| | |  Groundskeeper's Cabin/Office (Mr. Thorn)
While exploring the grounds you notice a medium sized stone built cabin resembling a small keep near the less populated area of the Grounds, almost adjacent to the shimmering lake’s shore. You notice that connected to this cabin there is what appears to be a shed of some sort. Curiously you make your way over to the cabin’s main entrance and upon closer inspection you notice that the window frames are made of blackened iron and that the oak door is braced in the same. Before knocking upon the heavy door you glace towards the shore and see that there is a row boat tethered to a small dock. Returning your attention back to the cabin, you notice smoke billowing up from the chimney, obviously the cabin is inhabited. You raise you hand, posed to finally knock upon the door when, “Who’s there?” A deep voice calls from behind the door before you can do so. You state your name and House to which you belong and the door swings open gently. There you see a tall, dark haired man of medium attractive build with grey-green eyes and and a short beard and mustache, draped in black robes and a royal blue cloak holding a pot of tea. “Come in, come in!” He says eagerly with a smile. As you cross the threshold you take in your surroundings, careful to notice everything. On the far Western wall there is a desk with stationary and to the left of that there are two oak bookcases packed with novels and spell books of all kinds, except maybe of the dark nature of course; and to the right there is a chest of drawers close to the roaring fireplace. On the Eastern wall there is a metal stove with cabinets and counters surrounding it and a small table big enough for three. To the South side there is a four poster bed and a bedside table next to it along with a black armchair to the left of them, which you see there is a fluffy animal of white grey and black fur which seems to be breathing. The man takes notice of what you are looking at. “That there would be Sabertooth, my Husky.” He said cheerily making his way over to the dog to pat him on his head. “And I would be Mr. Thorn your new Co-Groundskeerper, although if you would prefer to call me Mr. Avifors or Mr. Salem, that’s fine too.” He said making his way to the table and gesturing to one of the seats.
Once you take the offered place at the table, Mr. Thorn hands you one of the two steaming mugs of tea and sits down opposite you. “Now what can I do for you today?” He asks kindly and sips on his tea. | |

Belle bit her lip and straightened out her skirt as she walked up to the door. She raised her hand, balled it into a fist and knocked gently, hoping that it would be heard through the thick oak door. She waited patiently for the door to open and glanced around quickly before going back to straightening her skirt.

He picked up his mug of tea from the tray and tested it's temperature against his lips gingerly. Finding it to be just a tad to hot he placed the mug back down and gave a little sigh. "The one and only problem with tea is that you can never get the temperature just right to be able to drink immediately..."

Lucy stumbled down through the grass. She stopped and looked around, confused. This isn't the way to Hogsmeade, she thought. Obviously those third years had thought they'd get a laugh by tricking me. I'm so dumb sometimes. She was about to turn around and go back to the castle, when she realized she had no idea where she was. She saw a small cabin nearby and decided she had nothing to lose.
Rejuvenated by the sense of adventure and mystery, Lucy bounded up to the door and knocked soundly three times.

He conjured two more mugs and poured tea into both of them. Handing each of them to the girls, he said, "By the way ladies, this is Miss Isabella Tortellini." After which he took his seat and sipped on his lukewarm tea.

OOC: I am SO sorry guys. A lot’s been going on over here in the last while and in the midst of this, my mind completely slipped that Thorn had company. >.<
IC: “Pleased to meet you, Miss King.” Said Thorn upon returning his attention to the girls as he had been gazing through the window momentarily.
“Thank you, it’s a kind of muggle brew I’m rather fond of.” He replied to them both with a warm smile.
A moment or so later he noticed a piece of parchment under the door. “Excuse me a moment all,” he said before walking over to the door and picking up the note. He read it through twice and sighed inwardly. “Sorry but, I must be off. There’s a matter of sorts I must oversee. You’re welcome to stay and finish your tea if you wish.” With that he accioed one of his prized possessions and walked through the door.
