'Nothing like an evenings constitutional strolling amongst the castles many fine works of art and historical artifacts.' Kapoor thought to himself as he made his way slowly back up to his towers. He still had a few things to do to prepare for the night, so his pace was rather brisk, but not so much so that he could not enjoy the surroundings.

Ian had been snooping around the corridor, exploring his floor. He happened upon the Armor Gallery only to find none other than his dear friend David Kapoor. He quickly stuffed his hand into his pocket to apply an at-the-moment unknown device to his hand.

"Kapoor! Five me!" Ian quickly strode in the man's direction holding his hand up for a high five. It was, of course, hidden to the Divinations teacher what was on Ian's hand.

David turned to see his old frienemy Ian comming around the corner. He was wearing a grin that could sell you your own mother, but David Kapoor could not help but read it as an 'I'm-gunna-gitchoo-sucka' expression. Now, however would not be the time to show suspicion. Otherwise, Ian would have him backed into a corner for the rest of the term. And his show of lack of confidence regarding the tainted taters at the feast was already a shakey start.

'Relax now. Relax. He can smell fear.' He told himself as he grinned widely in return and smacked a hand to Ians' as he passed him in the walkway.

BZZZZT.

The buzzer went off and Ian erupted in lulz.

Kapoor was too easy.

"Uuughgh!!" was all the absent minded professor could get out as the shock of the buzzer hit his hand. As his mind became clearer and he began to recover, he shook his head rappidly and took a good look at Ian whom he could see was obviously having a great time.

The Divie professor straightened himself up and shook his head as he backed away from the cackling Charms professor ... very, very slowly, with both eyes properly engaged as he rounded the corner and headed back up towards his hand-buzzer-whoopee-cushionless office.

Ian continued chuckling, supposing he should probably give the man a break soon, and turned and walked back into his office. Another day, another successful prank. Oh yeah.

Aggie hit the floor of the 3rd floor corridor running. The banister trick had given her at least a 10 step gain on Tobi, probably because he had paused at the top of the stairs to watch her go down. Unable to help herself, she had stuck her tongue out at Tobi as her purple tennis shoes moved her backwards down the hall.

The problem with running backwards is that it’s more of a shuffle run then a flat out run. The moment Aggie turned a corner, she spun around and bolted. It was a few minutes later that she realized she’d turned into the Armor Gallery. Well, this was going to take her the backwards way to the 2nd floor stairs. She was still convinced, that if she could make it outside, she’d win. And so – she picked up her pace.

Barry walked into the armour gallery, his wand was drawn in case someone tried to get him he studdied the armour, and wondered who had brought them to hogwarts

Kayla stepped out from behind one of the suits or amour and waved her wand and sent a nice stinging hex at Barry, before ducking behind the armour again. Oh this game was so much fun.

Barry saw Kayla cast the spell and it hit him before he could stop her. He jumped as he was stung and sent back a bat bogey hex and then a sheild charm.

Gee! This DADA assignment was making her even more paranoid than she'd already been which would probably result in her turning into a complete nervous wreck. Seriously. After this whole thing was over they it was very likely that they could send her straight to St. Mungo's, yes, sad but probably true. Eep! What had that been?! Just in case, Nancy quickly jumped into the Armor Gallery to be save from anybody attacking her from behind. That was her only fear, somebody hexing her from behind, because like that she didn't stand any chance to defend herself.

With her back pressed against the wall Nancy took a step forward to look back out onto the corridor to see where that noise from before had come from before leaning back with a small sigh of relief as she realized that it had only been a cat. It was only now that she noticed the other people inside the Armor Gallery, a Ravenclaw boy she'd seen around but never actually talked to and Kayla, the Hufflepuff prefect. And what was the best thing about it, they were both wearing a DADA badges on their black robes. Hehe... As quietly as she could Nancy drew her wand to point it at the Ravenclaw boy and promptly made an X-movement with her hand while muttering, "Velico Auris".

OOC: Awesome incantation, right? It's the Twitchy Ears Hex, just so you know...

"Protego" she said with a flick of her wrist and cast her shield, watching Barry's hex rebound back towards him. Kayla, made an X motion with her wand and sent him a trip jinx and just for good measure a Jelly brain jinx.

Barry sighed and let the twitch ears hex bounce off his sheild charm putting its effect to an end, he then cast protago against one of the next spells and then the trip jinx got him and the jelly brain jinx flew over him, he got up and said "Not fair two against one" then pointing his wand at the younger girl cast a hair thickning charm on her eyebrow and he just moved away from Kayla

Daniel was walking cautiously on the corridor when he heard voices. He redo his protections: PROTEGO HORRIBILIS, SALVIO HEXIA, PROTEGO, then he went to check on what was happening. He then saw a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin ganging on a Ravenclaw.

He hid near the door and casts an incantation towards the Slytherin IMPEDIMENTA

Then he inhaled and ready himself.




OOC:those were protection spells

Nancy's head jerked around as she a stream of light whizzed past her left ear and headed straight towards the Ravenclaw boy who had just successfully blocked her own Twitchy Ears Hex with a Shielding Charm. Her blue eyes fell on Kayla who was standing there with a rather smug look on her face her wand still pointed at the boy which was only positive for Nancy since she apparently didn't have to expect an attack from the Hufflepuff Prefect. For now, at least.

It was sheer luck that the third year turned her attention back to the Ravenclaw as the boy raised his wand to sent a Hair-thickening charm at her apparently aiming at her right eyebrow. With a surprised "Whoa" Nancy somehow managed to dodge the charm and immediately cast a Shielding Charm to prevent her from being hit by one of the hexes flying her way for a few seconds. At the Ravenclaw's words Nancy put on a rather fake sympathetic look and said, the sarcasm obvious in her voice, "Aww...I'm sorry. Poor you." before quickly jerking around until her wand pointed into Kayla's direction. "I don't mind who I'm aiming at, though." With that said she gave the Hufflepuff a small smirk while doing an x-movement with her wand-hand and sending an Toenail-growing hex at the girl.

For a few moments Nancy just stood there waiting for her hex to hit its target which turned out to be probably one of the biggest mistakes she'd ever made. Due to her inattentiveness another student was able to enter the Armor Gallery totally unnoticed by her and immediately sent an Impediment Jinx at her which she was unable to dodge. Even though she tried to shield herself against it she was way too slow to stop the jinx from hitting her causing her to groan slightly before whirling her head around to glare at the Gryffindor boy.

Daniel, upon seeing that the other two opponent of the Slytherin girl named Nancy were in a not so better position, made himself visible and said "Can I join?" Without any word he motioned a loop from his wand and shouted "IMPEDIMENTA" aiming at Nancy.

Kayla turned at the sound of another voice and she gave a small smile. Another party to the mix and a Slytherin at that and what's this? The girl didn't even try and jinx Kayla...ah well she'll learn the hard way. Waving her wand, Kayla sent the hurling hex at the younger girl.

"Hey that's not my problem" Kayla raised her wand toward him but decided not to do anything he seemed to be scared of her. Geesh was she that bad?

Oh look a Gryffindor had now decided to join the party and again no spell came her way. Honestly these people needed to learn the art of dueling. Kayla turned towards the boy and made an X motion with her wand and fired the stretching jinx at him. She gave her wand a quick flick, "Protego" she muttered casting the shield charm once more.

Oh so now she was going to try and hex her! Kayla already had her shield in place and she watched in amusement as the girl's hex merely bounced off it and headed back towards her. She criss crossed her wand and sent the revulsion jinx at the girl.

Daniel turned and saw the Hufflepuff prefect aiming at him. He knows that his protection spells were powerful, but just in case, he muttered PROTEGO.

He then pointed the wand to the Hufflepuff and yelled, IMPEDIMENTA

Barry was alone no one was paying attension to him. To them he was just a bookworm who couldn`t cast a spell. It suited him so he pointed his wand at Kayla behind her back and cast a canary transformation hex at her and then a sheildcharm.

Doing her best to keep an eye on both the Gryffie and the Ravenclaw boy Nancy half-turned her head to be able to face Kayla again to see whether or not her hex had actually hit its target. Her face fell slightly as she saw her hex simply bouncing off the Prefect's shield before the determined look returned to the third years face and she quickly raised her wand and muttered, "Protego!" as she saw another stream of light approaching her at high speed. Shrugging at Kayla with a rather smug look on her face as the girl's jinx simply bounced off her own shield Nancy once again drew an X into the air which sent a Knee-Reversing Hex flying Kayla's way.

Tut-tut Barry, trying to hex someone when there back is turned, Kayla could see everything in the reflection of the suit of armor and she dodged out of the way of his hex and she quickly twirled, waving her wand and sending the hair thickening charm his way.

Kayla moved again so that she had all her opponents in sight, unfortunately her shield had dropped and she was now staring down the Slytherin's girl's wand. Quickly raising her wand she made the X motion once again, "Impedimentia" she shouted, slowing down girl's jinx and giving her time to move out of the way. Deciding it was time no more nice girl, she waved her wand sending both the canary transfiguration hex and the bedazzling hex.

Daniel made a loop motion from his wand and yelled, CORPUS TRIPO and followed by IMPEDIMENTA, aiming at Kayla.

He then muttered PROTEGO, just in case.


OOC: Corpus Tripo is a trip jinx

Kayla really was a clever girl. But not as clever as Nancy. Duh. The third year wasn't as stupid as she might have looked so she immediately copied Kayla's actions by casting the Impediment Jinx on the approaching blue-ish stream of light which had just emerged from the Hufflepuff's wand. A smug smile flashed across her face as she had enough time to mutter "Protego" to shield herself against the girl's Canary Transfiguration Hex. Unfortunately she completely missed the second hex which was also aimed at her following right after the first, but since she'd already raised her wand and, after making the right hand movement, had sent a Jelly-Brain Jinx Kayla's way she could only watch as the two streams of light collide with one another creating a huge amount of multicolored sparks. "Oops." Nancy said with a small snicker before casting another shielding charm around her, just in case.

Ah the Gryffindor was back in the game. "Protego" she muttered and then giving her wand a wave, Kayla sent the hurling hex towards the youngster and then followed it up with the knee reversing hex.


Kayla watched with amusement at the pretty little light show the Slytherin had cast. She raised her wand and with more cross actions, she cast first the stretching jinx, the Jelly-legs jinx and then finally the the finger removing jinx at least one of those should shatter the girl's shield. Woah all this dueling gets exhausting, she took a deep breath and quickly cast the shield charm around her once more.
