Lyra shook her head and began to slightly laugh, not at what Christian said but because she was fighting back the anger of everything that was going on around her at the present moment.

Lyra looked to her so called uncle and wondered how long this was going to go on. She was more than ready to leave, leave this whole school behind and not turn back. This was absolutely crazy and it was her fault. She placed her hands to her head needing a moment with her journal to write a note to her father. She would not tell him everything except for one thing.

"And you couldn't have just left it at that? You couldn't have explained the WHOLE situation to me at the Stained Glass Windows? No, you must have prefered making me look like a fool. I should be used it, a lot of people seem to want to do that lately."

Christian stared ahead. That was it. He wanted to leave this school; there was nothing for him anymore...everyone figured that he was nothing. They all thought of him as the guy they could push around to get what they wanted. Nobody cared for how he felt.

"I suppose, Opera is an acquired taste. Don't worry i see you have the talent already, you'll have it all in no time". Fabian explained, of course, he wasn't even talking about Opera, he was hinting how talented Ryder was. Minister Cooper would have loved a boy like him, oh would he work on the boy later. Such prominent talent for the wizarding world.

"Sure" Fabian replied then busied himself collecting the critters, placing beetles in a separate jar than leeches. He could hear Angela questioning the kids, but he mused and snickered randomly over Ryder and Marco's responses. Bloody hooligans they were.

Fabian cleared his throat to add, "Music is such pleasure, gives life a meaning you know?" but he didn't sound too convincing. He still had a boiling temper, and he wasn't even a Scott. "Yes I believe the sooner we leave the better, potion brewing is too specific and I don't want to be late".

Bloody rotten luck, thats exactly what he had today. He remembered her as the professor from the student search party, the one with the panda.

"I believe we've met" Fabian reminded her, but he knew from the way she was peaking around the office. Opera wasn't her only interest. He worked too long in London's undergrounds to know when a person was lying. Been in the business too long.

"Fabian Clark" he said clearly annoyed, "and I don't think i need to mention Care of Magical creatures professor" since clearly she was in his office. She must know where she's going. "Quite so, I love Opera. I believe i have an extra ticket if you'd like to go with me into London to see one? But I'm afraid now is not a good time, we're heading to brew potion!" he passed the beetle Jar to Angela, while he held tight to the leeches Jar. "Care to join us?".

"Very good Lyra! But i believe the hero in the opera is called Don José not Christian.. make sure to remember that next time around!" he mused then glanced at the students, "Bravo! you kids were splendid! Now Now make sure you practice the Opera while I'm gone" he glanced at Ryder, Marco, then Aggie respectively with scrutinizing eyes. "Make sure not to leave until I come back, and practice!.. you know how i love to watch you kids sing!" he snickered then nudged Angela towards the door before Alex decides to walk in.

Sing!!! what no.... he would never get out of here. Oh ...fabian was going to be into trouble. he was going to find some animal.. and then..fabian is walking down the lovely pathways when out of no where... bam! a giant sort of evil animal comes and tackles him. josh chuckled to himself..he wished he was that evil. he heard a familar voice.. it was alex!!! she would save him..she loved him. he started to move around in the stupid cage. the next thing you knew josh was shaking it so much that it was making loud noises against the desk. he heard some things fall off the desk as well. yes! thank goodness he was gifted with a big built. all those hours working out had paid off. he banged against the desk more and more.

Angela gave a laugh as the students gave a reply to her question. "Interesting life lessons there." She remarked with a smile. There was still something tugging at her, though what it was she was not certain. She wished she could grasp it.

As she heard someone approach, Angela looked back, a pleased smile crossing her features. "Alex! How have you been?" As the other professor mentioned that she enjoyed opera, Angela was thrilled. Another person she could speak with about musical tastes. How wonderful!

"That is quite true, but one must experience a wide variety of music to gain the full impact of just how powerful all of those notes and chords are." She added to his setence, though her eyes were still sweeping the office.

As a jar was passed to her, Angela nearly dropped it for she was not expecting it, and for the reason that her attention had been directed towards Lyra. Though...a glance down at the jar told her that it was exactly what she hoped she would not have to encounter. Ew, ew, ew! Struggling to keep a look of distate from appearing, Angela simply smiled as she was gestured towards the door.

"One moment, Fabian." She spoke as she turned quickly and went around him, setting the jar down on a nearby chair. "Excuse me, young lady, but just who are you talking to?" She asked of Lyra who seemed to be talking to a set of robes.

At that exact moment, a sudden rocking noise was heard, getting louder as Fabian's desk suddenly began to rattle and shake. "What's going on here?" She demanded as she moved further into the room to investigate. She knew something was amiss.

Alex's eyebrows raised slightly, something didnt sound right here, "That sounds lovely Fabian, I'll be sure to keep my calander open." she said loudly over the music. 'Ok... somethings deffinetly going on.' she thought to herself as she noticed Fabian nudging Ang towards the door.
As she was considering her next course of action, a opertunity presented itself. "Oh! Something fell off your desk, I'll get it!" Alex said springing past Fabian and snatching up the fallen objects. As she looked up to place them back on the desk, she found herself face to face with Josh... who was locked in a cage!

Alex's jaw dropped, "Josh!" she exclaimed, "What happened!?" Whipping around to face Fabian she cried, "What is the meaning of this!"

Marco couldn't sing. He wasn't about to practice with these two. And he wasn't babysitting Devil-boy and Christian. He continued to drink his sour lemonade. He eyed Lyra. Hopefully this was his chance to talk to her.

Josh looked to see alex.ZOMG he loved her. he started to yell." HE STUCK ME IN A CAGE!!! I DIDNT DO ANYTHING I SWEAR!" of course he went on telling her about the story, but seh couldnt excatly hear him."Let me out!" he asked her as he then moved around in the cage again trying to move closer to her. oh sweet angel.. of transfiguration.

"Good God!" Fabian muttered slapping a hand against face, those two women were dang too nosey for his liking. "That I believe is my niece" he pointed out to Angela and if anyone had any caring to 'what is going with her', it was bloody him!

He raised a brow, she wasn't serious? Was she? He was hoping to scare her out of an invitation and not actually to accept it! He watched her bounce around the room, he remembered Ryder hiding the cage but not exactly where. Bloody hell, she found Josh.

"Oh! Him.. well" he tilted sideways trying to find a good way to explain it to Alex, but there wasn't any. "He compromised my niece, so he'll stay there until a holy man arrives to marry him to her".

"Shut up Josh. I don't blame Professor Clark for locking you in a cage. You deserve it," Marco said, "You are such a jerk, and a disgrace to males everywhere." He took a sip of the drink, and squeezed his leg, "And he was right about you not being good enough for Lyra. She deserves way better than you."

Christian remained laying down on the base of the cage, still covered by the robes. He could hear everything else being said, but his eyes were focused on the inside folds of the robes. He could get used to being in here. He was safe from the world, the pain, and Fabian.

Lyra ignored Christian for a moment as her crazy uncle began speaking of an opera? "Cute! Really cute," she spoke to herself as she rolled her eyes then looked back over to the two boys in separate cages. How could Fabian embarrass her like this? Now she knew she was going to hear about this from Josh because...well, he just looked irrate and she didn't know if Christian would ever speak to her again, not like he was doing a good job about it right now. Oh how he made her so angry, angry enough that...well, it wasn't him, she was more mad at herself than with Christian. She had hurt him beyond belief and never meant too.

"But the stained glassed windows? I really meant what I said," she threw her hands up to her face as she began to cry. How could she be the person she turned out to be...the one standing in this room at this very moment. Never in her life had she become this evil and hurtful and she truly didn't like herself at the moment.

Christian heard crying; Lyra crying. Oh no, oh no, oh no..He sat upright quickly and banged his head against the top of cage. For the love of all things furry! He clutched his head and waited for the pain to subside. Once it had, he kicked at the bars of the cage again. He wanted to get out; he didn't want Lyra to cry. He wanted to make things better. He would never live it down if he left with him and Lyra on really bad terms.

He still wanted her friendship...it's just this whole thing had irritated him and it shouldn't have.

Alex pulled out her wand and pointed it in the direction of Josh's cage, the lock promptly shattered and the door swung open, "Come on out Josh dear." she said.
"What are you talking about?? Josh wouldnt do something like that!" Alex exclaimed, "And you are certainly not going to marry them! He's bloody 15!" she finished her voice rising two or three volume levels. "And what right do you have to lock him in a cage? From the tone of your voice I can tell there is no good answer for this." she spat as she pulled Josh out of the cage, careful to keep him behind her incase Fabian tried something.
Whipping around to face the boy who apparently joined the 'Josh bashing fest' she yelled, "Shut up! Before I turn you into a fly and swat you."
Spotting a pile of robes rocking back and fourth out of the corner of her eye, she flicked her wand again and the robes flew away revealing yet another student in a cage. Turning to Fabian with a disbelieving look on her face she cried, "Bloody hell how many do you have!?"

"Professor, there is no need to yell at me. For I did not yell at you or Josh. And transfiguring me into a fly, would be against your contract, would it not? You are not allowed to transfigure a student. It would give me reason to go to the headmistress and get you fired," Marco said calmly from the floor. He took another sip of his drink.

"I dont care if you didnt yell at him, you insulted him and thats good enough for me." Alex said back in an overly sweet tone. "Silencio" she added flicking her wand at Marco's head.

"Thank you" Fabian murmured, "couldn't have said it better myself. But apparently I don't have a choice on the matter" he frowned. "I believe she deserved better myself, I would have wanted it to work out with Christian.. but Good God!" he heaved, "wait till her father hears of this" he slapped a hand against his temple.


"Stop blowing my cages!" he boomed! "those are expensive!", bloody annoying women were. "I very well have plenty good answers for this!" he pointed an index finger towards Josh, "Him! And his friend have been courting my niece the entire year when they know firmly i won't allow her to date at her age. And not only that! They have been teaching her stuff she shouldn't be knowing at fourteen! So beg to differ, Miss Alex, he's more than knee deep at faults. And the audacity he has to come flag it in my face, i think i took the easy route by caging him in when boxing his ears are more deserving!"

"And he doesn't insult..." Marco started. She had pulled her wand on him. An adult on a child. That was child abuse. This teacher was a maniac. He continued to open and close his mouth for a few moments later. No words were coming out. She had silenced him. He wasn't going to draw his wand on her, because that would mean he had stooped to her level. Forrester was going to hear about his. He wanted to call to Fabian. But all he could do was sit there. Drinking his drink and rubbing his leg.

Josh looked at alex as she let him out. thank goodness. he didnt want to be in a cage. he moved behind her as he then moved to give her a hug from behind. the angel of trans had saved him. take him away from this evil creature of an uncle.

Josh glared at him as he then moved to him and as he started to take a drink he laid his fist into his face." your a bloody prick. You deserve to go to hell.Dont ever say anything about alex again!!!"

he walked over to fabian before marco could do anything." I hope she blows up all your cages and then stuffs you in one so you can feel how it feels be put into a cage by a mad person." he was loosing it obviously." I have done nothing to her. Im sorry for making your niece happy.. Bloody hell someone needs to with her aunt gone and your bloody in the mental house. Her parents are gone and Your CRAZY.. you dont deserve her either. So it looks like neither of us gets her!! he glared at the man as he then headed to the door.

Lyra saw that Professor Pierce let Josh out and she was happy about that but..."What about Christian?" she demanded, until her face turned to Marco. "You are the disgrace to all males near and far, Marco. You snog every girl in your path but this is one girl you will never have." She went to reach for her wand but the Professor caught him before she did. "I thank you Professor Pierce." She then turned back to Josh and smiled for a moment. That was something she had wanted to say all year long, or at least since the hallway incident.

She turned her attention back to the cage that Christian was in. "Someone let him out," she cried as she began pulling on the front. "My uncle really isn't like this. He is really kind and...OH just let him out of here!!"

Christian watched Lyra, she was trying to get him out of the cage. Even after everything that happened, she was still trying to help. That's when the guilt started to kick in. He looked at her apologetically; oh who was he kidding? She wouldn't talk to him. She probably hated him now...

Marco watched Josh come towards him. Odd fellow. What was he doing? Was he going to apologise? He frowned as the glass was pulled from his hand. Odd. Suddenly something came in contact with his nose. It was so fast he didn't have time to see. He felt it break, and then felt the stream of blood. Great time for him to be silenced. And he couldn't do anything. Couldn't fix his nose. Couldn't ask someone to fix it for him. Couldn't stand. He just let the blood run from his broken nose onto his Slytherin robes, creating a puddle in his lap.

Fabian narrowed his eyes from Alex to Marco, the kid didn't do or say anything wrong. He was merely stating his opinion and to him, it sounded more than reason. He waved his wand to reverse the charm Alex placed on him, "Bloody not" he warned, "keep your wand in your pockets, thats the second time you flail it in less than five minutes".

"Quite so!" Fabian mused, "don't let the door hit you on the back! And by the by, you earned yourself detention for punching Marco. And I'll definitely see to it" he prodded, "and you'll hear from us in the summer, get ready for that wedding!".

He glanced to check on Marco, the poor fella started bleeding. He waved his wand towards his nose and started mending to him.

Alex looked at Josh in horror, "Josh!" she cried grabbing him and pulling him away from Marco, "Go to the dungeons I'll be there in a bit. And dont hit anyone else for Merlin's sake!" she yelled after him as she turned to Fabian, "I believe I will handle his detention, you'll more than likely kill him. And they are not getting married"
"Im getting there, I'm getting there." Alex answered in a very frazzled voice. Flicking her wand at the other cage, the lock clicked and the door swung open. "Happy? I didnt blow it up. And I wouldnt have to use my wand if you werent locking students up in cages." she said to Fabian. These kids were going to send the both of them to an early grave.

"Thank you Sir," Marco smiled weakly, his face rather pale. He wiped his nose, blood leaking onto his sleeve. Ow that hurt. He felt warmth to it, and looked up to see Fabian with his wand pointed at him. "Thank you again Sir." He pulled out his own wand and cleaned himself up.

"Lyra I don't kiss every girl I see. I have actually only kissed 4. Not including my mother, of course. And I am in a stable relationship," he muttered, "More than I can say about you. You have kissed two in like the last week."
