Session 1 Rosters It was a humid day with grey thunderheads looming on the horizon. Despite the angry sky, Professor Vindictus cheerfully strode out onto the pitch with a sheet of parchment in hand. With a flick of his wand, it ws posted for all to see. Quote:

A loud roar came from the Gryffindor stands as the Lions flew onto the pitch. The sound was quite deafening and Vindictus checked their names off. But one team was missing. "Slytherin? Has anyone seen the Slytherin team?" he asked since there wasn't a Slytherin roster posted in the Captain's Locker Room. |
Professor Vindictus looked around again. Still no sign of a Slytherin team. He motioned for the Gryffindor Captain, Ryan Black, to join him on the pitch and began speaking to him in a hushed voice. The words "fifteen minutes" was heard before the Lion's captain rejoined his team overhead. |
Ryan walks toward the pitch wandering what it was going on."Yes Professor?!" He was listening to everything that the professor was telling him, and he understand that something had to be done. Secretely hopping that Slytherin would show up so they could at least play a decent game. |
"Here's the situation Ryan," Vindictus said in a hushed voice. "Slytherin didn't post a roster in the Captain's Locker room and it was due one hour ago. I know you and the team want to play but we can't wait all night." He looked about the pitch for any signs of a team in green. "Go join your team overhead." |
Vindictus amplified his voice to the crowd. "This game has been ruled a forfeit since Slytherin failed to post their roster in the Captain's Locker Room within a reasonable amount of time. Gryffindor is declared the winner and will receive 50 House Points." |
Kerry flew down, sad that the Slytherin team had not posted a roster in the reasonable amount of time. Of course, she was happy to have won, but not through a forefeit. She touched down and ran to her housemates anyway to give them all a big hug. "Well we would have played a great game," Kerry smiled at Ryan. "We'll just have to play a pick up match before the term ends so the team can fly together one last term this time." Kerry winked. Kerry looked around the pitch to see if any of the Slytherin team remained to go and shake hands with them. She could only imagine how upset they must be about having to forfeit the match. |
