Sara walked in and said "Hi, My name is Sara."

Melita popped up from her seat, bubbly and excited. She pushed a tray of cookies closer to the edge of the desk. "Oh, Sara so very very nice to meet you. Please come in and have a cookie. Would you like some cocoa to go with it? It is a bit hot out of cocoa, though... Chocolate milk?" she beamed and bounced. "OH! And please do have a seat. What's on your mind, sweetheart?"

Amanda knocked on the door of Professor Melita's office, waiting for the okay to enter. She had several questions that she needed answering.

Amelia wasn't entirely sure that she wanted to do this, but she figured it might be a good idea. Get an edge in with the ministry never hurt anything, especially since this was her final year. She had to admit it was strange having all her classes on one floor this year, as opposed to the several floors she was used to running up and down at the old hogwarts. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes, wishing for the best. It's now or never, she told herself for the millionth time.

Opening her eyes, she was quite surprised to see that the door was open and inside, it was simply elegant. Much more impressive than anything she'd ever seen before. And: there were cookies! However there was a slight downfall with her plan; there were other students in the office besides the professor who looked quite young and probably very hyperactive too. Biting her lip, she took a step forward to approach the fancy desk. "Professor Melita?" she asked, hesitantly, making sure she'd read the nameplate correctly. "Hi.. I just wanted to introduce myself before classes started, and well, perhaps ask something of you as well." Maybe she'd get to do it by note, if she was lucky.

Tinkerbell walked up to the office door and knocked. There was a girl standing next to her, Bell turned and said
"Hi im Tinkerbell, bell for short. Im in second year. You??" She asked the girl

"Amanda..Amanda Lesalle, first year Slytherin pureblood" Amanda said, extending her hand.

"Hey Amanda, Im in my second year adn i am a muggle born" Bell took Amanda's hand in a greeting

"Come in, come in! The more the merrier I always say. Help yourself to cookies. I was just about to get some chocolate milk. Now... how many glasses do we need now?" she said, bouncing up from her chair and pushing over another tray of cookies. She pointed a finger to each student in turn and spoke slowly. "Oooooonnne... Twooooooooo... Threeeeee..." she ended pointing at her chest and beamed. "Three. But, really we should have more. Maybe we'll even have a party!" She clapped her hands in glee and then turned to get some glasses.
When she turned back around, hovering a tray with at least a dozen glasses on them before her there were MORE students. "Oh goodie!" she clapped her hands together and rested the tray on the table. "More students! Of course you can come in and ask me absolutely anything, dear. Anything at all," she said with a smile so big you wondered if her face hurt.
"Oh well, now it IS a party. Everyone talking and getting to know one another. Such good kids. My Berty will be so pleased to hear the girls are getting along," she smiled and started pouring chocolate milk from her wand into the glasses.

She pushed a glass into each girl's hand and then held the tray of cookies out to them. "Now, what shall we talk about. OH! Or we could sing a song!"

Bell started to giggle,
'Sing a song now this is going to be fun' Bell thought
She took the milk and a cookie from the tray and said thank you
"What song shall we sing professor?" She asked

Tia walked up to the potions professors office and knocked on the door she hated the new rules but she may as well get to know all of the professors

Argyle pops into Mistress Melita's Office with her tea tray. Argyle places it on her desk when Argyle spots a tin of cookies. Argyle snaps his fingers. The cookies disappear. "Only house elves are allowed to cook cookies at Hogwarts Belle, whatever this school is."

Amelia smiled graciously at this professor's apparent enthusiasm with the girls. Well there are at least two semi-decent professors, she thought dramatically. Before she could say anything in response, she felt a glass being shoved into her hand, "Er thank you," she said grinning. But just as she was about to take a cookie from the tray, a house elf appeared and made them disappear!

Now if only she could remember the elf's name; she knew he looked familiar, but she was horrible with names of the house elves. Not Algamus... he was the head honcho... Instead of addressing the elf, she smiled at him politely. "I'm sure Professor Melita didn't mean to cause any trouble, but just likes to cook," she told him encouragingly.

Now turning back to face the Professor, she sighed looking at the other students in the office. "Okay Professor, but I think I'll write it down in a note form," she told the potions professor quietly. "Oh and my name is Amelia. Amelia Rose." she added quickly. And with that, she settled down onto the hardwood floor, withdrawing some parchment and her self-inking quill from her messenger bag.

Argyle looks at the teacher. Could she be Professor Melita. "Teachers do not bake in Belle's kitchens. Only house elves are allowed to cook in the kitchen. Mistress Rae makes the rules. Teachers should obey them like house elves do."

After walking around the first floor for a while Alexis finally decided to go threw her plan. She planned on confronting the cookie giving potions lady! Yes. She needed to. NEEDED. Knocking on the slightly open door of Professor Melita's office Alexis could make out a couple oh people threw the crack. Maybe this was a bad time?

"Oh, why anything you'd like, dear," she beamed. She did so love a party. If only Berty were here. She sighed wistfully and thought of her very large, important, and dear, dear friend.
"Don't be shy! Come in, come in," Professor Melita trilled as there was yet another knock on the door. "There are plenty of cookies and chocolate milk for all!"
"Oh, don't be so silly. Of course Miss Belle would allow me to bake cookies in her school. I shall write to her for confirmation if you wish it," Sophie said and pat the poor, dear, creature on the head and snapped her fingers so that more cookies appeared. She seemed to have an infinite supply of them.
Sophie laughed and pet the house elf once again. "OF course not. I wouldn't dream of baking in the illustrious kitchens reserved for the talented house elves who make their livelihood there. I bake the on my own," she grinned and then knelt before the house elf making cutesy faces and cooing noises as if it were a baby.[/color]

"Lets see" Bell said thinking, "Can we sing the get on my nerves song, just to be random?" She asked, 'this is going to be so funny' she thought

As Amelia was waiting on a reply from cookie professor, she saw from her peripheral vision a tall familiar blond girl, who looked about her height. Alexis, of course, she probably smelled the sweets a mile away... "Lexi? You could come in you know," she told the fifth year, smiling. She needed to talk to her at some point actually, just not in the presence of a professor's office.


Amelia then turned back to Cookie lady as she addressed the house elf. She nodded approvingly, as the professor basically told the elf what she had said. It was the sad truth though: the poor elves had little control over this school and the kitchens. Shaking her head subtly, she grinned though as more cookies seemed to appear from nowhere. What about Gamp's law of transfiguration? Oh maybe it wasn't from nothing... Deciding to ignore it, she picked another cookie up and bit into it sharply. "Delicious!" she exclaimed.

But then she noticed that the professor seemed to ignore her note, or maybe was just distracted by the company and the elf visit. "Professor Melita? My note," she said softly. "Should I come back to address the issue another time, do you think?"

Hearing someones voice address her Alexis blinked and opened the door. She could come in? Walking into the Potions Professor's office Alexis noticed that alot of people where in here. And a house elf. A HOUSE ELF!!!! Ewww. Moving as far from the house elf as possible Alexis bumped into someone. "Oh Mia sorry!" She said walking behind the older girl to get away from the house elf. "..Hey! You're the one that told me to come in! Oh well I think I should be going now." Alexis said with another small glance to the evil scary house elf.

Tia walked into the office and smiled and said "Cool cookies i love cookies"

*Sheeta made her way to the potions teacher's office. As she was walking to the door, she kept flipping through her new basic potions book, searching for a hair color changing potion or something of the sort. She had gotten half way through the book when she came up to the door. Quickly memorizing her page number and closing the book, she knocked on the professor's door.*

*While waiting for the professor to open the door, Sheeta continued to seach for a potion to sing about. Suddenly, she came upon a potion called "The Polyjuice Potion." It talked about changing the drinker's appearance for an hours time. It was perfect! She hurried along and said a silent sorry to the professor because she had knocked and left. Before rounding the corner, she made sure the professor wasn't there... PHEW! Sheeta continued on her way.*

Monica knocked on the professor's door and waited patiently.

"Oh, I think that would be just wonderful. You'll have to teach it to me, though. I don't think I've ever heard it."
"Oh... So sorry, dear. I forgot to even read it in all the commotion," she giggled and pushed the tray of newly summoned cookies to her as she read. "An intern? Oh goodness me, that would be lovely but, I'm afraid I cannot possibly accept without first consulting the Headmistress. Taking an intern could constitute a show of favoritsm and I am not really doing any healing. You'd be better off asking the healer."
"The door is open!" she sang out to the two standing in the doorway knocking on the door. So silly considering there was clearly a party going on inside. "Come in and join us for cookies and milk."

Monica walked in. "Sorry Professor Melita. I just didn't want to walk in, just in case you were too busy to see me." She looked at the offered cookies. "I'm sorry professor but I don't eat sweets anymore if I can help it. Side effect from last term." Monica admitted sheepishly. "I have a question for you if you have time."
