. Who knew...it could very well be true, but causing Myrtle to cry at a time like this would be no good at all. Besides that, Myrtle and her tears could cause a flood that would put whatever this was to shame. "Mrytle is here to help us...assist us in the cause of the flood. She knows all there is to know about this castle, and I'm positive she can help us." She leaned closer to Lyra and whispered, "Do try to be more poilte, please..."

She looked up at Myrtle finally appeared, "Isn't it a little early to be flooding the castle Myrtle dear?" she asked sweetly. She didn't feel like getting into anything heavy with the ghost that would send her on a whiny pout session throughout the school.

The first year had heard noises coming from below, so naturally he was going to check it out. Cy Andrus bounded down the steps into the dungeon corridor only to find the place had been watered up pretty good. He stepped into the water fearlessly, splashing about.

He smiled wryly as he spotted some people he knew in the distance, Lyra Noir and ‘the captain’. Time for mission ‘dungeon get all the girls wet extravaganza’, if he was to choose to except it… and of course he would. Cy did a front roll into the water and come out of his tuck completely soaked. Ooohhh it was just too perfect.

The sheila’s were ahead, and Cy decided he’d strike Lyra first, captain second. With his small stature, he might make his approach unnoticed. The first year sprinted full speed at Lyra Noir, who was facing away from him, water was splashing everywhere as he ran. Once he was mere feet away from her he jumped into the air and hopped on to the seventh years back. His sopping wet clothes all over her now. Water was dripping heavily from his shaggy hair and loose clothing.

“Oh is thah’ you Lyra? You thirsty? I think I could wring enough watah’ outta me’ hair to feed a camel.” He smiled wryly as he put his wet hands on her shoulder for a better grasp.

Myrtle started her traditional pigtail twirl now. "Um, the water cycle?" Heheheeee. "I haven't flooded ANY yet, for your information," she added in a haughty tone. "Unless...unless you girls want to help me??!"

Her voice went up about an octave at the end of her sentence, she was so excited. What if they would alllllllll be her friendsssss? Oh happy day!

These floors...!" Oh, Merlin. She wasn't going to cry, was she? She was... "Now, now. Please don't cry. "Isn't a little early to jump to CONCLUSIONS?!" Myrtle rounded on that Slytherin captain and zoooomed through her, coming to a rest up on one of the dungeon wall scones. "I didn't do it....yet."

Hmmph. Give them something to think about.

Never mind. The question about Myrtle was surely answered as soon as Anna spoke to the ghost, who came almost immediately after called. Was that how those things worked?

Ummm...Interesting.

Panic over Kazimeriz's well-being. Now that's something to be concerned about.

Still, Kaika waited to see if Myrtle had something to say about all this. Or at the very least, help them out.

Lyra jumped back slightly as Banana's tone changed. "Calm the 'tude Banana," Lyra said with a raised brow and a giggle. "I believe you thought it to be Moaning crying Myrtle too." That ghost didn't help her last year and just seemed to be all talk and no play with the KrazyKazi incident. Well, she still needed to be nice to the ghost.

"Yeah, I'm sure she could help alright," she smarted off, turning her attention towards Paris.

She shrieked and swiped at the ghost as she floated through her. She hated that. It felt like being plunged in ice cold water, and she was already wet! "Spot that!" She yelled at the ghost. There was a certainly thing as personal space, and a ghost had no more right to invade hers than anyone else. "You flood everything else around here to what are we supposed to think when there is two inches of water in the corridor." She pointed out to the ghost.

Well at least she made the huffie girl laugh. That was good. If only she had a reason for giggling in this situation. She was going to have to go and redo her hair!

"This is true," Myrtle admired her reflection in the small puddle of water. "Soooooo you'd like me to help you finish flooding the dungeons? Is that all?"

Flick flick the pigtail.

"What. EVERRRRRRRR." The ghostie glared at Lyra and folded her pearlescent arms in a huff.

"Two inches of water is like, normal, you dunderhead," Myrtle huffed. See, she was a Ravenclaw because she knew big words like dunderhead and nincompoop. "We're under a L-A-K-E, remember?"

Paris glared at the ghost. She was in no mood for Myrtle , she was wet, and tired, and her hair was a mess and she had just gotten it done. "Well the lake water isn't supposed to be in the corridors." She pointed out to her. But she just wasn't up for trying to get into a battle of wits with Myrtle. "But since you know everything that goes on int he castle do you know why there happens to be water in the dungeons since you didn't flood it?" She asked. Myrtle had a knack for knowing all the juicy gossip, and try as she might Paris loved a nice tidbit of gossip.

"Of course, it's true" she nodded, no point in disagreeing when Kaika was the one who pointed out all those things. Well, two things. Alright, barely one.

Her eyes widened in shock. "What? Noooo!" she couldn't help to yell the answer, "Finish? I didn't start it" yes, because that was the reason she cared about mostly.

"Actually, we just want you to help us figure out why this is happening, even if it's...normal for a floor to be flooded?" not that she'd seen such a thing happening before her eyes, but she knew that it tended to happen thanks to Myrtle, or back in the Potter days. "It shouldn't be flooding with Kazimeriz in his office, though" no, Kazimeriz's safety first.

Yeah right like water was crazy enough to try and go toe to toe with Kazimeriz. he would more than likely stand up and first give the water a lecture on the proper way to flood the corridors and then points of for the water having the nerve to presume it could flood his office and then he would find some nasty little curse to the put the water in its proper place.

Having taken off the bandages from his latest adventure with the killer mouse, Clifford had decided to celebrate with a FEAST. Yup, food was the best way to celebrate. Anf for a big feast he needed to pay a visit to the house elves. Surely they couldn't deny HEAD BOY fooood, right? Psssh, right.

He was only a little ways down the corridor though, when his socks suddenly felt rather soggy. Ack, he knew wearing the same pair for a week probably hadn't been a good idea --

... wait, why was there a HUUUGE puddle down here? And - and why was the corridor more full than usual? He rarely saw people from the other houses down here unless it was to go to Potions. Eh.

"What's going on down here?"
He asked loudly and to noone in particular. "Did someone have a little accident?" Y'know.. some people were scared of the dungeons, it honestly wouldn't surprise him if some poor Hufflepuff had gone and wet themselves.

Oh bummer. Was that Myrtle?

Sniffle. "I'm not crying," the ghostie sniffed again, wiping her nose on her robe sleeve. "Yeah I wanted to visit Pepe," she giggled suddenly and would have been blushing if ghosts could blush. "I was just wondering how his Yoga was going...hehheeee..."

The atrocious giggling was starting again. "And I just like, saw the Healer," Myrtle added with another twirl of her pigtail. "She was in the detention cell with that wall kisser."
Anna had too many thoughts and idea running throught her head to pick up on the fact that Myrtle was mimicking the way she'd called out her name three or four times earlier. Besides that, the ghost had just flown right through her, and no matter how many times Anna experienced that, she'd never really get used to it. Anna turned and allowed her gaze to follow Myrtle from one side of the dungeon to the next. It seemed the ghost was going to end up being of no assistance at all. Anna wouldn't put it past her to actually know something, but to not be in the mood to share exactly what that was. Myrtle tended to take things to heart more often than not. Then again, who didn't?

Not wanting to waste anymore time analyzing things in too much detail, Anna tracked across the dungeons, trying to catch Myrtle before she floated away again. That ghost could move! "Of course you're not crying," Anna said, trying to soothe poor Myrtle. Once the being got beside herself, though, there would be no stopping the inevitable tears. "Yes, Pepe. That's the headmaster, yes? Anyway, I haven't seen him, and as far as I know, no one has," Anna contined. What was yoga, anway?

Her eyes perked up when Myrtle mentioned haveing seen the Healer. "In detention, you say? You mean, Healer Byron...or Healer Avalon?" she asked, nearly forgetting that there were two healers at the school now.

"Yeah, yeah," Anna mumbled, turning to face her best friend again. She shot Lyra a polite smile, glad the girl hadn't taken Anna's previous words to heart. She supposed, in circumstances such as this one, she tended to not watch the manner in which she said things. Perhaps she should, though. That's be a personality trait to try and work on when things weren't so...flooded. "I'm sorry, Lyra. Thanks for being a good sport and putting up with me, though. I did think Myrtle could be of some help to us, but it seems she's taken more offense to the situation than anything."

Anna frowned then sighed deeply when Lyra sarcastically mentioned Myrtle helping. Had Anna unintentionally brought the wrong person, er---being, Myrtle, into the situation? She glanced at the ghost for a few moments, watching her interact with the other students. She continued to do so until she heard a bit of splashing behind her, and she turned to see who else had joined the growing crowd.

"Clifford!" Anna called out, tracking back across the dungeon to meet up with the Head Boy halfway. She didn't ever think she'd be particularly happy to see Carden, but at this moment, the Head Girl just really needed the Head Boy to help see them all through the flooding. Putting aside their differences, Anna continued. "Moments earlier, I was simply strolling the corridors, when Fritzera came running frantically up to me. He said there was something I needed to see down here, but he never said what. Lyra and I came down here to find the corridors to be flooded," she explained. "None of us have been able to figure out the cause so far.

She frowned slightly at his comment about someone having an accident on themselves. This was no time for jokes, although, she imagined that later on, when all this was hopefully in the past, she'd have a good laugh about it. "I thought maybe Myrtle could assist us, but so far she seems to have no idea what's happened either," she said.

And there was that boy that didn't know how to dress a female, Clifford. OH! He was Head Boy. Someone touch him because he was special! At least he had a sense of humor, even though he knew nothing about fashion.

"Well, Clifford, we all decided to move the lake indoors this year as it would be warm water all year long," Lyra said in a smart way, though there was no use in her actions, except for the fact that her shoes were wet, that little Hufflepuff kid, Cy, drenched her with water and...well...the obvious. It seemed as though Myrtle didn't like her answer either, what else was new?

"We need a Professor or something down here?" She knew who was down here, that Kazi man and she was not about to call on that old thing to come waddle them out of here. They would all drown before becoming safe at the rate of speed he moved in. Maybe she should go and grab one from the first floor like Truebridge since she just recently met the Professor and he seemed to be well liked by her favorite professor, Bunbury.

Oh no! Banana seemed to be a bit upset with Lyra and the girl was NOT about to have that. No matter what Banana did, she loved the girl dearly, which was the best compliment she had to offer. "No, no Banana," she began with a sigh as she new her own TUDE needed to disappear and fast. "No need to apologize. I'm just...moody." Well, she had to blame something as she was not going to blame herself completely.

Blinking fast in confusion and fright, Clifford listened to Greingoth go on and on and on. Jeez, that girl had a turbo mouth. He'd just asked what was going on, not her life story! "Shouldn't we try and get everyone out of here? Y'know, evacuate the area?" He asked, voice hushed as to not cause a fright as he drew his wand, "I mean, we're under the lake right now.. for all we know the walls could cave in and SWOOOOOSH we all drown." He for one did NOT want to be under here when that happened - and he was a little surprised Greingoth hadn't done this already. She was meant to be the smart one. "Impervius," the Head Boy muttered, pointing his wand at his shoes and the bottom of his robes. There. That was better.

Rolling his brown eyes, Clifford shook his head at Lyra. Move the lake indoors? Really? "And are you going to be our new aquatic mascot? Lyra the giant squid? You and Bartholomew would make a lovely couple," and they could have lovely squid babies. Shudder. "Did noone even fetch a Professor yet?" He asked, grateful for that water repelling charm as he waded through the puddles. Dude, what had they been doing down here? Having a waterfight?

Anna turned and once again smiled at her very best friend. This was a 'group hug' moment...surely Anna could spare a moment in the flood for that, yes? Yes, indeed. She could. She would. Arms outstretched, Anna splish-splashed over to Lyra and hugged her tightly. "Hush now. We'll think nothing else of this, you hear. We're sometimes just too much alike," she said, patting the girl's back, then releasing her from the hug. "It's not easy being pink..." She waved her hands at Lyra as if to say 'It's no big deal,' then turned back to Carden.

Anna glared at the boy in silence for a moment. She could practically hear him complaining about her way up there in that head of his. "Yes, yes, we should evacuate. The thought definitely crossed my mind, but I wanted to exhaust the possibility of Myrtle being able to assist first," she answered. What? Had he thought she was just going to remain down here until the flood had given her enough depth to swim in? Le sigh. "We've only been down here about five minutes, though. Most of that was an attempt to try and solve the situation instead of running for it and letting it progress," she continued. She glanced to the left, then to the right, and said, "That's not working, though. So...let's go! Could you take care of those in your Common Room, please?" she asked.

She sighed when he asked if they'd gone to get a professor yet. They'd not had time yet, but they were going to do so now. She didn't stick around to see what else Carden had to say in regards to the situation. She was already yards away trying to urge her schoolmates to leave while they were all still ahead. "Alright, everyone!" she called out. It was easier addressing the crowd as a whole rather than wasting time repeating everything to each person individually. "No one knows exactly what's happened down here, and it's unlikely we'll know anything else anytime soon. Until then, Clifford and I are asking everyone to please move to a higher level. One of us will alert a professor or, hopefully soon, the headmaster."

Oh the boy was comic...NOT! Lyra placed her hands on her hips as she glared at the Head Slytherin Boy. "Ha. Ha. You're so funny, Clifforrrrd," she smarted off again, her green eyes narrowing with anger. It was just too bad that her master, STACEY, loved Clifford to pieces. This boy was clearly getting on her last nerve as she mumbled to herself under her breath.

OH! How she loved Banana, but how quickly her TUDE changed back with that Clifford boy snapping at their heels. Did anyone do this? Did anyone do that? Did anyone tape his mouth? She stretched her arms around Banana Nut Bread as she was thankful to at least have one SANE person in the corridors at the moment. For Merlin's sake, don't let the boy dress anyone for any reason!

"Oh! If we are going to save people from down here," she said in a monotone voice, clearly still agitated by the Slytherin Head Boy...oh he was good at annoying her at the moment. "Someone needs to save Professor Kwazimoto." OH she could get into a HEAP of trouble over that little smart answer right there. If that man touched her face and put a snout on her, she would scream bloody murder.

Cyrus grinned in a bit of a mischievous fashion as Lyra began to scream. It was EXACTLY the type of reaction he was looking for. The eleven year old started to laugh heartily. “I can see everything bettah’ from up here.” He said, to his defense, but he hopped off her back none-the-less and splashed into the water.

“But yah’ wish is my command, miss.” The young Aussie saluted the Hufflepuff seventh year and gave her his wry smile.

He looked around to see what was going on when something caught his eye. Was that…. a ghost? Yes, it was. Cy’s brown orbs grew to the size of tennis balls (it seemed). “CRICKEY MATE! You’re a ghost, aren’ you?” Cy started trying to push his hands through her transparent body, “How’d you die? Did it hurt? C’mon tell me tell me.”
