So this term the students experienced a rather ordinary Hogwarts Express trip unlike last term. The were welcomed to a Yule Ball as soon as they arrived, instead of the usual start-of term feast. Lainey has already made a huge mess and House Elves are lurking.

A lot of new staff has joined us again this term, and also there has been a high number of Prefect changes as older students have left us. The full staff list for this term is down below for your use and for your general knowledge.

Things have been getting crazy already. Hallucinating, fainting students are taking over places in the school. Also detentions have indeed again started up, might be another busy term in the Dungeons again, I feel sorry for the house elf that takes care of that place.

Borr still is mopping up the halls and getting himselfs into right drama's, although some of the help that came was rather flirtacious *stares at Lainey and the scared Branxton*

Colonel Mustard has been back this term, more than ever. However, Miss Scarlet has not been of assistance to his penmanship this term. Watch out for these letters my fellow students.

It has been discovered, or so assumed, that someone has brewed a love potion! The brewer has been stealing from Branxton's personal stores and has made enough Potion to feed most of the school! There is suspicions on those who are already infected:

Due to Lainey's love illness she is unable to teach her History of Magic lessons. So guess who is back on the scene? Yep you got it! Its My Berty Borr, I mean who else could be smarter

In other delightful news the school is going to bring back the quill! For those of you who don't know the quill is the schools organised paper to entertain the students here at Hogwarts. Applications should have been sent in and we hope to have at least one issue out before end of term on March 12th.

Moving to the sports section of things. We have experienced one Quidditch match this season and that was between Slytherin and Gryffindor. Slytherin won with 90 points and having obviously caught the three snitches, Gryffindor lost with 90 points and no snitches caught. Next match scheduled is Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, if i'm not mistaken.

Borr's first class has been a disaster as usual. He has now proclaimed himself as 'Lord Borr' and was teaching the two step in his lesson. This however stopped when Professor Hutchinson came to interupt, unfortunatley it ended up that both Professor Hutchinson and Lord Borr love each other after challenging each other in a cookie eating contest to show who was the better role model. They want Rae to marry them and she has 'agreed'.

More sports news is that Hufflepuff had to forfeit in their match to Ravenclaw. So Ravenclaw won that match and will now move on to face Slytherin in the finals. Well done Ravies and Slythies and good luck!

Those who had been infected by the love potion and were locked up in the ward have now been given an antidote to cure their poor lil love hearted selfs. However the person who spread such a potion remains a mystery.

The first edition of the Quill is out and well done to all of the staff who produced such a brilliant edition! See your Common Room for the link, or page three of this thread

Slytherins won the Quidditch cup by beating Ravenclaw 210 by 90! Well done our little Slythies!

Latest news on the Love Potion: Schmoop has been caught and admitted to brewing the love potion at the Headmistress' wishes of having a happier and more loving Hogwarts. Bless his small little soul.

End of term is coming up, so the latest news maybe the winner of the house cup this term. So far Gryffindor is in the lead.

And there we have it. The term has reached its end, I hope everyone enjoyed it. I know I did. As you can see the feast is currently open where the Headmistress may make her annual speech to announce the house cup winner. Which is: Gryffindor. Have a safe train journey home everyone, and goodbye to students leaving us after this term *waves*

No, no... Leiden is safely ensconced at Mungo's, I promise. I think I deleted it and forgot to make a new one, and then the site went down... thanks for the reminder, Alex. PM me next time and I'll probably realize my mistake a lot faster (I don't always check here right away).

Yikes, term hasn't even begun properly and Hufflepuff has already lost 10 points. Leaving us at -10 points.
A first year student came into Professor Hutchinson's office claiming there to be an accident involving stars in the corridors and that a professor had sent her to summon Prof. Hutchinson.
Obviously, it didn't happen as this student was RPing something she made up and that the corridor's thread wasn't even open yet.

Last night chaos nearly erupted by the lake. A student claimed to have seen a dementor (which we all know isn't possible, cos there aren't any this term,and they have to RP themselves anyway) by the lake. A whole bunch of students (mostly first years) began having fits and went into frenzies.

Nabiya showed up and stopped the girl who started it all, took away her wand and made the other students calm down. It didn't go down to well, some of them were still fainting and falling and screaming, Nabiya held it up best she could until Linnea came to help control the Ravies who were involved. And Lee came buy to help oversee things

After that (when they all realized that dementors would need to be RPed by themselves), they began waking up and saying they tripped, and were dreaming and or hallucinating.

Angel of Hufflepuff and Julia of Ravenclaw helped to take some of the students to the hospital wing while Nabiya was escorting Emma to the Headmistress' office.
She was given a second chance and let off on a warning. (she was the girl who "lied" to Hutchinson before term began)

well well well, today was a full day for a Ravenclaw Prefect and 3 professors.

During an "event" in the halls between Lee from Hufflepuff, Afton from Gryffindor, and Borr from the Ministry (boo), Linnea showed up, then Branxton, then Rae, Then Lainey, then Dainsie. Linny and Dainsie were pretty much ignored, which gave Linny ample opportunity to observe the other 3 professors.

Seems that Professor Branxton is on a First name basis with Headmistress Rae, and Lainey seems to have eyes for Branxton, forgetting all about McAiken. *pets McAiken*
Honestly, being a Prefect is Hard enough without our very own Professors coming very near PDA'ing in the halls. Guh!
