Chalice walked throught the portrait hole and into the common room. It was pretty packed but she found her fav chair near the fire. She sat down with a box, some parchment, a bag of stuff from Hogsmead, and paper to wrap it in. She pulled everything out of the bag and carefully set it into the box. Finally with a tear, after wrapping the box she tied the four page letter to it.

Chalice heard the howl and looked around. It had jumped her and she almost spilled ink on Megan's letter. She looked around, how could she feel so alone in a room so full? She slumped in her seat and frowned she was depressed and missing everyone she loved and longed for.
