Lainey was dressed in vivid pink today. She'd never been so happy in all her life and it showed. Her ropes were pink, her shoes, her tights, her dress, her cheeks and lips. She had bought some candy from Honeydukes and each desk had a small mound of Peppermint Humbugs on it.

Rhiannon's eyes widen perceptibly as the Hufflepuff snapped, yelling at the professor and storming out of the room. That's one angry person, she thought idly to herself, popping another peppermint humbug into her mouth.
Then something else occurs to her. "You can't use polyjuice potion for animal transformation. It doesn't work that way. And centaurs certainly have the archery skills and mistrust of humans to do something like that."

Lindsey had not moved her hands from her mouth, her eyes huge, just watching the absolute freak out that errupted from Kingston without a single thought of concequences. Couldn't he get detention for saying such things? And yelling at a teacher all together. Her eyes still watched him as he quickly began to march his way out of the class. She was slightly unable to react for a while, just keeping quiet. Oh goodness, she should've expected that.
"Professor? May I... May I leave class as well just to make sure he ..." 'won't yell the heck out of anybody else' "...is okay?

Aithley's eyes grew wider as she saw the way the boy was behaving. She did understand that what that woman had done was nothing but outrageously mean but he could have taken that with humour, he could have been smart and made her regret having done that to him. Instead he had acted childlishly. Sighing, she understood that her chances of finding someone else to play with were extremely dim.
Looking around, she eyed every single one of the other students, slowly feeling more and more bored by the second. All of them were little nerds indeed who were so absorbed in their little meaningless chit chat that they hadn't even noticed that Cupid had just left the building.

For example, falling in love." She didn't exactly want the Slytherin prefect to get mad at her, but once again she was speaking without thinking about it.
She looked up as the professor had talked about poltergeists and house elves. "Of the two, I think I'd go with the poltergeist, because house elves are bound by too many rules to really be able to do something like "cupid" is said to have done."

Lindsey truly expected Kingston to get detention. She would've been shocked if he hadn't. She murmured a thank you to the teacher before she quickly packed her things and headed out of the classroom as well. Her first insitinct would be the common room, to where she headed. She hoped she wouldn't hear any screams of murder or torture, figuring that certainly had to do with Kingston letting out anger in some other way. Oh goodness, she better hurry.
