Along one wall is a LONG line of tables stacked high with food. Yum! It looks like the elves have outdone themselves to provide all sorts of yummy sock hop food, including traditional 1950's American diner classics. That plate of hamburgers looks delicious, and you can even grab a glass bottle of sodapop at the end of the table. Make sure you get two straws for your chocolate malt. | |

Excelsior was delighted with the array of foods on display, some of them he had heard of but had never actually tried such as Coca Cola. He had wanted to taste this, hearing it was delicious, so he was very excited about the prospect of finding being able to find out what it really tasted like. He also took a cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup and some pickles. This was going to be fun, or at least he hoped so. At least it was something new. |

Evangeline grinned as she walked to the buffet with Bella. Somehow, she was feeling less pathetic. But still pathetic enough to be thinking about a plan to get back at Bella. Maybe she should squash all the chocolate in the room?

All the classics from back home. He took a plate and piled it with some burgers, fries, some chicken nuggets, and grabbed a strawberry milkshake and a root beer in one of the fancy glass bottles. He carried it all back to the table, thinking about home now.
Sure, Hawai'i was different from California and he hadn't been in California too-too long, but the food was still distinctly American and he liked that. The house elves really had outdone themselves. | |

Evangeline caught Bella’s roll of eyes and frowned. Now what was that supposed to mean? She sighed and shook her head, trying to read other people’s minds was useless. Especially if she didn’t understand Occlumency at all. Which she didn’t.
“Erm – okay then.” She said finally giving in to her curiosity. After the other day in the Common Room she shouldn’t be worried. Unless the mean Clifford was back.

James was DIZZY. He saw Evangeline and walked over swaying from side to side. "Hi Evangeline. Um..." James said then he toppled over BOOM. He fell in an awkward praying position on the ground in front of the food. He looked up. MUGGLE FOOD!!!! THIS WAS AWESOME!!!! JUST LIKE AT HIS BROT-he still hated his brother.
