Jensen walked out of the girls dormitory and saw a group of girls formulating in the corner and decided to introduce herself.

"Hi, my name is Jensen. I'm a first year. Whats your name?"

He brought her hand closer. "Sana, I've never been taught anything else until I got to Hogwarts. At home, my mum and dad feel as if I can't do anything at all. They constantly tell me that they wish I wasn't around and they never write to me when I'm here. Being at Hogwarts is refuge, a place to escape them. I am so glad to be a wizard because it is something they can't take from me." At this last bit, he choked up and looked away.

He heard something about a game and then her question shocked him. "No, Sana. Not at all boring. I am so sorry, I feel a fool now for having made you feel that way."

"it was pretty good. Everythings back to normal again, after grandma past almost a year before. I wish i was in my 6th year like im supposed to be." She smiled faintly, but knew this term would be great. "How was your summer?"




Suzy smiled, "we were in the same year for about a year and a half, then i had to leave school early my 4th year, which put me back. I am supposed to be a 6th year." She smiled very weakly.

Suzy blushed when lima asked her what poetry she writes but she replied, "Well i mostly free write. Lots of rhyming. Mostly i write what im feeling, or what i want to feel. You know what i mean?" thinking she might not she blushed again.

Nicole nodded again. "Yep, it was fun being in the same year, and it was tough when she had to drop back, but things will be alright. I'm sure."

Amelia was a bit confused as to why Vannah was laughing, perhaps amused at her overwhelming behavior she was displaying was quite unusual for the sixth year. She took a deep breath, as she usually needed to do before exams or a quidditch game, and nodded anxiously awaiting what was inside the blanket.

Her hand instantly raised to her heart, as she gasped with the site of the most adorable baby badger. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes, and all she wanted to do was pet the creature; after she gave Vannah the largest hug ever for rescuing the poor creature.

After she was over the shock of seeing a real live badger in her midst, she wrapped her arms around the fourth year. "Oh. My. Gosh. I love you Vannah," she said quietly in her ear. Pulling away from the girl, she looked back at the baby badger, "Can I pet him? What's his name?" she asked excitedly, before snapping back to Prefect mode. "Wow, you really need to show this to someone. Professor Clark, maybe? I think he'll find the creature fascinating and it might even be the topic of our first lesson! OH! Can I come with you? Please?" she asked, a near pleading voice.




Still absorbed in Vannah's creature, she felt the presence of someone looking over at her. She didn't know how or why, but it was almost like the girl wanted to talk to her. From what Amelia could tell from her horrible peripheral vision, the girl did not look familiar at all. Sighing, she looked away from the adorable creature and gave full attention to the girl, who was now talking with Suzy and a younger girl. "Excuse me miss? Do I know you?" she asked, curiously.

Nicole nodded slowly to Mia's question. "Um...I think you do. I don't expect you to remember me though." She said, adding under her breath, "No one ever does." She looked up at Mia once again and said, quietly, "I'm Nicole Brennen, 6th year. I met you in our first year. But like I said I don't expect you to remember me."

"Thanks," Lima said noticeing that the new girl seemed a bit unsure of what to say to her. "Um, so what do you plan on doing after you graduate?" she asked curiously.







"I understand," Lima said smiling at her friend comfortingly. She didn't want Suzy to blush anymore. "Well, I was going to ask if I could see some of your work, but since it is private, I won't."

She listened him curiously. She was all shocked at the story first but regaining her touch again.
"Sorry to hear, Finn. They will realize their mistakes so soon, and will regret for their mistakes, I'm sure." she gently squeezed his hand again for giving him some comfort.
"If you wish, you can come with me for spend your vacation, my parents are very understanding, they wont mind..they'll greet you with two hands" she offered him a nice place to see and spend.

She smiled now, "it's okay, I thought you have got boring of this gal.." winking.

Nicole thought about it and then said, "I'm still thinking of becoming a teacher here or at some other school for Wizards and Witches, but my parents disagree. They really want me to choose a muggle career." She wanted Lima to know that she wasn't trying to be mean she just wasn't much of a people person.

After she comforted him and invited him to her home, something inside him broke. He put his hands in his head and began to weep. He tried to stop, but couldn't. It was nice to feel wanted.

Amelia frowned when the girl said that they met in first year. "You might be thinking of someone else, because I transfered here in my second year. That's besides the point though... Amelia Rose, 6th year, Prefect." she stated her name, in case the girl forgot, but it didn't seem like she did. "Nice to meet you again, Nicole."

Suzy smiled, it was good to see nicole again. "yes i wish i was as well, but i know things are going to get better." She listened to nicole talk about what career she would do best, "Well have you thought about doing something with the ministry that has to do with muggles? I would, unless you want something a little more exciting." She smiled



Suzy smiled, "Im glad someone does." She listened as lima spoke, "Oh i have no problem letting people read them, i have won awards for my poetry in different magazines. Would you like to read one? "She went for her notebook that she carried with her everywhere. it was an aqua blueish green color with different doodles on it. It was very worn, and very well used.

Sana was shocked again as she saw him weeping. Oh boy!! She didnt know how to comfort him. She did unerstand his feelings and his craving for care and love. She needed to comfort him immediately, she gently takes his hand away from his face and said, "Oh, Finn, Dont.....I know how you feel now..." she swiftly pulled him into the hug and patted him back solacingly.

He didn't know quite where all this crying was coming from. He certainly didn't know how to make it stop. He knew he must look absolutely stupid and yet he couldn't stop.

He felt her take him into a hug and he just relaxed and cried.

She was holding him against her, gently stroked his back and felt the wetness over her shoulder. She knew that he needs to cry and wipe out all his worries, fears and self pittiness.
She allowed him to settle down in her arms.

"That's very nice," Lim said smiling at the girl. She noticed that she seem to not be very sociable, so she decided that it was best to end things there. "Well, nice to meet you Nicole," she said smiling to show that she understood and had no hard feelings. She then turned back to Suzy.

"Oh, that would be wonderful!" Lima exclaimed. "Wow, you must be brilliant to have won awards." She waited eagerly for Suzy to select a poem to show her.

The fourth year was unbelieveably relieved by Amelia's reaction. Worrisome had completely left, leaving her beaming. Why had she thought Mia wouldn't like the little critter, she couldn't even figure out. It was just concern over what would happen to him, in the long run.

Taking notice that her dear friend looked like she was on the verge of crying, hopefully happy tears, Savannah opened her mouth to say something but closed it, and smiled. "Better yet, you can hold him." She said, gently moving the cub from his position in the crook of her arm to offer him over. "He does; I've been calling him Rabid." The girl saw no reason to explain the badger babies name, surely the sixth year would know already.

She nodded intently, agreeing completely. "We definitely need Professor Clark's help, I know I'm not giving him the proper care he needs; I don't know what the proper care is. Rabid will only eat vegetables, from what I've observed. And milk,..and cheese. He also likes to hide,..ninty percent of the time." Savs continued, motioning to the blanket. "Of course. It would be awhole lot better if you came, please do!"

"Actually," Savannah added, slowly; meekly almost. "I was kind of hoping if Professor Clark doesn't have Rabid taken back to a wildlife environment, maybe he could be apart of our - Hufflepuff's - Badger family?" She of course, had no problem with taking most responsiblity for him. But, thought it a nice idea for them all to take part in Rabid's being here, for in a way, him be their House pet. The little guy would need a loving family, he was only a baby and had no mother. After time, he'd get use to the human attention.


Upon hearring Curtis, Savannah snapped out of her small daze; merlin, she hoped Professor Clark wouldn't think it best to let him go back to the wild. Pushing these thoughts out of her mind, She turned her attention to Curt. "No worries, I figured so." She responded, slightly amused. Before Savannah had come to the common room, she had run into a certain Gryffindor and Slytherin; which at the thought reminded her of something else. "By the way, I'm really sorry about Alexis..She gets carried away with her teasing." And doesn't know where to stop. Vannah shook her head. The girl now had Kyler in on it! She was going to give those two the biggest lectures of their lives, it was the only thing she could do at moments notice without getting introuble.

"Oh! Of course," Savannah answered quickly, nodding and held the badger cub out more towards Amelia. "Meet Rabid!" She beamed, happily. "Told you he kinda lives near Serpents, in some form." In Hogwarts form, to be exact.


Over-hearring some housemates caused her to turn, for a moment. "Welcome to Hufflepuff, Lima. And Heyloo again, Suz." Savs greeted both, brightly.

"It's good to hear that his fine!" Ray said as he drew his cat from his pocket like he always did. "Hermy is fine as well" as he placed the white cat on the ground. "Still keeping her in my pocket" Ray jocked.

"Oh hey Curt, long time no see... Everything is fine! Summer was cool... I had a little adventure this summer in America... I will tell you all about it later" Ray said as he looked at Savannah, wondering what her new animal would be. Ray was surprised as Savannah showed them the badger cub. "Cute!" Ray said as he looked at the badger. He got his wand and flicked it, conjuring a small cup of milk. "Do you think he like this stuff?" Ray asked as he placed the milk in front of the badger.

He looked around for somewhere quiet to sit as he didnt recognise anyone.

Jess was returning from the seventh floor, where she had visited her owl, Barney. As she entered the common room, she saw Alaster sitting alone.
"Hi! Remember me?"she asked with a laugh. "How are you today?"

He smiled "Yeah I remember you this time! From Diagon Alley!" he laughed "I forget everyone!" he laughed again "I'm not too bad thank you. Yourself?" he asked, smiling

"I'm in an excellent mood since I came back here! I can't believe I'm so active and dynamic all of a sudden!"she said with a grin.
"Did you get used to Hogwarts?"Jessica asked Alaster. " Have you met interesting people here?"

He smiled "Yes I feel quite a bit better since I've been here!" he smiled again "I still keep getting lost but I guess I'll get used to it. I've met quite a few people but I have no idea what their names are" he laughed "My memory is atrocious!"

"Don't worry, in a couple of weeks you'll get used to everything and there will be no risk of getting lost anymore."Jess said. " Are you looking forward for the classes to begin? I have a few favorites which I'd like to start soon" she thought.
"Have you been on the grounds? Those are my favorite places at Hogwarts."

He laughed "Even with the moving staircases?" he laughed again "I am looking forward to the classes but I think Herbology sounds rather pointless. What are your favourites?" he tried to remember if he had been on the grounds "I actually cant remember if I have or not!" he laughed
