Amanda walked into the chamber, noticing the snake statue in the middle of the fountain. Something about it drew her to it, she walked over and looked it over. It was elegant yet creepy and somewhat familiar. What did this mean?

Camira gasped as the passageway opened before her. It was...extremely creepy. Oh, she knew she was going to die. She frowned deeply, not wanting anything to do with the room. But the treasure...After a few moments of arguing with herself, she pulled out her wand. "Lumos Solarum", she said firmly. The pathetic beam of light that Lumos gave was not good enough. She needed super brightness. Feeling a bit less afraid, she carefully took a few steps forward.

"Who's in here?" She asked turning around for a second, looking around the dark room. She moved her wand, "Lumos" She muttered and continued looking at the snake statue. The snake looked very real, but..it was only a statue or was it?

Callie carefully stepped into the hidden room, that obviously hadn't been seen or used in ages. She wondered if this was where Salazar's own private room was when their was four Head's instead of one. She also hoped other's were behind her incase something unexpected happened. She heard some people get scared and light their wands. She did the same, but didn't need it for long.

She walked steadily deeper into the room, and noticed something shimmer and a noise that sounded like water. She narrowed her eyes and saw a fountain.

She walked toward the fountain and looked in it to see it almost empty of water. There was a slight trickle and put her hand down to feel the water, that was cool to the touch for being hidden for so long.

She looked up to notice a statue of a great snake with fangs, but Callie was drawn to the eyes. The eyes looked like they could see through miles into your soul, and it was intriging. She went toward the statue not taking her eyes off it, and when she finally reached it, she touched the cold stone. She wondered who built this.

Camira blinked. Did Amanda not notice her? "It's me. Camira" And then she saw what Amanda was looking at. A very large statue of a snake. It was...breathtaking. And there was another Slytherin by it as well. She didn't know the girl, nor did she care at the moment. It was amazing, the statue, and that's all she wanted to look at. She walk over to it slowly until she was standing in front of it. Without thinking, she reached out and touched one of the pointy fangs...

"I'd be careful if I were you Camira, this could be a trap for all we know." Amanda said, running her hand along the etchings of the scales on the statue of the snake. She quickly took her hand away and rested it back at her side. This snake was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen in her life, and she was mesmerized by it.

Lucas held onto the end of Camira's robes. "Don't touch it," he warned her shakingly, as his voice squeaked

Callie saw another girl from earlier approach the statue and momentarily unlocked with the snake's eyes and watched as the girl touched the fangs. "I wander who built this, "she mumbled and then added a bit louder, "What do you think we should do? I don't see another way out maybe we are suppose to move something."

Then all of a sudden Lucas popped up out of no where. He was like a creepy crawly, never know where he was but when he popped up he scared you. "I see no harm Lucas," she responded and watched as the girl touched it. But just to be on the safe side, she didn't reach for the other fang.

"Maybe its a puzzle, you think this would be the room that Salzar Slytherin had when he founded the school with the other 3 witches and wizards?" Amanda asked curiously, her eyes running over the snake for some sort of symbol or sign that would give them a clue.

He peeked out from Camira's robes to look at Callie when she asked a question. "It looks really really old, " He commented. "Maybe we have to speak parsletongue to it or something." he offered before ducking back behind Camira.

Camira blinked as she heard Amanda's warning. Trap? But it was so beautiful. Her hands moved away from the fangs and touched the eyes. Ooooh.

He thoughts were broken when she felt something touch her robes...Oh my Gos, something was touching her robes. She let out a loud blood-curling scream and jumped back. She noxed her Lumos and stuck out her wand, ready to try and save herself. Oh...it was that Lucas kid. "Please never do that again", she said weakly, hands shaking.

The girl Camira didn't know spoke then and Camira tried to fucus, but her heart was still racing. "Wha? Oh...move. Yeah...We could all try Mobilarus..."

Lucas looked around and screamed when Camira did. His survival instincts kicked in and she scrambled up her robes and climbed into her arms and hooked his arms around her neck. What was wrong why was she scared. He buried his face in her neck. "Don't let it get me!" He pleaded with her.

She turned to another girl and nodded. "Yes I thought this might be his private room when all four were heads, " she replied agreeing and then shook her head at Lucas. "How many people do you know that know Parsletongue. Their's only a handful." she added being serious.

The girl touching the fang seemed to get spooked when Lucas came up and she kind of found that funny. Lucas did seem to have that effect on people. "That spell might work. I wonder if the other house's rooms are like this one." she commented.

Oh my. He was clinging. Oops. She hadn't meant to scare him. "Sorry. Nothing's there. You just scared me, is all", she muttered. Scared by an 11 year old boy. She needed to get a grip. She carefully unhooked his arms from around her and set him down. "I wouldn't be able to save you if I can't use my wand. Just stand behind me, okay?" Oh my, was she doing the brave thing? She was. She sighed and ran her hand through her hair the way she often did when she was particularly stressed. Hopefully they could figure this out soon and get out of this room. She had a weird feeling about this room, especially that statue...

Whitney walked into a room that had been abandoned in who knows how many years. She heard voices,but couldn't tell who it was. "Lumos" and her wand was ignited with light. She saw about four people there,one of whom she didn't know. "Um, where exactly am I?"

Camira had turned back to Callie. "Yes, well does that mean you think we should try it or do w-" Someone else had come in. She looked at the girl. Hadn't she sat by her in a class. She couldn't remember now. She turned to the girl and shrugged, though she doubted she could see it. "I wish I could tell you, but I have no idea. It just opened into this", she said, not bothering to elaborate. She didn't want to go into the whole story. She had better things to be doing. Like trying to figure out what they were supposed to do next.

"Hey Whitney, you're in the Slytherin Room, we believe it to be Salzar Slytherin's room from when he was here. We are trying to figure out what to do with the snake statue" She said, turning around when she heard Whitney's voice.

"My uncle Liam knows paresletongue,"His voice called. He wasn't risking poking his head out anymore. This room was scaring the daylights out of him. He was going to stay safely behind Camira she would protect him if anything happened.

He was clinging on as hard as he could, but the older girl broke his tiny grip easily. He looked up at her whens he set him on the ground. "Ok," he whimpered as he grabbed the end of her robe and followed closely behind her.

Camira, who she'd sat next to in one of her classes, and Amanda, who she hadn't seen in forever. "Cool?" trying to figure things out sounded smart. She looked around and saw a huge snake staring at her. "Have you tried doing anything yet?" she asked, addressing whom ever was there to listen.

"No we haven't yet, we've been trying to figure out exactly what to do." Amanda said, letting her eyes graze over the snake once more, she took a walk around the room and felt the floor grow weaker beneath her.

Camira couldn't help but smile. He was cute when he wasn't being mean to her. "Don't worry, we'll be fine", she said, sounding confident. If only she felt that way.

Camira sighed. She wasn't exactly sure that cool was the right word for it. "No, we haven't yet, and we should really get a move on." She walked back over to the statue and started running her hands all over it. Maybe you have to do something to it? If not, they could try to move it. Just as long as they did something.

"Be careful when you come over here.. the floor's quite weak" Amanda said, then heard a cracking sound and saw the floor around her was breaking. Uh oh..this isn't good.. She thought and began to get worried.

Whitney heard a little creak as Amanda took a step forward. She looked around the room to see if anyone else had heard the noise too.

Camira was right. As Camira and...was that Lucas? moved towards the statue Whitney walked forward to see just how deep the room was. She moved her wand along the walls but saw nothing but cement. "Does anyone know a spell or charm we can cast?"

Noticing the floor breaking around Amanda she yelled "Move!" just as the floor gave in.

Amanda felt the floor drop beneath her and she screamed and held onto the top part of the floor. "A little help here!!" She yelled, hanging on for dear life. She wasn't going to look down at what was beneath her.
