Brie shocked by what she had seen hurried quietly to the door. She pusshed it open and since there was nothing else to do she watched the door. A couple came towards her and wanted to get in the door but she came up with a fairly good excuse that some on put a portable swamp in there and was told to keep people out of there. They hurried away and she smiled to herself knowing the poor elves pain of keeping children asleep.

Panting, Katie decided to take a break outside of the nursery. She was wondering why there was a nursery at Hogwarts. Perplexed, she decided to find out sometime this year.

Kennedy was wandering the castle trying to find all her classrooms and professors' offices before the start of term so that she wouldn't be late for any classes. She wanted to start out her first year on the right foot. She had just come from the Creature Room and was heading toward the DADA classroom when she came across a house elf asking passerby to be quiet so as to not wake the babies sleeping in what looked to be a nursery. Recalling a conversation she had with a boy in her common room last night, Kennedy figured that the babies were the headmistress's twins that she had delivered last term. When Kennedy was told that she could watch from the door, she was thrilled.

She loved children, especially babies. She had grown up as an only child and never had the joys of having a sibling, though she soon would, seeing as how her mother was 5 months pregnant with a baby boy! Kennedy had never been so thrilled as when her parents informed her that she would soon have a baby brother. Although there would be over a decade between them, Kennedy was still so grateful to have a sibling. Speaking to the twins in her head, Kennedy thought, "You two don't yet know how good you have it! Always having someone to talk to who will understand what you're going through. Always having someone to hang out with, to connect with. You are both very lucky. But go easy on your mum, huh? No crying at the same time. Just kidding. Good luck!" As Kennedy left the doorway she let out a very very faint giggle to herself. There was something about babies that always put a smile on her face. She walked away from the nursery even happier than she had been upon arriving.

Rachel walked to the nursery. She understood to be quite. She took out a quill and wrote, "Hi, I'm Rachel. Nice you meet you professor. Are those babies yours?"

Aurora had heard a rumor that there were babies at Hogwarts this year. She was beeming when she found out the rumors were true. She appraoched the nursery quietly as was immedately greeted by the house elf who was trying to shoo her off 'cause the babies were sleeping. Aurora knew how hard it was to get babies to sleep, her baby brother Ethan never wanted to go to sleep.
Aurora spoke quietly, " I am not trying to disturb them, I just wanted to bting them a gift." Aurora reached into her bag and brought out matching blankets that her muggle Grammy had made. "Would you be so kind as to tell Professor Rae that Aurora stopped by to bring these? And what is your name, house elf?" Aurora smiled sweetly at the house elf. She was suddenly missing Stormy, her house elf that was at home. Maybe she would send for him and let him meet this house elf if Porfessor Rae would allow it.

Brie had a short break after charms and since Alex and Criocia had to go to the common room she decided that she would go see the babies. When she got there the twins were awake for once. She went over to the destrot elf trying to feed them. "Can I help," she asked, the poor elf knodded. She was excited she began to smile and she was so happy.

Argyle is busy trying to feed the twins. It's not easy with just one nanny elf on duty. Argyle is feeding and rocking one of the twins while magically feeding the other one in her bed. Things are working great until someone sneaks in the office and frightens the house elf. Argyle looses her concentration causing the bottle she is feeding the second twin to drop in the bed. The baby starts crying loudly. "What are you doing in here?!! Mistress Rae doesn't allow students to just wander in and out of her office. You should have knocked before you came. What does you need from Mistress Rae?

Suzy steps to the door of the office but doesnt go in. She sees the babies quietly sleeping. "awe how cute!"

Brie always wants to go and see the babies on her time off but she hasn't in a while so she goes and visits them today. She knocks and says," Argyle Its Brie, remember me I come and see the twins everyonce in a while may I come in.

Nat was still trying to work her way around the school so when lessons began she would be late by getting lost. DADA was one of the lessons she was most eager to start so as she walked down the corridor, she was surprised to see a house elf pacing in a door way, whispering about babies.

Nat always had a soft spot for babies as she helped bring up her little brother. She didn't want to make a sound in case of waking them, but was curious to see them. She decided to wait at the door way to see them from a far, not wanting to disobey and enter without permission.

Argyle has finally gotten the two girls fed and back to sleep. Argyle starts folding the nappie one of the other house elves has brought up from the kitchen when two more students poke their heads in. "Mistress Rae says it's okay for the students to come and visit provided they don't disturbe Sophia or Genevieve and don't stay too long." Argyle gets up from the rocking chair and walks over to the bassinets. Genevieve wakes up and starts crying. Arygle puts her pacifier back in. "Aren't they adorable?

Sabina noticed the crowd around the nursey and stopped by t osee what was going on. Why there was even a nursey in hogwarts she wasn't sure but she didn't dare question about things she didn't understand for that almost always led to misfortunes. So she stood there, staying quiet and waiting for somebody to do something.

Nat peered at the two little tots and whispered to Argyle, "Aren't they the two sweetest little girls you've ever seen? How old are they?" Nat didn't get too close as she didn't want to intrude on the two sleeping babes.

"Almost four months old," Rae circumvented the girls in the doorway even as she answered the question. The twins were asleep, which was lovely, and she plopped into the rocking chair for a quick rest herself.

Argyle pops out of the office for a few minutes. She returns with a tea tray complete with earl grey tea and assorted biscuits. Argyle places it on the table next to the rocking chair. "Mistress Rae needs a snack too. The twins are doing fine." Argyle smiles at Mistress Rae and goes back to folding the babies' nappies. It's amazing how many nappies the twins can use in a day.

Brie could hear two people talking in the room. She was sure it was the headmistriss and Argyle. She knocked on the door and poked her head in.

Daniel was hurrying past, when he caught a glimpse of the door. He stopped, and walked back to the door.

Without opening it too much, he peered inside. Seeing the babies, he smiled and his eyes filled with tears. Not making too much noise, he shut the door again and walked off.

Maya stumbled into the office, and saw in shock the new office.. Or, to rephrase it, the nursery. The little girls were asleep.. Wow.

" Wow.. " she mumbled, making her way through the textbooks and the baby bottles. " What the heck happened? I think it turned into rainbow-land. " she whispered, looking at all the things in this room that were baby-friendly.

Rose stood at the door and looked at the cribs. Babies? she thought, Why would there be babies at Hogwarts? Something must be different about them. This is Defense Against the DARK Arts, maybe they're evil baby creatures. Rose hoped not, the room seemed very cheery and happy.

Argyle notices two students in the room. She stops folding nappies and walks over to the students. "Shhs!! Mistress Rae's daughters are sleeping. Mistress Rae isn't here right now. You can probably catch her in her office this time of day. Mistress Rae doesn't allow students to just hang around the nursery. You'll will disturb the babies." About that time Sophia starts crying. "Now see what you have done." Argyle walks over to Sophia's bassinet. Argyle takes the baby out and starts changing her nappie.

Michiko stepped into the doorway and smiled at the house elf. Very quietly, as not to disturb her, "hello there. yes, they are quite the cute little ones." She watched the house elf take care of the baby, and very quietly she tip toed twoards little Genevieve, smileing over her as she slept. She would have to pay attention to how the house elf took care of the children, because her older couzin would be expecting in a few months. She walked even more quietly twoards the elf and asked in her whispered voice, "m-may I help you... by any ch-chance?"

Phoebe was running, but as she passed the nursery she skidded to a stop. She cringed. She had been being very loud and usually that is a bad thing to be if you are near a nursery. She cringed again, sure she was about to get a telling-off. When none came, she peeked into the room. Upon seeing it, a tidal wave of guilt crashed on her head. "I am tho thorry! Is there anything I can do to make up for how loud I wath? I love babieth. I have a baby thithter at home," she whispered. She said th instead of s not because she had a lisp, but because she knew that the sound s is the loudest in a whisper and she didn't want to wake them up.

Brie was just walking by the nursery. When she noticed that a girl was standing outside it talking to argyle. She stopped and whispered "Hi, Argyle how are the twins today."

Rosalina walked quietly to the nursery and told the elf that she was sent to help.The elf hapily said,"Come in.Miss is just telling us you is going to help for extra points,you is."Rosalina stepped in,she stared cleaning and doing laundry to help the elves.Suddenly one of the babies woke up,hungry,crying.The other one stirred but went back to sleep.She is a deep sleeper,Rosalina thought picking up the crying baby,cradling it,and feeding her with her pink bottle.Soon the baby went back to sleep.A foul stentch reached Rosalina's nose.Oh no she thought...one of the babies needs a diaper change "Don't worry about doing it",she said to the elves,"I'll do it."Soon the diaper changed and the babies asleep.To her suprise, one of the elves tugged on the sleeve of her robes "Young Miss,I is seeing that Miss is here to get you."Rosalina looked at the door indeed Misstress Rae standing there.She said "Rosy dear,you have worked for hours.I would say you earned fifty points for Ravenclaw." "Thank you ma'am"."Now rush off to bed.You deserve a good nights sleep."
