Anna broke out into a huge smile and leaned in to hug Cale in return. "And here we were saying our goodbyes at Hogsmeade like it'd be the last time we'd see one another for weeks," she whispered into his ear. She broke away from the hug and grabbed his hand.

"I was rooting for both teams, too," Anna replied, nodding in agreement with what Cale said. "Except, I didn't have any flags. I just used my big mouth! I'm happy for Ravenclaw, though. They have some awesome seekers! We didn't get to play them this year, so that pretty much means we'll be first up to battle them next school year. Are you going to try out again?"

"And, what are we doing this summer?" she asked, her face dancing with excitement at the thought. He'd promised her that they'd see one another all throughout the summer, and she was really looking forward to it. "I want to meet this sister of yours that's always giving you trouble. Although, I have a feeling that she and I just might not get along too well," she continued, winking at Cale. "I don't have any sisters or brothers you can meet, and you've already met my mom, but there's always my dad to meet. "He's not all that interesting, though. Trust me, your family life is a lot more interesting than mine."

"Hmph! Snake Boy," she mumbled, then smiled playfully at him. "I just saw him! Thanks! Have a nice rest of the term!" She waved at him and then turned to talk to Cale once again. She knew Josh would understand why she couldn't concentrate enough to hold a conversation with him. I mean, hello, Cale frazzling Newell was here!

Con had not intended to stumble onto the Quidditch game, although enjoyable, and he also had not intended to be swept up by the wave of students and deposited into this rather festive-looking shed. But, as usual, Con made the best of wherever he was, and made straight for the cherry jam buns.

The place was booked. Everyone seemed to know one another. He wasn't sure exactly what you were supposed to do at parties besides eat and talk, and he wasn't so great at the talking part. The term had practically flown by, and he had made perhaps two friends, of course who were both absent.

Feeling awkward, he began to back up towards the wall. Yes, the side was a good place to eat and not get trampled on. Con bumped against the wall and suddenly blushed, realizing there was a very pretty fellow wallflower standing terribly close. "Sorry," he immediately apologized. "Sorry, is this your--wall?"

Reese looked at Rhiannon and smiled."Hello,Rhiannon.It's nice to meet you,"she said.When Josh mentioned her 'brother',she glanced back at him."Oh.Things aren't getting too much better."She rolled her eyes.

Reese looked at the walls and back at Cale."I just noticed you guys didn't have a banner.I'm really slow,"she giggled."But maybe Gryffindor will come back next year."

Rhiannon lightly hit Josh in the shoulder with her other hand as he indirectly teased her again about confunding people, but she still smiled. She couldn't get angry at him for the teasing, not when she had told him she liked when he called her his confundus queen.

Then he was introducing her to someone. Twisting around to look, she saw a younger blonde girl. "Hi Reese," she said with a slightly embarrassed smile. "It's nice to meet you."

She grinned as he talked about spinning heads. "Yeah, I can relate to the heads spinning thing." She laughed. "Hey, we both have gotten hit on the head by wood." She found it funny that he had to bring cheesecake into the conversation and pretended to crane her neck to look on the food table for some. "I'm sure we could arrange for some cheesecake if you wanted it."

She lightly ran her hand over his face, and then stepped back a bit as he put his hands in his pockets. "Okay, it's a deal. But I hope it doesn't hurt you for that long." She might have to have a serious conversation with Mia if it did. Then he went on about how he broke the Huffie's broom. "Well, I think she's gonna have to get a new broom first. And she probably will think twice before trying to tackle anyone while on it." She smiled as he congratulated her. "Thank you. But I could have played better. I didn't even get one goal."

James entered the broom shed. He'd just heard about the after party, but he was elated that Ravenclaw had won the Cup. There were several people already there.

"Don't be one of those people that secludes themselves to the buffet." , he thought.

He walked a bit further into the shed, looking for familiar faces.

Anna spotted Allie walking through the room. She smiled and waved at the first year. Gryffindor had received some of the best first years this past school year, and Anna was definitely grateful for them. She spotted Allie also waving to someone else in the room, so Anna turned to see who else had gotten Allie's attention. When Anna saw that it was Reese Northway, she smiled and waved at her, as well.

Juniper was taken by surprise when she heard a voice unnaturally close to her. She dropped the remainder of her sandwich as eyes widened in shock. This was bad. This was very bad. Someone was talking to her, a boy, and not only did she not know him, he was apologizing for something.

“M-my wall? N-no, it’s not my wall, it’s just, I mean. I’m just standing here, I mean,” Juniper stammered at the boy, her face turning steadily redder. “It’s not my wall. I-I’ll move if you want to stand here, if.. if you want.”

So much for staying out of the way, Juniper thought. Now, even if the boy did walk away, she had to get herself another sandwich. And that meant venturing out into the throng of people. Of course, she could always weave amongst the other students until she found someone she knew, but then she might be eaten. Which brought her attention back to the boy. Juniper eyed him suspiciously. He didn’t look like the cannibalistic type, but looks could be deceiving. And she certainly couldn't outright ask him if he ate people. Not only was that rude, it could be provocative if he did indeed eat people who were smaller than he.

Lima headed over to her friend, who seemed lonely and said, "hey Tia. How ya doing?" She had a smile on her face even though her team had lost. It was all good still.

More people started entering the cosy, yet very decorative shed. It didn't really look like a shed anymore, with the house colours and no sightings of any brooms, just happy people. Of course they were happy ...

The schools were mixed in here, which meant ..

Surely a certain Hufflepuff would be here? She played in the match, she would have to congratulate the other team Miles had thought. But he didn't have to look for her, Vannie had laready found, like most scenario's.
Unless it was someone else tapping on his back, how dare they?

Anyway, Miles hoped it was Vannie and turned around anyway. It was. WOOHOO!
"Why hello." He spoke in a very suave tone, leaving the 'OMIGOSH HAII.' in his head. "Well done. You were really great out there." Miles smiled and kissed his ickle girlfriend on the cheek. "Better luck next time though, right?"

Tia smiled and said "I'm doing alright Lima" Tia hugged her friend

"you can borrow my brother." he teased as he then added," you need anyone to come over and put him in line, let me know." he told her. "did you have a good time at the game?"


"owe..why are beating me up for? Gesh why dont you grab a broom and join in." he said sarcastically." Reece is like my little sister." he explained as he remembered jai and her having fun over the winter break."have you seen jai around lately?" he asked as he had to see her before the end of the term. he also had a few new questions to ask her.

"you mean when your head was spinning when you got hit by a bludger. Bludger love you dont they." he said as she had almost got hit by one today."It's not my fault you chaser after dogs and then get hit by draft wood. You should really watch that.Crazy drift wood jumps out of no where." he watched her as she looked over at the cheesecake."Cheesecake and you? what happened to the cookies?" Her and cheescake was a bad combination.

"I'll be perfect tomorrow." he assured her as he didnt want her to worry."Promise." he moved to give her a quick kiss on her head." You did awesome.you were right there with ryan..the whole time. The eagle formation was pretty cool. You were awesome." he looked over to see james." hey its james." he said as he thought maybe he should stop hogging her.

"I'm like everybody's little sister all of a sudden,"Reese said with a smile."Actually.I haven't seen Jai lately."

"You have a brother?"Reese said."I didn't know that.Okay,I will let you know and I did have fun at the game.Did you?"

Reese saw Anna wave at her and gave her a little way as well.

James sidstepped a cluster of girls. He was glad that both schools were attending this party.
Passing the food table he grabbed a glass of Pumpkin Juice. Raising the glass to his face, he saw two familiar faces. Josh...and the girl from the Quidditch team, Rhiannon. He hadn't seen either in ages. James made his way over to the two, as Josh looked his way.

While she was waiting for Miles to turn around Vannie had snuck another glance around the broomshed, it was getting fuller now, surely it would get full at some stage and they'd all be like sardines. That would be something. She looked back at Miles just at the right moment as he turned around. She blushed at his words, knowing that he would say she was good.
"Thanks Miles," She commented with a smile as she hugged him quickly before pulling away to look at him. "Yeah. Practise makes perfect," She nodded, knowing that she shouldnt let not winning get her down and anyway how could she be unhappy at this big party. It was meant to be fun wasnt it? "Are you trying out next term?"

"That's great," she said though she was a little distracted. She was starting to worry about Mads. She had seen him get hurt and he was nowhere to be seen...

Maddox was slowly but surely walking into the party. He had woken up alone in the locker room. Apparently the girls left him there to sleep...he was alittle angry about that. "Ouch....." he said rubbing his head and his chest.

"Yeah," Cale said, taking her hand as well. "In just a few days we'll have the last of our finals and we'll be on the train," he added with a grin.

"I can't wait till next season," he told her with a broad smile. "And of course I'm trying out! I didn't expect to like playing Chaser so much--I usually only played Beater when I practiced with my cousins," he explained.

Cale rolled his eyes at her next statement, "Don't worry about Ezra, she's hardly going to be around all summer. No, it will just be my other two sisters--I'm hoping," he added, wondering vaguely if Ezra WOULD choose to stick around a bit if it meant she could torture him a bit.

"Yeah, I don't mind though. It'd probably just get me mad that we gave up our lead like that," Cale chuckled. "I hope so...you should play Quidditch! It's loads of fun!" he encouraged her.

Lima rushed to Mads when she saw him enter the party. He looked so sore. "Where were you?" she asked full of concern as she led him to a seat and had him sit down. She then got him a drink of water.

When she handed it to him she saw his nails. She raised her brows. "Um, why do you have my name and a heart painted on your nails?" she asked looking at him funny.

"I did try-out that last two terms,but haven't made it still.I think I'm just going to give up on playing Quidditch,"Reese said."I guess it's not my thing."She shrugged.

James walked up to Josh and Rhiannon. "Hey you two." he said with a grin. "Long time no see." He took a sip of his drink.
Thinking of an even more important question he said, "Can you believe we're almost graduates?"

Tia stood to the side and let Maddox and Lima chat she was a bit sad because she hadnt seen Brandon for ages

"I'm not beating you up. I didn't even hit you that hard," Rhiannon said with a grin. She nodded as he explained that Reese was like a little sister to him, and then looked at him, puzzled, as he asked about Jai. "Are you asking me? Cause no, I don't really think I've seen her around."

As he brought up the bludger from earlier in the game, she shook her head. "I know. Last term I got hit by a bludger, this term I ended up upsdie down because of one. I don't know what the deal is with that." She smiled. "Yeah that crazy driftwood just jumped right out of the sand and attacked me. It hd nothing to do with me tripping over more driftwood because Sparky happened to steal something from me." Then he brought up cheesecake and cookies. She grinned. "Well, there's cookies over there too. But I don't trust cookies that are this close to school anymore.

"Okay," she said as he promised he'd be better tomorrow. And then kissed her on the head. That was probably the closest they'd get without risking a professor jumping out and punishing them. As he kept going with the fact that she had played awesome, she nodded. "I guess. You mean the Hawkshead formation? Yeah, that was pretty cool, huh?" She figured Jonathan would have been proud of her, at least. And he was her main Quidditch judge.

Then she looked over where Josh's gaze was pointed, and saw James.

As the seventh-year Ravie came over, she smiled. "Hey James. It has been a long time, hasn't it? I think since the train." She shrugged. "not much we could do about it, huh? But how've you been?"

"Hi Anna." she said. "Did you like the match?"

Miles smiled as he watched Vannie's face light up with his. Her smile was much more awesome than his though.
"Exactly." He agreed as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back.

Quite a few people in the squished shed were in couples, it seemed students missed their loved ones, just like he did. But Miles liked to think that he loved his girlfriend more. They were the ultimate couple. Again, Miles just thinking that him and Vannie were awesome .. which they were. Hehe.
Miles looked over Vannie's shoulder as he hugged her. MORE PEOPLE! If this kept happening, Miles and Vannie would be permanantly hugging each other, as there would be no more room to part.

Of course. Miles didn't mind. Wink wink.

He parted from Vannie, with the little space that he had, and stuffed his hands in his pockets, the usual place.
"Maybe. I really hated myself when I forgot to go." He chuckled. "But, I'm not sure. I may still have to think about it. I don't think I'm cut out for Quidditch."
At first, Miles thought he could do anything, but when he watched the teams play, especially Vannie, he had to think twice. What if he got hit in the face by a bludger? HIS alright looking face? Vannie wouldn't want kiss him ever again, then he would be angry at whoever hit the bludger at him. But let's face it, his face wasn't moulded by angels. Maybe being hit by a bludger would make it look better?

"I hate to say this, but I'll be SO glad when the train comes. I'm usually never ready to leave, but since we moved to the new schools, I haven't enjoyed the school year as much. The one and only thing that made this school year better was you. If I wouldn't have met you, I probably wold have quit and moved to America with Emma. That's what I was considering doing in the beginning, at least. And then, well, we'll just say that you're worth sticking around for," she explained to him. "We haven't heard back from the Minister on that last owl, though. I'm a little nervous to see what will happen. Cela wants to know what we'll do when he finds out there's no treasure. That's the part that scares me the most, but, you know, I just think he may be the one to search for it forever anyway."

"I'm not too sure I want to play Quiddtch next term, Cale," Anna explained. "I used to be so much better when I was a first and second year. I think playing seeker that one game really made me shy about the whole game. I still can't believe that Huffie seeker was that good. Who knows, though. I'll probably come around by the next time next school year starts. You just might see me on that Quidditch pitch after all."

"I was actually kind of hoping Ezra would be there, though. I'm not too happy with her right now, and I really want to be there the next time she starts in on you. You just might have to pry your girlfriend away from hexing your sister to Mars and back," she said, winking at him to let him know she was kidding. Well, halfway kidding, that is. She couldn't make any promises that she wouldn't have words with Miss Ezra Greenboat.

Anna listened as Cale talked with Reese about the banners hung throughout the shed. "I don't really mind either," she said, joining in on the conversation. "I mean, what's it supposed to say? 'Congratulations Gryffindor for Coming in Last?' Psh. I'd rather not have a banner. Besides, we're first for the house cup if you take away the unfair 2000 points. That's more than good enough for me!"

"Oh, yeah! It was awesome!" Anna replied. "Would have been more awesome if it was Gryffindor rather than Ravenclaw, but it was a good game. Maybe that'll be us next term. Are you trying out again?"
