Amber walked into the office. "Hello Proffessor Craft, I'm Amber Fields, and I'm a first year. I was wondering what I could do to get ahead or for extra credit, or both? I want to do my best in every subject, you see. And, also, when is our first class, please?" Amber asked. She was very nervous.

"Well now thats taken care of" said as she walked in to the office.Ivanna noticed another girl there andgave afirndly wave.
"Hi Proffessor craft,i wanted when are first class was" she wonderd how her first few days were going to be.

Rave walked down the hall until she found the door marked 'Professor Ganymede Craft.'
Smiling she knocked at the door and waited for the professor to open the door.

"hey professor i'm candace a first year slytherin. i just thought i would come introduce myself before classes start"

:: Professor Craft, hearing her door come open as she rifled through the old crate, quickly turned with her wand out. "Stop!" She shouted. Seeing that it looked like an ordinary Ravenclaw followed by a Hufflepuff and finally a young Slytherin, she calmed down, but looked rather peeved.

"Ah, Hello. Please wait outside. Knock and then wait to see if I want you to enter..." Just as she finished saying this, there was a knock on the door.

"You three are interested in class, thats great. Please leave and knock." She said a bit sternly with her wand held near her waist. Her eyebrows tilted as she looked at them closely. She wondered if she should take off points this early.

She walked over to her door and held it open revealing a familiar face, Rave the Slytherin.

"You three scoot please." She told Amber, Candace and the Hufflepuff.


"Rave, please come in." She smiled at her old fellow Slytherin with pride.


Closing the door after the three other students shuffled out, she sat down behind her desk and motioned Rave to sit also.


Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a book that wasn't covered by the old school robe. It was half out of the old wooden crate.


"Ehgad!" Ganymede exclaimed annoyed before sprinting over and hiding it under a sleeve of the robe. "Just er.. an old school book." She explained to Rave before sitting once again behind her desk.


"Rave, How are you? I see Slytherin is already losing." Her smiling face turned into an angry frown. Her hair also darkened a bit in the already semi-dark room. ::

TOnya walks up to Professor Ganymede's office door knocks and waits for her to let her in.

Rave raised her eyebrow at Gany's concern about the book. Groaning she said, "You have no idea. Since you guys left, Slytherin hasnt had any interest in anything! We came in thrid last year at the house cup and we only had four people on the quidditch team. FOUR!"

Rave shook her head, "I dont know how I'm going to do it this year. I'm Quidditch captain and I am hoping there is more intrest this term. I dont want ot have to play by myself."

Rose walked briskly through the hallway until she saw several students crowding by a doorway. Being curious, she casually walked by. She realized this was a teacher's office, and she decided to knock on the office door.

:: Ganymede jaw dropped. "This is horrible. Everyone knows Slytherin is the best house." She said intensely. "Did you get to have any parties, you know, get house pride up?" She thought fondly about the parties in her day. Her face cracking a smile.

"Quidditch." She stated, "Thats a tough one. Maybe use an incentive. I want to help of course." She nodded and folded her hands on top of the desk. "I don't think money would be a wise incentive. Maybe I can buy something from Hogsmeade that the final players get. That would make people want to join up right?" She lowered her head and leaned in closer to Rave. "Just make sure the other Professors don't hear about this. I'm not sure if favoritism is ok unless its the Head of House." She leaned back and smiled, "I just have to find the item to buy."

"Well, maybe we should talk about this another time. I should get some work done." She looked at her watch and noticed the time. "Yes, I think a nice gift would be nice for those who get on the team. Just hint at it. Try to keep it in the house." She smiled and patted Rave on the shoulder. "You'll be a great captain this year. I think you can win this!"

Standing up, she walked over to the door to let Rave out. "I'll talk with you later. See you Rave." ::

"Bye Gany..I mean Professor Craft! Good luck with your first class. I'll be there." Rave said with a wink as she walked out the door.

Cassie went up to Professor Craft's office door and knocked

candace saw cassie a girl she knew of walked up to the door and knock.
"hi we might not get in for a while i mean i've been waiting forever and all i want to do is introduce myself and see who my new teacher is. how about you?"

"Same." she said to Candace, "i'll just go to the Frutsy Tree Grove or whatever it's caled and come back later, you?"

"okay cool i need a break"

"Man im bored" ivanna said to no one im particular.She really couldn't decide weather to leave or stay,until one of the two yelled over her shoulder.

Amber stood rigid and shocked as Professor Craft shoved her out of the room. She was a girl with ambition, no matter how shy, and this year, her ambition was to do her best in all her classes, and now especially Transfiguration. Amber was deterined to show Professor Craft what she could do.

"hey" candace yelled back to two girls at the professors door,"she is very busy and you'll be there a while, so why don't you join us at the tree grove, thing"

Ivanna decided to leave too, but she needed to got care of magical creatures first.
"Maybe ill see you there in a while, ineed to got a class first thanks though" she said and headed off.

:: Professor Craft left her office quickly, locked the door with her own unique transfiguration charm, and turned to see a young Ravenclaw still standing there.

"Is there something you need Amber?" She asked smartly as she stood akimbo in the hallway. She wasn't sure if the girl was being nosy or actually had something important to tell her. ::

Amber gulped. "Um, I just, wanted to know if there is anything I can do for extra credit, Professor Craft." she said, as politely as one can when they are trembling with fear.

Stoping by to say hello to Mrs. Craft Summer knocks on the door. After waiting a few minuts with no reply she decides to come back later. Turning back the direction she came she decides to go down to the lake for a swim.

:: Professor Craft rolled her eyes. "Ravenclaws never change. Extra credit you say?" She sighed and thought as she tapped her foot on the stone ground. "I don't think I have anything for you to do yet. Unless you could turn into a cup of coffee." She grinned sarcasticly before saying, "Have a nice day."

Ganymede cracked her neck and then walked down the hall and up the stairs. ::

Audra Laudarque had come to the office to introduce herself to her instructor. She always wanted to start the year off on the right foot, and this year was no different, especially as she had transferred to a school in her fifth year in a country with a new language.

Audra, a shy petite girl with straight black hair and violet eyes, places a tentative knock upon the office door of the Transfiguration professor. Upon hearing no reply, Audra looks around to see if there is a teacher nearby. She sees a teacher that she has not yet met walking up the stairs.

"Excusez-moi, Profesor. I am Audra Laudarque et un fifth year. I used to go to ze French academy, Beauxbatons. I am looking for Professor Craft. I wish to introduce myzelf to her. Have you seen her?"

Doug walks up to the door, knocks, and waits for a reply. already mad about having to wait, him, a Pure blood and a proud supporter of the Dark Lord, who is forced to be in ravenclaw, when he knows he should rightfully be in Slytherin. has to wait before entering.
