Xana took her glasses and bologna, sighing and going to her place in the back of the class. Her heart just wasn't in it today, nevertheless she'd do what was expected of her. She uttered the incantation and swished her wand, then as nothing happened she realized she'd have to focus. Unfortunately, every time she tried to focus troubling thoughts got in the way... She focused again, looking at the equipment with a sharp, steely look, and uttered the incantation again. Success. Well huzzah.

Kayla walked up to the Professor's desk and retrieved a pair of sunglasses and some bologna and went back and sat at her own desk. She placed the bologna and sunglasses on the table and stared at them for a long moment focusing her mind. She then gave her wand a swish and said the incantion with a confident voice, "Porsectum" and was delighted to see the lenses pop out of the glasses to be replaced by the bologna.

Anna followed the others to the front of the room, where she retrieved a pair of sunglasses and some bologna. She carried her materials back to her desk and pulled out her wand.
Uttering the spell to herself in her mind, she went over the swish and flick motion used for the spell. Finally feeling confident enough, Anna raised her wand, and with a strong, "Porsectum!" she had herself a pair of sunglasses with bologna in place of the lens.
Anna smiled in wonder at the glasses. She was almost laughing to herself at the sight she had created.

Alex went to the desk, grabbed her supplies and went back to her desk to lay them out. She picked up her wand as she sat back down and pointed it at the sunglasses. She thought hard on what she wanted and in a wishing movement said Porsectum, but nothing happened the first time.
She thought again of the lens becoming bologna and performed the spell a second time. To her amazement the spell worked and she smiled, glad she was able to perform the switching spell.

Juniper followed the other students to the professor's desk and took sunglasses and bologna, then she returned to her desk and set the supplies down. She picked up her wand.
"Porsectum," she said, waving her wand in the general direction of the sunglasses. Nothing happened. Juniper bit her lip and brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Porsectum," she repeated with a swish of her wand, putting the accent on a different syllable. Still nothing.
Juniper squinted her eyes and pointed her wand at the sunglasses. "Porsectum," she said once more as she flicked her wand in a tight loop to point at the bologna instead. Juniper grinned in relief when the bologna took the place of lenses in the sunglasses and the dark lenses were suddenly on her desk. She had done a switching spell! | |

Lily followed everyone to the front of the room. Once she got the items, she swished her wand and mumbled "Porsectum". The lenses fell out of the glasses, but the bologna didn't replaced them yet. She placed the lenses back inside the sunglasses, and tried again. "Porsectum" she said again, but more clearly. Bologna actually did replace the lenses. "It's not as hard as I thought," she thought.

Cassandra watched the professor. Her wand movement, her inflection, her tone. She'd been practicing all the spells Pride had taught her. She was very talented in transfiguration.
"Porsectum!" Cassandra said moving her wand over the glasses. It turned into Bologna... first try... she was really getting rather advanced in this subject.

Marco laughed as he watched Cassandra. He didn't know why he was laughing, he just was. It was his turn next. With a swish of his wand his lens' turned into bologna. He didn't even have to say the spell. There was a reason he got an O in this subject at OWLs.

Willow made her way towards the teacher's desk. She grabbed her bologna and glasses and went back to her sit. She looked around for a moment, and saw that her classmates were already practicing the spell. Thankfully, she had a handkerchief inside her bag to clean her hands from all the bologna.
"Porsectum" She muttered, pointing her wand to the sunglasses. Nothing happened. She was not dissapointed though, it was her first try after all. Clearing her throat and this time a little more loud, she said the incantation once again. The sunglasses tremebled for some odd reason. Why is not working?? Am I forg--Right, the swish. "Porsectum!" She said now in her normal tone of voice, confidently as she made the swish with her wand. Willow almost giggle at the sight of the sunglasses with bologna in the lenses.
After cleaning her hands from all the bologna she, she put her wand back inside her robes and waited for the professor's new instructions.

Time to clear all the chatter from her mind and concentrate on the task at hand. Qaz picked up her wand one more time, gave it a swish and clearly spoke 'Por-SEC-tum'. She could swear she saw the bologna move a bit, but not switch.
Progress....one more time...
Swish...'Por-SEC-tum'
It worked!
Qaz just stared for a minute or two, then a big smile crept across her face. | |

Katelyn wrote down many noted, barely even paying attention to anything anyone said that wasnt important. She was very focused in class...usually. She put down her quill, and cracked her sore knuckles from writing so much. She pulled out her wand from her pocket(which still had the lime green ribbon tied to it) and took the pair of sunglasses and bologna.
"Sounds easy enough...but....hmm..." she muttered to herself, and squinted hard at the sunglasses. She pointed her shaky hand at the sunglasses, and concentrated hard.
"Pur-sec-tome!" she said softly, and completely wrong. Nothing happened. SHe grumbled, disatisfied with herself. She tried again.
"Porsitum!" she said quickly, and wrong again. Oops. Nothing happened...she groaned quietly to herself again.
"Alright..last time...and then I ask Ems or someone for help..." she muttered, and tried again.
"Porsectum!" she said sharply, and flicked her wand this time. To her complete and utter surprise, it worked! She squealed loudly in delight, and put the glasses on.
"Oh...I look cool..." she said with a giggle to herself, and then set them back on the table.

Ariana grinned as she walked towards the desk and took the glassezs and bolonga. She loved this spell, having been trying to learn it since she had read about it in her fourth year. Walking back to her seat, she placed the items on the dsk and closed her eyes, concentrating on the spell itself. "Por-SEC-tum...Porsectum..." She repeated over and over, imagining the wand movement.
When she had got the spell down, or at least the incantation, she picked up her wand and set to work. Putting the glasses in front of her, she concentrated on thinking of the lenses being removed from the holder, and the bologna being put into their place. Once she had the concentration down, she swished her wand and said "Por-SEC-tum" At first nothing happened. "Hmm, didn't concentrate hard enough." She murmured.
Closing her eyes again, she concentrated on just the lenses and bologna. She stayed still for a few minutes, ignoring the students around her. When she figured she concentrated enough she opened her eyes and tried again, after repairing her glasses of course. Swishing her wand she said clearly, "Por-SEC-tum!" And waited. What appeared to be nothing really was something, as one second two clear lenses were on her glasses, the next half lense and half bologna. She couldn't help but giggle at her mess and stopped to write it out.

Joseph walked up feeling rather skiddish. He walked up to the professor's desk concentrated on the lenses and said, "Porsectum!" However, the spell didn't work. So, Joseph decided to try one last time. This time, he imagined the bologna in the place of the lenses, and said, "Porsectum!" Sure enough, he got it right. Amazed, he just sort of stood there dumbfounded at his accomplishment. His grandfather taught him very very basic Transfiguration, but this was insane. He looked to the professor, not knowing what to do next, and feeling quite awkward. | |

Wednesday aimed her wand at the glasses and hoped to god she'll pronounced the spell correctly. Is it pursectem or porsectum? Pursectum or porsectum?...She was more nervous on how the glasses might turn out, but concentrated really hard on how everyone else was pronouncing the spell...Hearing it's pronounced porsectum.
"Porsectum!" Wednesday finally said. The glasses turned into bologna, instead of some monster she feared. Perfect!...
