The DADA classroom was opened. The desks were pushed to the front of the room so that there was plenty of open space in the back of the room. Rae entered the room and eyed the open windows that were letting in plenty of air and sunlight. It was such a mild day, perfect for a walk by the lake after class. Alone for sure.

Rae clapped her hands to get silence. "I think you've gotten a bit side-tracked, students. Many of those were common defense spells, but I think we were just shouting to shout at the end," she smiled good-naturedly. "Now, those are all well and good, but any of my older students can tell you that I love to encourage us to think outside the box. What is a non-defensive spell that could be used defensively? I'll write them down."

Ozzy raised his hand again. "This is going to sound so stupid..." He thought. "Professor... could Agumenti be of use in defense?" He asked nervously. "I am such an idiot, but what the heck... She did say think outside the box." He thought to himself.

once again they were shouting out all these spells and chantel was back writing on her paper, taking down every single spell that was being called. Some of then she knew but then others she didnt, some she knew how to spell there name but then other it was a hassel trying to make sure she got the spelling right.

Meghan turned to look at the kid who said 'agumenti'. She grinned HE was definitly thinking outside the box. She turned back to the professor while she continued to take notes.

"I can see uses for all those spells, although Impedimenta is already a defensive spell and Veritaserum is a potion. But the others... could you distract with a stream of water or a fire? Prevent them from casting my tickling? You see how any spell can really be used in some defensive capacity!" She was excited and hopped off her desk. "I have two spells I want us to learn today, and I think they'll be a lot of fun. First, what spell can you think of that might effectively keep someone from casting their spell at all?"
