Beginning Potions Lesson 1

The door to the potions classroom is unlocked but, there is no light coming from inside. The entire corridor seems empty and deserted. Where on earth could the professor be?

Chris walked in to the potions classroom and sat down he was the first in the room and when he looked around the only one in the room where was the professor?

Chalice walked in and spotted Chris. "Where is the Professor? Do you mind if I sit with you?" she said to her friend.

"No thats great you can sit here!" he said "I dont know where they are."

Rachel walked into the classroom slowly, a little scared. Why was it so dark? Where was the professor? She noticed other people and sighed in relief. She sat down in the front row as usual and took out her things. She looked up once she finished, and asked them, "Do you know what's going on here?"

Mariel opened the door to the classroom and stepped inside, but the room was dark. She stood in the doorway for a moment, bewildered. She was certain it was time for class. She wasn't that early, so where was the professor? Mariel stepped in the classroom a bit further to get out of the way in case someone else came in, but opted not to take a seat just yet. It was too dark to find a seat anyway.

"No, we were wondering the same thing." Chalice said to the Ravenclaw girl who had walked in. "Thanks." she said turning to Chris.

"Idont know where the proffesor is" Chris said to the girl who asked.

"Hey mariel" Chris Waved to her.

Lizzie entered the classroom and looked around curiously. Only a few students were there and the professor where no where to be seen. She spotted Chalice with Chris, and walk up to them. "Hi guys, is the lesson about to start or what?" she asked them.

Livvy walked into the classroom and smiled. She waved at Mariel and walked towards Chris, Chalice, and Rachel and sat down. "Hey guys," Livvy said, with a small smile.

"Hey Liz. We don't know, like the Professor is missing." she said to her friend. "Hey Livvie."

Well, a few people were here anyway. Mariel thought she saw someone waving to her in the darkened room, so she decided to make her way over to his seat. "Oh hi, Chris," she said as she got closer and was able to recognize him. "Do you know what's going on?" she asked as she set down her bag.

Mariel turned and grinned as she saw Sarah approach. "Sit with us... I wonder where the professor is." Mariel looked around the dark room in confusion.

"Hey Livs," Rachel said, grinning at her. "Do you happen to know why it's all dark? And where the professor might be?" she asked hopefully.

Lizzie gave Chalice a smile and said "Well if the lesson hasn't started yet I'll just go get something and be back in a minute. See ya". She left the classroom and ran to the great hall to get the the book she'd forgot to take with her when she'd left the hall after lunch.

She found it, put it back into her bag and hurried back to the classroom. When she saw that the professor hadn't arrived yet, she took a deep breath and sat down on a chair. She picked up the book again and started reading it.

Nancy was slowly walking into the classroom behind someone who she didn't or better couldn't recognize duie to the darkness in the room. Uhm...okay, that was actually sort of creepy. Her eyes were scanning the room for someone or something she could actually see but without any success. "Uhm...hello? Anybody there? What's going on in here?" Judging by the shaking of her voice you knew that she was pretty scared. Nancy so didn't like the darkness. She was about to run out of the room again and simply not attend the Potions class.

"Okay, I'll cover for you incase the lesson starts before you return."

Chris said hey to Livvy and told her he didnt know what was going on he said the same to everyone else who aske dhe waved to Lizzie and sarah who just walked in.

"Who are those Ravenclaw girls?" Chalice wispered to Chris.

"Well Rachel is a and sarah are the ravenclaws and Mariel is A hufflepuff they are my friends too. " he said smiling towards them.

"Well long time no see" he said hugging sarah and mariel" Man i missed you guys. Idont know where the professor is."

Livvy narrowed her eyes and punched Chris and Chalice lightly. "Hey.. no whispering. Whatcha guys talking about?" she asked grinning, leaning towards them.

CHris leaned in to Livvy " I was telling Chalice who people were."

"I asked Chris who everybody except you, me, him, and Liz are." Chalice answered her nosey friend's question. *just joking:)*

Potions. The one class Mina had been waiting for. She entered the room, eager for once, glancing around her quickly. Wait, no professor? She could see several students, but there was definitely a lack of a professor right now.

Shrugging, she made her way towards an empty seat about half-way down the room, dropping gracefully into her seat.
