| | |  Staff Locker Room and Practice Pitch
Located next to the pitch is an unassuming building that has been rarely used over the years, except for storing the official game equipment. Over the past week, the school house elves have been busy cleaning and preparing the room when their hectic schedule allowed it. At last, it looks like a locker room fit for a professional Quidditch team. The walls are painted a pale gold with a large Hogwarts emblem painted prominently on one wall. On the opposite side is a row of deep purple lockers with golden numbers and locks gleaming in the overhead light of the room. Inside each locker, are black practice robes, black and silver/white game day robes, and a broom servicing kit. The floor is padded in a non-slip black rubber and golden chairs covered with purple cushions are arranged before the lockers. The private showers and restroom facilities are down the hall, safe from prying eyes. A magical board on wheels sits to one side of the room - a single tap and it comes alive with various diagrams of Quidditch moves. Near the board is a bookcase that contains the latest Quidditch rule book and strategy guides, as well as the most recent editions of Quidditch magazines. A magical cooler stocked with refreshments and a cupboard full of miscellaneous items (snacks and first aid items to extra towels for the showers). A portion of the wall near the entrance, is lined with the portaits of students who gained prominence in the world of professional Quidditch. So come in and relax - it's one of the few student-free areas on campus! This locker room is for the Hogwarts Staff only. No students are to post in this locker room thread. | |

Jack walks in the locker room carrying his broom. He's glad that he has kept flying over the years. He approaches the locker with his name on it and places his broom inside of it. Since the locker room unisexed Tolkien grabs the practice robes and heads to the private changing cubicles. He really hoped the uniform would fit.
As he passed the diagram board he tapped with his wand and this note appeared:

Danni came down to the Staff Locker room with her broom balanced on her shoulder. Walking in, she looked around with a distant smile, she hadnt been to the Hogwarts Locker rooms since her last Quidditch match at school. Claiming a locker, she placed her broom and cloak inside and took out what she guessed were the Staff team robes. She headed for the changing cubicals, asuming she was alone, and singing softly to herself. | |

Onyx entered the the locker room, his old trusty Nimbus over his left shoulder, and marveled at the decor. He really rather liked gold and purple, but black and silver and earthly colors were more to his liking. He shrugged the thought off and walked over to the lockers and located the one with his name and opened it to see that there was a pair of pure black and black and silver robes along with a servicing kit for his broom. Frost ran a hand over what he assumed to be the gameday robes and let out a longing sigh. It had been ages since he had played a real Quidditch match, since his seventh year as a student twenty-two years prior in fact... he only hoped he wasn’t too out of practice for this sort of thing.
He placed his broom inside the locker and took the practice robes from their hook. Not feeling particularly keen on risking showing off his skivvies and thirty-nine year old upper-torso to anyone happening to be in the locker room, Frost headed for the changing cubicles, robes in tow.

Having changed into his practice robes, Jack made his way back into the main locker area. He heard noise coming from other changing areas so he assumed some of the other staff members were finally arriving. He took out the new broom servicing kit and began to tweak his Firebolt.

Armand walked in with a TurboBolt XL carried over his shoulder. It was rather old, but he was sure the thing still flew well enough. Come to think of it, it'd been a long time since he flew. "Please tell me someone is as rusty as I am."
He claimed a locker and took out the broom kit, starting to clean and run maintenance on his broom.

Danni came back out of the changing cubical dressed for practice andsinging to herself but stopped abruptly as she spotted the other staff members. She coughed, slightly embaressed, and put her other robes back into her locker. Leaning against the locker she asked Armand, "So when's the last time you've played in a Quidditch match?"

"Aye, I haven't played a match in twenty-two years." Onyx said upon returning to the lockers from the changing cubicle in response to Armand's statement. "Probably make a fool of myself. This is a young man's game, and here I am at thirty-nine about to have a crack at it again. Might be needing a healer or two on hand for this old man here, Gents, and lady." He added with a chuckle as he took a look at himself in the mirror on the flip side of the locker door. Deciding he looked alright he set about fixing up his old school broom.

Ophelia quite happily wandered into the locker room, oh dear, what had possessed her to play a sport that didn't allow animals that you could ride on...it was a lot to say that the young woman could be trusted to even play a high speed sport, but it had happened. Back when she was in school that was.
She tucked a strand of gold behind her ear and wore a slightly nervous, and highly oblivious smile on her face. She had slipped behond the shroud of ditzyness once more.
A broom was slung over her shoulder, and as she looked into the locker room to see if there was anyone else in here - which there was, she promptly walked straight into the bench. Good start Ophelia. Good start.

Eleven wrapped packages obediently entered the Staff Locker Rooms with Max following close behind directing them with his wand. "I've got a surprise for all of you - brand spankin' new SuperNova 10 racing broomsticks! I wrote to my twin brother, Marcus - he owns a Quidditch store in Edinburgh - and told him about our 'little' game. Since I'm not playing, he graciously is loaning these for us to ride on instead of the school brooms. He's also the one responsible for the uniforms and other equipment."

He grabbed one of the brooms and unwrapped it, eyes wide like a little kid on Christmas Day. His hands ran over every inch of the broom and he appeared to be overcome with emotion. "Oh, these babies are . . . perfect! Lightweight . . . sleek . . . and the balance . . . ." He continued to ramble on for a good five minutes about the perfection of the new broom.

Armand grinned and got himself a package, unwrapping the broom. Oh yes... this was so much better than the TurboBolt! He stuck both brooms in his locker, grabbed his practice robes, and started to get changed. "I'm convinced. Let's practice and test these babies out!"

Staring in surprise at the new brooms and uniforms Ophelia released a low squeal of delight, rubbing her knee where she'd knocked herself. "Oh my...wow..." she breathed; a huge grin spreading over her face as she looked at the new possessions wide eyed.
Looking up she grinned, and took hold of Danni's hand, an intense wave of deja vu spreading over her as she did so, "Ophelia Maline, Care of Magical Creatures," She smiled warmly.

Danni shook Ophelia's hand, but as she did a look of embaressment over came her face, "I'm so sorry! We did meet, at the opening feast!" she laughed and shook her head, "How are you m'dear?" Quote:
