Diana,being admitted in by the gargoyle,climbed up the stairs.Then,she stood outside the door of the office.She was feeling nervous.She calmed down herself by taking a deep breath,and knocked at the door.

"Come in," Rae said calmly from her seat at her desk. She had her full tea service out, and she was enjoying a nice relaxing cup of tea.

Diana stepped into the office,and looked around in awe.Then,she faced the Professor and said timidly,"I'm Diana....Diana Lynton,a first year Hufflepuff.I'd like to join the Defense Against dark Arts Class.......So,I thought of meeting you,Professor."She was'nt actually nervous,but she could'nt speak fluently either.

"It's nice to meet you, Diana," she smiled warmly at the girl. "You are welcome in my class, and I'll be sure to look for you there."

Diana's eyes shone brightly.She smiled too at the Professor,and said,"Thanks a lot Professor!"She gives another grateful smile and leaves the office.

Raiden knocked tentatively on the door of the Headmistress's office before opening it a crack and peeking around the edge. The lady behind the desk looked nice enough... He stepped around the door and closed it, the letter still clenched in his hand behind his back. He really wished he could have read it before handing it off... but his mother had sealed it. He smiled widely at the Headmistress and approached the desk.

"Uhm... Hello, Miss Headmistress Lady," he said, as polite as he could get. "My ah, my mum gave me a letter to give you..."

He held it out, still worried. What if he mum wanted the Headmistress to keep him from classes or something?

Raiden bit his lip nervously. What had his mother written?

Rae read te note with complete seriousness before taking out her quill. "I want you to take this note to the Healer to share with her, just so we are all on the same square of parchment. I'm going to send your mother an owl as well." She resealed the parchment from his mother and scribed her own.

My dear Mrs. Kururugi,

As a mother, I can understand your concerns completely. Let me reassure you that the nursing staff at this school contains one of the foremost Healers in the Wizarding World, as well as a promising young intern who is asking the right questions. Your son is in perfectly safe hands at Hogwarts, and I have brought this matter to your attention. Let me also reassure you that I will notify you should his health deteriorate.

Raiden took back the letter his mother had written and bit his lip, chewing on it. To the Healer? He nodded and gave the nice lady a smile. She was being really, really good about all this... he was sure his mother had overstated many things in her letter. She had a habit of doing that...

"Thank you," he murmured. "You're the first person to not overreact about my mum, she tends to be overdramatic about me..." He remembered the word Celandine had taught him. "Angsty."

That was the right word, right? Angsty. His mum had something in common with teenagers. Raiden's stomach gave a sudden lurch and he winced. What was that?!

It was probably a good thing that he was being sent to the Hospital Wing already.

"It is in our job description as a mother to do that, my dear. My Vivi tried to feed her brother a water beetle over the summer and I had them both in Mungo's for two days. We just have to play protector."

Raiden thought about that for a second, and nodded. After all, if a mum didn't protect her kids, then who would? He giggled at the idea of two children trying to feed each other water beetles, and then at the idea that the Headmistress actually HAD children. In Raiden's opinion, she didn't look nearly old enough to have any children of any age, but he supposed that she, like most everyone in Hogwarts, tended to look quite a bit younger than her actual age. He'd yet to meet someone who looked as old as they were... He nodded again, and bowed his head, a polite gesture that his father had taught him.

"Still... thank you for not going a bit crazy about it...I would hate to miss out on stuff just because my mum doesn't think I could handle it..." He looked back at the door. "Uhm... I should stop bothering you now... and take this to the Healer person. Thank you, Miss Headmistress Lady."

He grinned widely at her and moved toward the door.

"My name is Headmistress Rae, or Professor Rae if you prefer," she nodded her head at him. "I'll trust you know your limits and do not put yourself into undue danger. Things happen, but if I find you stressing your system, we might not be able to accomodate you here. Good day, my dear," she smiled and let him go.

Annamaria stepped into the office carefully, making sure to take in anything that might be odd or out of place, but then again one didn't usually see stuffed hippogriffs and centaurs on bookshelves. Annamaria looked over the bookshelves again as she walked in further, and she noted nothing out of the ordinary. Of course, unless she could get into the books and leaf through them she wouldn't find anything. She pursed her lips together for a moment before finally conceding that there wasn't anything in here, at least anything she could see. " Thank you again for taking time out of your day to entertain my questions," She said to the Headmistress.

"So this is my office," Rae gestured at the walls. "Please have a seat." She seated herself behind her desk. "I wish I had more information to share with you."

Annamaria took the proffered seat and shrugged. " Well, sometimes there just isn't anything any of us can do." She said, folding her hands in her lap. She fidgeted slightly, her thumb rubbing against the subtly shimmering fabric for a moment. " Do you have any ideas when you might start searching for the Treasure then?" She asked with a hopeful expression.

"I suppose that is up to the students. They were the ones who were given the first clues, and they will have to finish this, I fear. I don't even know where to start." Mostly true, but she wasn't going looking for any treasure right now.

Annmaria nodded again. " I see. Do you know which students know the most about this then? Perhaps I could talk to them...but then again, I know that when something is hidden at Hogwarts, it can be very difficult to find." She said with a little smile. " Your office is lovely, if I may say so." She said, the smile growing a bit wider.

"Thank you," Rae nodded her head. "I'm afraid that those who were contacted are... very secretive about it." Or perhaps she was secretive on behalf of the Mark. Either way. "I truly do wish I could share more with you."

Annamaria caught the slight pause in Headmistress Rae's sentence and she took note of it right away, filing it in her memory to ponder it later. " Hmm. How curious though." She said, slightly to herself. She shrugged a little. " I wish the same thing, but it's fine, I suppose." She said. " I don't want to take up anymore of your time though." She stood and she looked around once more, but only briefly. " Thank you for all the information you did give me though." She smiled. " It was also nice to come back for a visit."

"Yes, dear. It's nice to see you're doing so well for yourself. I would suggest you... not ingratiate yourself to the Minister if you can help it. Be your own woman at the Ministry," Rae offered her hand.

Annamaria was a bit surprised at Headmistress Rae's parting words, but she took them to heart. " Thank you, Headmistress." She said with a smile. " I'll keep that in mind, and again, thank you for the advice." She said warmly. With that she gave a nod in farewell and turned, going through the door and making her way back down the stairs.

Sneeze walked up to the door and knocked. He checked he had his suitcase and notebook. He waited for an answer.

"Come in," the Headmistress called, sipping her tea calmly.

Sneeze entered. He walked into the office and walked until he was a few feet in fornt of the Headmistress. "Hello, Proffessor Rae. I'm here for two reasons. First, I'd like to ask if I could be in your DADA class. And secondly, I want you to take a look at this." He got his notebook and passed it to her. His voice was shaking a bit.

"Everyone is welcome to attend any class of their choice," Rae smiled warmly and held out a hand for the notebook.
