Alex looked at the prefect and the older Slytherin boy she haven'e met, and probably never will if he kept annoying Cassandra. Being on Cassandra's bad side wasn't a good thing, and Alex had a first hand experience, even if it wasn't at her worse.

Laylee was writing notes about what everyone was saying and the answers the professor was giving. Laylee already knew this spell, so she didnt bother to answer. She had only used it a few times however. Once when she needed to erase a drawing as quikly as possible and a couple times when she really needed parchent.
Laylee was definatly curious about what had happend to Professor Pride; but she tried to act like she hadn't noticed her state, thinking that she would rather her students not adress it.

Hermy swung her head round and looked at Marco, despite of herself. She frowned at him slightly, before turning back to the lesson in hand. She found the rogue Slytherin slightly amusing, it had to be said. Only because she wanted Ravenclaw to be in the lead though. If the person in question had been her house, she would be ready to curse them right about now.
Hermy's thoughts turned to the subject of today's lesson. It sounded a useful spell to know, Hermy had so many half finished canvases that would be good to clear and start again. Using turps was hard work when the paint was totally dry.

Rhiannon raises her eyebrows as, out of the corner of her eye, she sees Cassandra lettting the other Slytherin get to her. She almost expected smoke to start pouring out of the prefect's ears. She was vaguely interested. It would be kind of ironic if the Slytherin prefect lost her temper and lost points for her house. And maybe Ravenclaw could sneak past in points and take the lead again, she thought.

Curt shook his head at the whole deal with the Slytherin prefect and the other guy, pretty interesting fellow in Curts opinion. Looking over his notes, Curt smiled slightly and really wanted to try the spell on them because he felt he understood it very well. Curt shoved the thought to the back of his mind and directed his gaze up to the Professor, just waiting to see what to do next.
