Lainey lead her line of students down to the lake, a large blue surfboard balanced on her head. She tossed it into the water and waded out to climb on it. She wasn't the most graceful of professors, but she managed.
"Alright class, let's go over a few rules before you all get out here. You can get in here, but don't go past my board. Come on in class! The water is... cold, but your suits should keep you warm enough!" | |

Christian smirked at the squid splashed the water, closing his eyes as he was his with the cold spray of water. He sat cross legged on his surf board, his ears open to hear what the squid was saying, but his eyes were watching the fluid movements of the squid's tentacles.

Heather felt the water pulling at her bored. She tried to paddle away but as the water crashed on her she fell off her bored. She held onto it as she swam away and then climbed back on but she was still with her class.

Patrick had been listening eagerly but then the squid sank beneath the surface and didn't reply. He sighed. The wave the sinking squid had created washed over him, tossing him from his board. He waited for the swell to subside and began to tread water while looking for his board. He spotted it not too far away and swam after it. After much effort he hoisted himself onto its surface again.

Rhiannon gripped her board as Bartholemew sank below the surface and created the wave. Riding the crest, she finally came to a stop a little way away from the group. Paddling back, she was slightly disappointed that it appeared the squid had left. She had hoped they could have gotten some more answers.
Running her hands back from her face, she slicks her blonde hair, which was now pretty much soaked, down her back as she glances at the professor.

Just a matter of learning balance," he held the board steady and he smiled warmly at her, his feet resuming their swishing in the water.
