The door swings open and you spot a middle-aged blonde woman sitting at the large, ornamental desk reading a book. She glances up as you walk in and takes off her reading glasses, places her book and glasses on the desk and asks, "May I help you?

The office has been painted over since the days of Professor Pride, the walls are now a deep, almost blood red with gold accents. It is obvious the woman in front of you was a Gryffindor. There are interesting knick-knacks on the shelves and some... odd looking plants by the window. A large tank containing what looks like over grown goldfish is off to the left resting on a Oriental looking table. "Umm..may I help you?" Oh yes, the woman was talking to you...

Diana was very much eager to take Transfigurationa as a subject.She had spent an hour searching for the office.At last,she had found it.Panting,she knocked at the door and waited........

"Come on in." Alex's voice rang out cheerfully. It was the start of a new term back at Hogwarts and Alex loved the feeling.

Diana stood still for a moment,and pushing the door with shaking hands,went in."Good Morning,Proffesor.I would like to take Transfiguration as my subject....."she trailed off,looking at the Proffesor's reaction.

OOC:---It's morning in India,so I said,"Good Morning"

Alex raised her eyebrows and smiled, "I'm glad your looking forward to taking my classes dear, but may I ask, what do you mean as your subject? Do you have a special intrest in Transfigration?" she asked, curious to hear the child's response.

Diana felt comfortable,speaking to the teacher.She replied,"Oh,Yes Professor!My mum's good at it,and so was my aunt.It's like a family tradition.So,I like Transfiguration,too.I've read a lot about it,and I'm very much interested in the subject."

Knocking on Professor Pierce's door, Liz steps back to wait. She loved the switching spells, they had learned a few years ago, and was looking forward to this years classes!

Hannah approached the door and knocked lightly. She waited for the professor to call her to come in.

Lisa had finally found the room of Professor Alexandria Pierce. She knocked gently and waited for the Professor's reply.

Xehanna walked up to the Transfiguration door and knocked a couple times before entering. "hello? professor Pierce?" Xehanna noticed a teacher sitting behind a desk looking at the papers on the desk and decided to walked in. "Hello. My name is Xehanna Tifadoresly. i just wanted to formerly introduce myself before classes started." Xehanna smiled sweetly and shook the professors hand.

"Hiya Jenn", Lisa smiled over at the girl she had met in the girls' dorm. "I guess you are going to take Transfiguration as well, huh?she asked her.

Alex gave the girl a wide grin, "Wonderful! I always like having attentive students."

"Come on in!" she sang out again, little did she know she was about to be over run with students.

Diana smiled and said,"When will be the first class Professor?"

"As soon as I get everything together and get settled in my office." she responded smiling, "What would you like the learn about in the first lesson of the year?" It was always good to get students opinions.

Freya made her way to the transfiguration office. It was always a specialty of hers, and she was hoping to learn even more during the two years of Hogwarts she was going to attend. Freya knocked on the door and waited for a response. 'Maybe there is an advanced class I can get into, that would be lovely.', She though to herself.

"HI!"Jenn says. "Yep, and I can't wait! I love Transfiguration."Jenn says happily.

Jenn smiled at the teacher and walked in. "Hello Professor, I am Jennumara Blood, but call me Jenn!" Jenn said happily.

"Hello Miss Blood, very nice to meet you." Alex responded politly.

"Yeah, me too! it's so cool", Lisa said enthusiastically.

Lisa walks into the professor's room;"Hello Professor, I'm Lisa and I'm a first year.", she told the professor.

Rosa walked slowly and carefully up to the sixth floor to Professors Pierce's office. Her black and white cats, Luna and Star trotted along in front of her. I hope this is the right door. she thought to herself as she knocked and waited to an answer. Having been told exactly how to get here. She just hoped that Lisa was still there because she was suppose to meet her here and it would give her a chance to meet a new professor.

"Nice to meet you Lisa, I look forward to seeing you in class." Alex said with a smile, looking warily at the line outside her door.
"Come on in." Alex called out again.

Having heard Lisa voice Rosa guessed she had the right place. She carefully turned the knob, poking her head in first, before sliding the rest of the way in. "Um...sorry, if I'm bothering you. I was told Lisa was here and thought I might as well get acquainted with one of my professor," she mutter slyly. Luna and Star having already walked in ahead of her were now sitting at her feet. Rosa stayed glued to the door. The last thing she wasn't was to bump or trip over any furniture the woman had in her office. "I'm Rosalie Anderson."

"Thank you, Professor.",Lisa blushed slightly and looked down. "I..umm..", she stopped, she had just spotted Rosa."Nothing", she muttered.

"Rosa" Lisa breathed,she walked up to her."You have met the Professor?,would you like to meet my friend Jenn, you might already know her,"she asked Rosa."You'll like her,I'm sure",she added hopefully.

Diana felt thrilled to be asked for her opinion.She said,"Well,Professor I'd like to learn some basic Transfiguration incantations,like transforming something as a needle.Will that be above our standard?"
