At the Start of Term Feast, Professor De Luca (dracocutie89) decided to turn Josh Moonson (*JoshMoonson*) into a gerbil...

He recovered quickly, but he also landed himself in detention.

Looks like we're in for another action packed year.

"I won't bore you with words when there's food to be had. Eat, drink, and be merry... for tomorrow we learn." She sat just as the food began to appear on the tables.

She learned a new trick? Nice. XD

Aggie jerked her head out of her daze when she heard Fabian raise his glass in a toast to her. "Oh, thank you, it's nothing really..." She thought briefly about asking him whether he thought she was supposed to make a speech. Then she though about it... what better way to introduce herself to the school than to do it right now! Even this very second.

Aggie quickly rose to her feet, but at her height she wasn't very noticeable. No matter. She took her glass and tapped her spoon against it. she noticed a few looks from staff members, but that really wasn't a good way to get the whole room to noticed her...

Sighing slightly, she pulled out her wand and quickly muttered "Anulitus!" A pleasant ringing sound echoed across the room and almost instantly the room stopped talking and looked toward the sound. And straight at her. She smiled, stopped the ringing, and began, cheerfully,

"Hello everyone! I just wanted to personally introduce myself to you all. I'm overjoyed to be here!" she gave the students a very warm smile. She was truly happy to get the chance to be with them. "I'm M.O. Agatha Swensa, but please, just call me Miss Swensa, it makes me feel young again! And I feel so very young now looking out at you all... I would really like to try to get to know you all personally, if at all possible! Of course, I don't want you to feel at all impeached upon by me, I'm merely here to suggest and observe! I'd be happy to have all of your suggestions too! As the new head of the Department of Education at the Ministry, I want to make sure Hogwarts is still, and I'm sure it is, the amazing institution it once was under Dumbledore, Hendrix, and so many others!" Aggie took a breath and clapped her hands together.

"So yes, I'll be Head of Hufflepuff, my old house... I'm so excited to have taken this position! Isn't the food here so wonderful?" Aggie quickly jumped subjects, looking down at the array of desserts and puddings now placed below her.

"Oh, right. Yes, that's all I really wanted to say! You dears continue eating now, and I will see you all around the school this year. And please stop by my office! I don't know where it is yet, but I'm sure I'll be getting one soon! I'm can't wait to observe everything, and help to improve the school! Have a great evening." she finished happy, giving a genuine smile at Rae and sticking her spoon into her chocolate pudding.

Oh, yes! This is so much fun! I cannot wait to meet all these students in person... I should start a knitting circle...

The M.O. has spoken...and the students and professors have reacted. What exactly does she mean by observe and suggest? Hmmmm

A teacher gave a student veritaserum in potions and the student was suggesting there were affairs going on between teachers - possibly because of a love potion. The poitions teacher was thrown up on and left the room before the end of class.

Kirstie: Just to clarify, Professor Dresden gave Celestina Warbuck veritaserum (because he believed she was planning to poison Professor De Luca), and while under the influence of the Veritaserum she insinuated that Professors De Luca and Erikson were engaging in an innapropriate relationship, because she believed Professor De Luca was slipping Love Potion into Professor Erikson's coffee.

Professor Danni Pride, who teaches Transfiguration, was seen taking the book 'Transfiguration on the High Seas' on the Sixth floor corridor. Although there is nothing particularly suspicious about this, the way the Professor reacted when a fifth year student, Cynder Mortiferus Nightgale, happened to see the book was odd. When the student asked whether she was planning on a Pirate or Ocean themed lessons, the Professor fainted while she was trying to answer the boy's question and Cynder took the Professor over to the Hospital Wing.

I too would like to know what that there little comment made by our lovely headmistress during her first DADA class was all about...h'mm??

So, let me break it down for you guys on the drama that is the Slytherin Common Room...

Really, I should say that the trouble started at the S feasting table. It seemed that friendships, love-interests, and enemies were initiated there, all over a baked chicken dish. We've got a few new faces to welcome into Slytherin, and that's always good, but there have been clashes thus far with some of our first years. Most of these clashes involving a girl named *"Two If By Deatheater" and everyone else in our house (just about). A mortal enemies-for-life kind of relationship was struck between *"Two If By Deatheater" and "Age of Discovery" that threatens to tear the house of Slytherin apart. Things became so bad that Prof. Armand Erikson stormed into the SCR and figuratively lined us up and smacked us all with one swipe of his mighty, majestic hand.

It was glorious.

To further complicate matters, Erikson, Blaylock, & De Luca have been mentioned in a rumour started by a student. Within the house of Slytherin itself several bizarre love-trapezoids have begun. Most of these involve a key-player called *"Striped Vision". *"Creole Baby" has developed a crush for *"Striped Vision", who in turn has feelings for another more prominent person at Hogwarts. *"Striped Vision" has also offered to team-up with a recent enemy, *"Age of Discovery", who stands to gain something from the recent and diabolical actions of *"Striped Vision". *"Two If By Deatheater", meanwhile has begun to take a shine to *"Friscolani", who loves a Gryffndor and plays on the house Quidditch team with *"Two If By Deatheater's" sworn enemy, *"Age of Discovery".

It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. I can't wait!

*In the interests of protecting the privacy of my fellow Slytherins I have changed their names to Racing Horse names.

This is the most fun I've EVER had in ANY RPG!

Welllll, what started out as being a lovely party with yoga and poetry has gone WRROOONNNGGGG. Some lovely young firstie thought it would be fun to feed LOVE POTION to Tag (Seeker_Seven) and Cora (Dracos_Lady). Smooooth.

"Natashaaaa!," Tag gasped, looking over Faye's shoulder to the wall behind her. "Professor Blaylock. . . you're. . . you're beautiful! Oh!" He brushed past the group of students around him, including his girlfriend and two best friends, with one thing on his mind. He would have this gorgeous woman!

Tag planted himself upon the portrait of the sneezing Divinations professor. Love was never so pure. "I love you, Natasha! I always have!"

Jamie (Hemione_Loves_Ron) and Juno (Hawken Terrell) are watching from a close distance, Jamie being harrassed slightly by Cora.

Aggie opened her mouth again to add more, but then stopped as she realized she had forgotten exactly what point she was trying to make. She decided to wait to ask where her new office was... she was excited about it, but even though she couldn't remember what they were, she felt that she must have been discussing an important matter.

"Oh!" Aggie tilted her head to the side. She certainly hadn't thought that Rae would want to replace someone on the staff, they all seemed so friendly. But here she was, telling her to replace a member of the staff.

That seems very cruel, but I do want her to like me, and to not be so fearful of ministry...and it was her idea. I'll just go with it for now.

"Well, that can be arranged, indeed. In fact..." Aggie was on a roll now, working with the idea. "We could even make it a bit of contest! Have the students vote for their favorites and everything. It'd really give new meaning to my class surveys, huh?"

Come to think of it, this sounds really fun! Figuring out which teacher gets the axe... brought to you by the headmistress of the school! And I'll just make sure it works out. Oh this is so exciting!

And Aggie was lost in her exuberant thoughts.

This talk went well. I really hope we become friends! I should make her some cookies.

Without waiting to hear more, Aggie gave both the women a sincere smile and hurried out (as fast as an old lady can hurry) of the Headmistress' office, excited to go and see her own.

On the other hand ... when the Slytherin Qyudditch Captain Marco (Jenster) had walked over and hugged Professor Blaylock - Erikson without warning, causing the teapot to spill and resulting in Professor Natasha dancing about with pain and a Ravenclaw girl, Sabrina Evanstar (me) spilling her tea, Professor Erikson dashed in, causing the teapot to fall ... again and this is what happened :

Proffesor Erikson decided it was time to start a class for Slytherins only. The class was called Slytherin 101: Talk is Cheap. Proffesor started off the class about how Slytherin should be unifed house. This was a good start until Erikson said this.

After having heated discussions with some students as part of the "lesson" One slipped out of the class and found Rae and told her. She hurriedly went to the class and is there now

Update: Erikson blamed marco for going off and he told Rae who has sent Marco to detention. Erikson then asked to speak to the Headmistress in private. What is this about? Will Erikson get sacked?

And to clarify matters, Ministry Official Mrs. Agatha Swensa is the temporary Hufflepuff Head of House and will continue to assist Professor Maximus Vindictus in her role as Ravenclaw House moderator.

A certain Slytherin student has been very busy lately. First, he discovers that his Gryffindor cousin is actually none other than - gasp - his sister, they were separated very early in life due to unfortunate circumstances. Not only that, but he has another sister as well, who won't be attending Hogwarts till next year and doesn't even know yet that she has a brother. This very same student then, feeling sorry for another Slytherin who is about to be sent to Durmstrang, takes pity on her and agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend, with the stipulation that their situation is pretend only and nothing else, since he is very much involved with a certain Gryffindor who he really cares about. He suspects the girl he is helping has other ideas.

Meanwhile, this student is convinced that there are love potions going around the school influencing how people have been acting, but his sister suggests that it might be something darker, like the imperius curse. The boy thinks this makes perfect sense, and he and his sister want to find a way to let Headmistress Rae know of their suspicions.

Where will it all end?

Ravenclaw Prefect, Juno Novak, was summoned to Professor Vinditcus' office what for? He never found out. Instead he got stuck in a conversation with the professor and Marco Denver the Slytherin Quidd. Captain.

Near the end of the conversation, Juno got the distinct impression Professor Vinditcus was up to something. What oh what could it be?

A few students have been working with Professors Branxton and Lainey on a re-decorating committee of sorts. With the new ministry official at the school, they wanted her to feel...more welcome. They all met out at The Lake to brainstorm, and give out assignments.

They have already gone to work on Swensa’s office. But there is more planned.

Is there ulterior motive behind this project?

Professor ~~Bunny Man~~ Vindictus and Groundskeeper Gwalchmai Clark Just had an interesting conversation in Gwalchmai Clark's Hut. Apparently "The stuff" is in. Staff members are meeting at the broom shed around 10 pm tonight when the students are all supposed to be in their dorms.. Let's hope, it's not another apple and broom polish bomb.

MO Agatha Swensa reacted rather well to the re-decorating of her office. Too well. Not being a member of the committee, but being one of daring and nerve, Cora-Blue Latiffa levitated six nifflers into Swensa's office. Nice.

The Quidditch season for term 17 has finally ended with Gryffindor defeating Hufflepuff in the Championship Game. In the Consolation game (third place), Ravenclaw defeated Slytherin.
