Quickly, Rapunzel made the shielding motion with her wand, but forgot to say "Protego." It arced into the opposite corner and she laughed. "Round two....Emily!" she said, smiling.
She jogged across the room and as soon as she was in position she sternly stated, "Protego!" and made the shielding motion.....hopefully Emily hadn't tried the same.  |

Taika Ai's spell apparently was not traced back to her and she continued to sit in on the floor against the wall, muttering the spells over and over again.
She wasn't sure if she was casting the Shield Charm or not as no one was attacking her, so she couldn't be sure about how strong her shield was; her Disarming Charm seemed very up to pare, indeed; she wondered what else she could practise on her own.
She pulled her bag towards her and pulled out a book.
There was still the problem of being able to read every word, which she couldn't but she got the jist of it, at least. | |

Sophie got up slowly and pulled her wand out. She found a spot by herself and closed her eyes. She concentrated hard on what she was supposed to be doing before opening her eyes and moving her wand in a clockwise motion... "Protego!" She yelled, a silver whisp of smoke came from her wand but nothing more.
Sophie looked to see if anyone else had managed the spell but saw they were all in partners. She looked and saw a single slytherin. She didn't look very happy to Sophie skipped over to her. "Hello, I couldn't help noticing you didn't have a partner and nor do I. Would you like to be my partner?" She asked in her soft voice. | |
