| | |  Hufflepuff Common Room
The still life portrait slides back into place behind you and you find yourself standing in a warm, welcoming underground room. The room is decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours, and gathered around the large fireplace are several huge, plump sofas which resemble fluffy clouds. There are lots of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.
A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here.
Portraits of past well known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.
Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left. | |

Curt looked at the little badger, the Hufflepuff symbol. It was really cool to see one of these up close, and he already had a great deal of respect for the tiny little critter. "Oh no, I'm sure Blaylock will love him." Curt said with a reassuring nod, that woman was all for Hufflepuff spirit and pride, so surely she would be all for the idea of keeping a pet badger around.
Curt looked up to Savannah and smiled, "I'll go with yall, I really wan't to see what Professor Clark is going to say. Plus, he can't doom the creature in front of all three of our pleading faces." Curt said jokingly, he knew Clark would never do such a thing, by doom, Curt most definately meant, 'Not getting to keep.'
