Armand arranged the plants one last time, carefully making sure they were equidistant apart. None of the flowers had blossoms yet, though it seemed to be a matter of youth than a matter of season. Of course, he'd planned it that way. But they were nearly old enough to bud which left the time to start this class as being limited. He estimated that they would begin within the next week. For once it was good that the plant left his care. Well, such large quantities of the plant.

He moved to the front of the classroom, gazing over them. It was a good class for the students, though it still made him slightly nervous. Will they be insistent on seeing his plant? Well, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it. He glanced at the time and decided to open up the class.

Cassandra entered the class and made her way to her usual seat at the front of the classroom. Konkagami... that wasn't a word she was familiar with. She smiled at the professor and said "Hello Professor Erikson, how are you today?"

Juniper skipped into the Herbology class. A class about plants. Hooray! This was most definitely her favorite class, although CoMC pulled a close second. She pranced to the front of the classroom and took a seat. Looking around, she saw that the only other student in the room was the Slytherin prefect.

“Hello, Professor,” she said quietly. Juniper might be excited, but she was still shy. “How are you today?”

Marco strolled in. He had read that this class involved some squigly letters. He didn't speak funny languages. He nodded to Erikson and Cassandra and parked his rear down in a seat near the back.

Sahrina walked into the classroom and saw only four other students. She sat down towards the front and set down her bag. "Hello Professor." She smiled.

Apedemak strolled into the class at his normal unhurried pace, though lacking his normal rigid posture. The red rimmed eyes and dark circles under his eyes indicating a possible explanation. He nodded to Professor Erickson before finding a seat near Prefect Trelawney.

Qaz found a spot in the back of the room. It should be an interesting class, as she'd never heard of a Konkagami. It sounded a bit like oragami. Maybe these were plants that could fold themselves into different shapes. She'd just have to wait and see.

While she was waiting, she got her Herbology journal and quill from her bag. She noticed the chocolate still in her bag. She'd deal with that later.

Hermy walked into the classroom, her blue eyes twinkling and a smile flickering across her lips. Her hair was pulled back in spikey bunches, tied back with blue ribbons and sticking out at all sort of angles. Hermy was almost back to her normal self.

A large bag was slung over her shoulder, which on closer inspection could be seen to contain a canvas and painting things as well as her herbology textbook. She found a desk, and started to get out a quill and parchment.

Emily wandered into the Herbology classroom. She smiled shyly at Professor Erikson on her way past, and nodded at Cassandra. She found a seat at the back of the classroom and sat on her own. Ems was always nervous during this class for some reason.

Armand greeted students and looked about. Did the Ravenclaws just explode this term? Ah well. Slytherin is still ahead in house points. "Come on in, have a seat. I'll hold off a few moments longer for stragglers." He smiled to Cassandra, then. "I'm doing rather well. How've you been?"

"Great!" She said with a smile. "I told Alex he needed to attend your classes if he wanted to make a better impression on my father..." She smiled.

Marco had the urge to throw his rather heavy textbook at the Herbology Professor. Fortunately he didn't throw it. Instead he hit himself on the head with it, calling out, "I hate you Herbology. Why can't you be easier!!!"

Kayla glanced around the class, great she was the only Hufflepuff again well she hoped they weren't relying on her to earn any points this was her weakest class.

Alex walked into the class and looked around. Spotting Cassandra he walked over and sat next to her.

He chuckled softly. "Well, we'll see." There was an outburst from Marco and he looked over. "Is there a problem, Marco?"

"See?" Cassandra said to her professor, beaming as Alex sat beside her. She smirked at her boyfriend. "Thank you..." she whispered to him.

She had Apedemac on one side, Alex on the other and the hufflepuff Kayla was sitting behind her.

Marco looked up from the book, a red mark on his forehead, "Your stupid subject. Do you know how hard it is to revise? I read something about man eating plants. Something else about some other stupid plant. They are all the same. And it is stupid."

Emma settled down in her normal Herbology seat. She had her things out and ready in front of her, but her mind was somewhere else today. First off, she was worried about her friends and how they were still missing (and still in animal form, for all she knew) and how the History of Magic teacher seemed to be asking her students to go on a scavenger hunt for them. The other thing she was worried about was the one thing she was forcing herself not to think of.

He sighed and decided to take a page from his wife's book. He conjured up Natasha's DUNCE cap in the corner and pointed to it. "Marco, go sit. When you answer a question correctly, you can join us."

He turned to the rest of the class. "So, let's get started, shall we?" No Excelsior... No Sho... Were they missing as well? Who was missing that he didn't quite realize? He hoped he just wasn't seeing them. "Is there anyone who decided to look up konkagami and find out what it means?"

Marco's face fell. A dunce cap and the corner? That was even stupider than the stupid text book. He slammed down the text book and stood up with force. He eyed the cap and then Erikson. Who cared about konkagami? He huffed over to the corner, picked up the hat and threw it on the floor before sitting on the seat.
