Jessica walked in the classroom very slowly. The professor seemed slightly upset, so she just greeted as politely as possible.
"Hello, Professor!How are you?"
Then the Hufflepuff girl looked around deciding where to sit.

Elan strolled into class for what he hoped was another exciting lesson. Prof. Lainey however didn't look to be in an exciting mood. As he walked in, he greeted Lainey, "Good morning, professor."

Cale walked into the classroom, immediately noticing Lainey's cool expression as he entered in through the door. "Erm, good day Professor!" he said happily, giving her a grin as he headed to his seat. If she wasn't in a good mood, then this lesson wasn't bound to be any fun.

"Hey Professor Lainey, Miss." Clifford smiled nervously as he wandered into the History of Magic classroom. Professor Lainey was nice, but Clifford had come to the conclusion that she was slightly ... loopy. That's hy he edged his way around her and chose a seat nearer the back of the room.

Dominic nervously entered the history of magic classroom; after the last lesson of digging and dirt and camouflage paint, the fourth year was not very anxious at seeing Professor Lainey again. Taking spot the window in about the fourth row back, Dominic stared out as he waited for the lesson to begin.

Hands in his pockets, shoulders back, head up and a smile that would send any young girl into a frenzy, Kingston walked into the class and quickly felt that something was a little off with the professor. Usually eccentric, she stood by the door her arms folded looking quite stern. His smile widened a little more at this.


"My, my professor." The blond spoke as he looked down at her. Deciding to stand a bit beside her just for the sheer fun of it, he smirk down and spoke once more "If I may be frank, I'm quite happy that you've decided to quit your usual tactics in teaching. Dressing up for classes and acting them out is not the proper way to teach! It's absurd and quite... barbaric. I'm delighted you came to your senses."

Lainey waved at her class as they entered, and had half a mind to reach out and grab Clifford for skirting around her. She'd get him later. Besides, she had more important matters all of a sudden in the form of Kingston. She glared at him. Up at him. She hated when they got taller than her.


"And yet, you come back every time. History is not a mandatory subject, Kingston. I know you enjoy class." Lainey stood up on her tiptoes to whisper - the kind of whisper that is loud and everyone could hear - "We'll dress up later. Just for you."

Elan chuckled as the professor talked to the older student.

Inadvertently hearing a rather proper boy speak to the Professor, Dominic directed his attention over towards the door where a tall blond boy was speaking to her. ....quite happy ... quit your usual tactics in teaching. Dressing up for classes and acting ... absurd and quite... barbaric. Those words caught the fourth year by surprise slightly. Well that was a bit weird hearing a student speak to her like that, but nonetheless, Dominic couldn't help but agree. He'd have to meet this boy later.

Attempting to make eye contact with him, the fourth year hoped he would take the hint and join him. He could use company like that ...

He couldn't help himself but chuckle at the glare she gave him when she looked up. Oh how he enjoyed looking down at her and her looking up at him! Those years of him looking up was over! He was almost a fully grown man now.

His eyes narrowed at her words and then quickly softened. "Ahh, but the reason to why I always come back is to watch how you make a fool out of yourself professor. I'm saying this with all the respect I have for you, of course." Which really wasn't much. Ever since that cupid incident, Kingston disliked the woman! His eyes slightly widened at the mention of dressing up only for him. "Oh? Do please enlighten me professor. I would like to know what I'd be wearing before I get dressed into something." Kingston told her, his voice a little rough. He really didn't want to be cupid again. Not at this age.

Miles walked into class, kinda slowly. He wasn't great at History, but earning points was a must. He smiled at the professor, and sat down at the back, got his stuff out, and scanned the room.

Meredith hurried into the classroom. She noticed the Professor didn't look in a to good mood, but she smiled and said "Hi" anyway. Then, she looked for a place to sit. Looking around at the other people, she saw that there there wasn't anyone she really knew yet.

"Morning professor" she walked in and dodged Kingston, sitting down in the middle of the class she got out her things and watched Lainey

Lainey sighed loudly. "Have a seat, Kingston." She swatted his rearend with her wand to get him started in the direction of the chairs. "WHat you dress up as will depend entirely on yourself."


Lainey smiled to the rest of her class, letting Kingston's way of showing her love roll off her back like water on a duck. "I want you all to sit and think about your own history. I want you to think about how you got to be here, who helped you, and what events lead to this moment. Pick out your top ten most memorable moments... But don't share them with anyone! Keep them in your heads. We're going to play a game with them. But for now, I need you all to get out your parchment and start thinking about your top ten lists!"

Astrid got out her parchment and her quill and started scribbling away immediately. What a fun assignment! She thought to herself. She couldn't wait to hear everybody's Top Tens.

Hmmmm. Memories. Top ten memories.

It's not like Miles' memories were ALL bad, but, they kind of were at the moment. But still, he got out a blank piece of parchment and began writing a few random things. There were some brilliant memories, as well as horrible ones, but, he could live with that.

Jayne nodded as many people popped into her head "Got 'em professor!" she told her as she looked at the parchment she had already got out

Elan listened to the instructions and pulled out his parchment. It seemed like an interesting topic and he pondered his top ten moments. As he was only eleven, it would be fairly easy (he thought) to figure the list out.

Think about their top ten most memorable moments? Ack. Clifford wasn't sure if he had ten - and if he did, the majority of them were probably horrible. Bleh. With a small sigh, he pulled out a piece of parchment and scratched his chin with the end of his quill thoughtfully.

Raiden had quietly entered the class and found a seat near the middle of the room, still looking a bit downcast about his recent discovery that he was not, in fact, a good kid. He saw Kingston Wendleworth and smiled a bit; he hadn't seen the guy all term, and from what he remembered, it was Kingston Wendleworth's final year here... he wouldn't see him again after this year was through. There was a cat in his pocket for the older boy, but he'd give it to him later.

Turning his attention to the Professor (who'd swatted Kingston's rear with her wand, which had made Raiden giggle a bit) he tried to think on what she'd told them to think about. Top ten moments? Well that was easy. Raiden had more than enough memorable moments. He started to compile the list in his head.

Kingston glared once she swatted his rearend with her wand. What was he some kind of sheep?! "If you please don't do that again I would greatly appreciate it, madam!" He practically hissed as his blue eyes grew cold as stone. "And I will not dress up for your hooligan games." After that, he strode across the class and sat in the front row, noticing that all the other students were sitting at the back.

Odd...

He snorted at her idea of a lesson, but did as he was told. He was here to get his grades, of course. And with this being his last term at Hogwarts, Kingston figured he should make the best out of it and enjoy the time he had left. Even when enjoying his time ment staying in a class with Professor Angelica Lainey.

Anna pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill and set to work. She put a lot of thought into her assignment, making sure she chose her absolute top ten most memorable moments. She smiled as she copied them down onto the parchment. This was a such a fun lesson! It was nice to remember the good times. When she was through, Anna put her parchment and quill in her lap and looked up at the professor, waiting to see what would happen next.

Barry was sitting behind Raiden it had been a while scince he had seen the boy the would have to catch up with him after class. But now to the lesson. Ooh top ten memories he diddn`t like all them but they were intresting so there for his top ten. He started scribbling away and started thinking about his past

Ooooh, this could actually be fun! She decided to do top 10 things she wanted to do it life before she died. That wasn't morbid, was it? She pulled out some parchment and started writing.
